The body of an iconographer is discovered in a deserted location, and soon officers from the Violent Crimes Unit discover that he was involved in an antiquities smuggling ring. At the same time, a young artist, Ermis, agrees to create a copy of Persephone's Hand, a coveted piece of ancient art, on behalf of Stergios, a gallery owner and looter.
