The player in question knows Mick from when he was a cop and her mother committed suicide. All of it tied into a gambling ring.

Mick and Joey receive a free trip to Hawaii only to find out that Gordon wants them there for a reason - to investigate the disappearance of a senator's aid. Mick isn't interested in helping until a girl he has a date with also disappears. Fritz joins them as bait and is also kidnapped. The girls are being gathered for a slavery ring.
