Şerif's ambush, designed to prevent them from following Sultan Ebe's trail, puts Adil and Gezep in mortal danger. Finally, realizing that the Furtunas were the ones who sold Eleni, Adil is enraged. Esme's assumption that Şerif is staying in a hotel room with her further shakes Adil. To stop Adil, Şerif attacks and harms the villagers working on his land and the Koçaris, leaving many injured.

Is Eleni their daughter? Adil will only trust one of them; that same day, he brings Gezep's biologist twin, İlve, to Koçari for a DNA test. But it is not İso who gets into that pickup—it is Eleni and Fadime, who want to have their first iftar with Esme. They crash in the pickup with failed brakes. Who will survive this terrible accident now depends only on a miracle.

Şerif goes after Esme. Esme, meanwhile, triggers the earthquake that will bring Furtuna's end, telling everything to Gezep. But Gezep is not the only one she tells.

She begins following İso around and tries to talk to him about her emotions. Şerif, shaken by Şirin Furtuna's acceptance of giving all her assets to Oruç, has Sevcan drug Emine to make her miscarry the baby in order to prevent Esme from divorcing.
