Using the family's Native American background as a launching point, guest designer Cynthia Lee Quinn creates a playspace that's warm and colorful. Removable canvas is added to the walls as the base for for a mural that shows the family's homesteads in the Carolina woods and on the great plains, while a teepee, a grass-like rug and a tree bark-edged art table complete the space.

Knowlton to bring inspiration, light and fun to a space that's all washed out, taking design elements from Mexico found around the house to create a colorful art studio with a mural, drawing table and a secret hideaway.
