This episode featured four pairs of best friends competing as teams. Stunt #1 (Double water beam) One team member would be standing on a 12-inch wide beam high above the ground, and their partner would be standing on an 8-inch wide beam underneath. As four water jets forced water down on the lower beam, the person on that beam would have to cross it, get a crank, walk back to the farthest water jet, and clip the crank on a rope that their partner was holding. Their partner would then have to hoist the crank up and use it to turn off the water jet. They would have to repeat this process until all four jets were turned off. The three teams to complete this stunt the fastest would advance to the next round. The slowest team would be eliminated. In this episode, the top five couples from season four's Couples Fear Factor series returned for a rematch. Stunt #1 (Sliding floor transfer) Both members of each couple would be standing on a platform high above the ground. As the two platforms making up the floor slid further and further apart, both players would have to jump the gap, transferring flags from side to side. The couple to transfer the highest total of flags before both falling would win a pair of fully loaded 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokees. Stunt #2 (Water cage) Both members of each couple would be locked in a cage with a wall of bars separating them. In this episode, six former winners returned to try and win the $50,000 a second time. Stunt #1 (Semi truck bike plank) Players would start out on top of a semi truck driving down a highway, walk to the middle of a balance beam jutting off the back, release a flag, and return to the starting point. The player would then have to get on a bike and ride it across the beam to the trailer of a second truck. The player to complete this stunt the fastest would $10,000. No one would eliminated in this stunt. Stunt #2 (Tomato horn worm juice) Two at a time, players would have to chew up mouthfuls of tomato horn worms and spit the juice into graduated cylinders. Stunt #1 (Submerged limousine) One member of each couple would be seated in the driver's seat a limousine and the other would be locked in the trunk. The limo would be submerged underwater and the person in the driver's seat would have to wait for a red light to come on. That person would then have to swim to the back seat, retrieve a key, escape through the sunroof, and free their partner from the trunk. Both players would then have to swim to a buoy. Stunt #1: Jet Ski to Float Plane Contestants would start off on the pontoon below a flying seaplane over a thousand feet in the air. They would have to shimmy across a pole to the other pontoon, release a flag, then return to the first pontoon and release a second flag. The two men and the two women to complete this stunt the fastest (or release the first flag the fastest before falling) would advance to the next round, the others would be eliminated. Stunt #2: Eel Helmet Contestants would have to stick their heads in a large fishbowl-helmet occupied by moray eels with a narrow tube to breathe through. Stunt #1: Rolling Flag Snag Contestants would have to shimmy out on a horizontal pole jutting from the front of a giant dump truck and release a flag. They would then have to return to the top of the truck, release another flag, then shimmy out on a second pole and release a third flag. After releasing the last flag, contestants would have to drop off the pole to stop the time. Stunt #1 (Inverted fall and car flip) One team member would be handcuffed and hung by their ankles 120 feet in the air while their partner waited in a car on the ground. The person hanging by their ankles would have to unlock the handcuffs and pull a rip cord. When the helicopter flew over a second buoy, the second twin would also have to jump out. Both twins would have to retrieve a flag from their respective buoys and swim to an ultra boat. As four water jets forced water down on the lower beam, the person on that beam would have to cross it, get a crank, walk back to the farthest water jet, and clip the crank on a rope that their partner was holding. Their partner would then have to hoist the crank up and use it to turn off the water jet. They would have to repeat this process until all four jets were turned off. Stunt #1 (Helicopter rappel) Going head-to-head, contestants would use a hand-break to rappel down ropes hanging from a helicopter. While rappelling, they would have to release 5 flags from a rope hanging adjacent to them and then drop into the water below. The man and the woman from each city to get the best time would advance to the next round. The others would be eliminated. Stunt #2 (Meat Locker) Paired with the other person from their city, contestants would be bound by their wrists and ankles with duct tape and locked in a frozen meat locker. Once they had worked together to free themselves, both contestants would have to dig through a barrel of lard and cow innards to find a wrench. This season finale episode featured four newlywed couples competing at Universal Studios Orlando. Stunt #1 (Rope snap and helicopter rope climb) Partners would be standing on opposite sides of a Plexiglas wall over a lagoon and be holding onto a rope. They would have move up and down to move the rope over a file on top of the wall in order to break the rope in half. They would then have drop into the water and swim to a pair of jet skis which would drag them to a helicopter. At the helicopter, they would both have to climb up ropes with 5 flags attached and release as many flags as possible before falling into the water.
