Gael loses control of his jet ski runs into Marena. Gael asks Marena to be his girlfriend; however, this causes Adrián to suffer since he is also in love with her. Jeremías is beaten in jail and Gael comes to his defense. Clara apologizes to Leona for having judged her. Benjamín receives the news that he has a cornea donor. Leona agrees to marry David. After a successful surgery, Benjamín regains his vision. Ramsés orders for Gael to be killed. Leona arrives at the church ready to marry David, but changes her mind when she learns that he was Columba's accomplice in trying to separate her from Gael. Gael surprises everyone by showing up at the wedding, but Leona also turns him down and assures him that she only needs her children to be happy. Gael comes to blows with Ramsés. Leona and David manage to get to safety the young women who were about to be sold. Leona shoots Ramsés and swears to him that he will pay for killing her family, he ends up in a hospital with an unknown illness. Leona meets with David and Gael to thank them for their love and tells them that she is starting a new life with her children by her side.
