Despite this, expectations are high. As the elder of the group, Delia's confident she can teach her young diners a thing or two about how to throw a good dinner party. However not all the youngsters want to listen; especially prankster Alan who ends up having a row with Delia, leading Simran to hide under the table!

East London, Chintu Gademsetty

On the final day in east London doctor Chintu Gademsetty is confident of winning with his 80s-themed dinner party. But first he needs to create a cheery atmosphere following the tensions of the past two nights, and secondly he needs to out-do Delia's Cordon Bleu cookery. The night begins well when Chintu delights with his MC Hammer costume and Knight Rider car. And although Delia refuses to take part in Chintu's 80s dance competition, the host impresses with his break dancing. The food goes down well too - for a while! But after scenes which Delia can only describe as being 'like the Crimean War' is there any chance that Chintu can claim the £1000 prize?

Bath, Liv Sargeant

It's day one of the competition in the picturesque town of Bath, and first up to host is posh girl about town Liv Sargeant. Liv decides to kick things off with a sophisticated evening, complete with black tie dress code, which goes down better with some guests than others. The complete strangers that Liv has to win over are vegetarian ex-raver Mel Lewis-Leger; sandwich fanatic Becky Tyler; French patriot and food snob Denis Verrier, and finally local handyman Jon Wicheard, a man with simple tastes. Will Liv manage to pull off the stylish soiree she's aiming for, or will her hopes of a chic night be dashed by Jon's sudden revelation that he can only eat his dinner if it's accompanied by a certain type of special red sauce...

Bath, Mel Lewis-Leger

Second to host in the Roman Spa town of Bath is ex-raver and single mum Mel Lewis-Leger. Mel's treating her guests to a night of Cajun food and an "Old School" rave party. But will that go down well with Jon, the ketchup-loving handy man, who has an aversion to anything spicy, and social climber Liv who detests any form of forced entertainment? Picky Frenchman Denis has already rubbed the other guests up the wrong way after the first night with his arrogant bragging. Will he be able to contain himself tonight? Mel may be intending to send her guests "raving" mad, but will her food be too hot to handle?

Expectations for Jon's food are pretty low as his fellow guests are convinced he can't cook, none more so than arrogant Frenchman Denis Verrier, who thinks the food won't be up to his usual standards. Likewise sandwich fanatic Becky isn't expecting much, but ex-raver Mel is excited at the possibility of a disco on the night. Will Jon's simple grub leave him bottom of the pile?

Fourth to host in Bath is cafe worker Becky Tyler. With her day job heavily influencing her choice of starter, Becky sets out to put on a menu of great British fare, but what will Denis, the fussy French foodie and society gal Liv make of sandwiches for a starter? The theme for the evening is "Mad Hat" tea party and Becky is making the hats, so no surprises to see Jon's is covered in tomato sauce sachets. With a theme like that no one will expect a visit from a troop of Morris dancers, which will delight fancy footed ex-raver Mel, but horrify an already traumatised Liv. And just exactly where did that horse come from?

Bath, Denis Verrier

It's the final day of the competition in Bath and it's the turn of patriotic Frenchman Denis Verrier. Working in the hospitality industry, Denis is pretty confident he knows what it takes to throw an amazing dinner party, and Denis has grand plans to give his English guests a lesson about culinary excellence and French superiority. To add a twist to his evening Denis is breaking the 'Entente Cordiale' when he challenges the English to a penalty shoot-out competition which is far from what the guests expect. Will there be a European Union, or will the cross channel rivalry come to a head? Find out as the winner of the £1000 cash is revealed.
