Episode 1 - Shadows of the Past

Tess Ho, once a high-flying socialite, is released from a 10-year prison sentence for the attempted murder of her ex-husband Pierce. Struggling to adjust to her new reality and her insecurities, she tries to piece together what really happened the night of the poisoning. Meanwhile, Nadrah, a compassionate doctor who testified against Tess, faces her own dilemmas as she juggles between her clinic's expansion plans, her family and fear of repercussions from Tess.

Tension mounts as Caleb secretly investigates Tess. Venya's attempts at bringing Tess and her parents together are futile, resulting in an awkward exchange with Sivan. Nadrah is emboldened by Irfan to pursue her dreams of setting up a free clinic.
