Sheila gets whisked away to hospital where Karl confirms she’s suffered a severe heart attack and may not make it through the night. Kyle and Naomi are eventually joined at the hospital by Gary.

Georgia is put in an unenviable position when Gary asks her to convince Kyle to visit him before he’s taken to jail. But Kyle is still too angry at his father and refuses. During her visit, it’s clear that Sheila still holds a lot of pain over Gary’s actions.

Tyler assures Brennan he’s got everything under control. But when he finally turns up for work, he finds Paige struggling to cope after Matt’s death.

It’s the day of Matt’s funeral, and his loved ones gather to take comfort in each other. Susan’s supported by Toadie in the lead-up to performing her first funeral. The Willises are struggling with the guilt of knowing it could easily have been Brad who was killed by Danni’s car, instead of Matt. In the grieving Turner household, Lauren is determined to stay strong for her kids.

Terese is worried Lauren will find out the whole truth about Matt’s betrayal.

Meanwhile, Daniel happens upon Imogen and feels a strong need to talk.

So Paige suggests Amber come along instead and Josh tells her to bring Daniel too. After the initial awkwardness is diffused, the foursome starts to have a good time and a slowly blossoming camaraderie is evident.

Susan, out power-walking, witnesses an exchange between Bailey and Jayden and is shocked by Bailey’s rage, even more so when Bailey stares at her in defiance rather than hiding from her.
