Episode 1

The youngest uncle, MING LAI-KEUNG shuttles MING SUM-ON whom is the Executive Director of LUNG FOOK JEWELLERY to work in the morning. They see from far that the designer of the jewellery shop as well as their neighbor, CHENG KIU is doing her shopping… SUM invites KIU and her husband together with the assistant, KWOK WAI-LUNG out for buffet lunch. When KIU and LUNG leave the table, SUM takes the opportunity and asks the husband of KIU, MA HO-MAN to urge KIU to hand over her draft design. MAN’s car is damaged after KIU has lent it to her former schoolmate. KIU therefore forces KEUNG to send them to work as well in the morning. KEUNG knows that SUM tries to keep a distance with her subordinates. In order to stop KIU and MAN from taking the free ride, KEUNG steals away the draft design that KIU is supposed to submit from her home. While KIU is about to confess to SUM on the next morning, KEUNG wants to undertake the responsibility……

Episode 2

MAN decides to renovate the washroom at home. KIU proposes to get her own materials and only pays the labour to the fitting master as to save some expenses. MAN reveals to his wife that a jeweler MR LAI has invited him to work under his company. KIU thinks that it is a great opportunity for the husband to get a promotion and pay rise. Yet she also knows that MAN will not quit his job easily since he has received a great favor from SUM before. KIU purposely leaks out the head hunting news and thinks that SUM wants to see MAN as to make him stay. It turns out that YIM-YUNG wants to re-inset her ruby ring. Moreover, SUM proposes to let KIU to design the ring for YUNG on behalf of her husband… KIU finds that the ruby is missing and from the closed circuit television she finds that SUM has approached her desk. KIU affirms that SUM plays a trick to make MAN stay……

Episode 3

When KEUNG gets home, he is surprised to find that SUM is holding a ruby ring. In fact it is a ring given to SUM by her deceased husband. SUM mentions that both rings are stemmed from the same stone. As to claim the matter, SUM has to endure the pain and hand over her own ruby. KEUNG and MAN go back to the office at night to look for the ruby but it is in vain. KEUNG reveals the truth to MAN as he cannot bear to see that SUM is being mistaken by MAN and his wife… MAN suddenly receives a call from his wife and KIU claims that she has promised MR LAI on his behalf to accept the new job. MAN discloses the truth to his wife but KIU thinks that it is only a subterfuge SUM has used… SUM bumps into KIU and returns the assignment of equity to KIU. When KIU gets home and finds that MAN is prepared for signing the contract, she dare not reveal that she has met SUM earlier……

Episode 4

When SUM has a discussion with the staff about the display of a new series of jewellery, MAN is unsatisfied and asks CHUNG to give some comments to the designer. When seeing that CHUNG is being with a young lady, KIU presses MAN to tell her the romance about CHUNG. MAN has to reveal what he knows… KIU enquires NA about it and NA indicates that the ex-girlfriend of CHUNG wants to reconcile with him. At the same time, CHUNG airs his grievances to MAN that he has actually decided to be with NA and hopes that MAN can help him to make NA happy again. When KIU knows about it, she suggests CHUNG to please NA with the new series of diamond that she has designed. The end result turns out to be a failure… CHUNG has no mood to work and SUM indicates that she would use some administrative means to handle his personal problems if the situation shows no improvement. After hearing that, KEUNG assumes that SUM wants to dismiss CHUNG…

Episode 5

SUM has a meeting with the staff to discuss about getting the design right of the 30 carat yellow diamond from MADAM LO. Yet SUM realizes that KIU wants to leave earlier. When KIU gets the butter crabs that she has ordered, she gets help from a housewife, MARY and becomes friends with her. Everyone waits for SUM to come back for the meeting and since KIU has a date with MARY, she perfunctorily gives SUM an old design drawing in order to leave earlier. NA reports to SUM that she has found the whereabouts of MADAM LO. SUM decides to go and look for her together with KEUNG… In fact MARY is MADAM LO. When KIU hears the words of criticism that MADAM LO disparages the design of MAN, she gets mad and claims that MADAM LO knows nothing about design. Seeing that KIU has offended such important customer, YUNG vents her frustration on SUM and SUM has to swallow it all……

Episode 6

The mosaic master UNCLE BIU claims that the design drawing of KIU is messy and SUM can tell that UNCLE BIU has something bothering his mind. UNCLE BIU finally reveals his plan of retirement and recommends his junior fellow, KIM-HUNG to take over his position. SUM and KEUNG are invited to join the birthday celebration of YAU-WAI. At the banquet, WAI recommends his cousin to replace UNCLE BIU but SUM immediately indicates that she has already hired the junior fellow of UNCLE BIU… The junior fellow of UNCLE BIU gives up the invitation from LUNG FOOK since he has a much better offer from another company. When KIU sees the fine inlay of a brooch, she bets that it is made by an expert. When KIU tries to inquire about the maker at a cafe, she bumps into CHU BO… As to show her sincerity, SUM brings along the contract to meet BO. Yet BO claims that he must bring along his apprentice DAI-HUNG to work……

Episode 7

KEUNG announces to the colleagues that the expenditure application is about to close for the month. KIU immediately hands over several receipts for buying some cookery books and KEUNG reluctantly helps her to declare half of the cost. When seeing that BO applies to purchase a MP3 player, KEUNG indicates that personal items should not be declared. HUNG is not happy and condemns KEUNG for siding KIU… KEUNG deliberately picks on BO and HUNG and points out that they drink at work. SUM has to come forward to smooth things over. As the department heads, both KEUNG and BO have to go to the jewellery shop for inspection. CHUNG does not know whom to give the diamonds that the customer wants to inset and therefore he puts the diamonds on the table for them to sort it out. As the stone setting department head, BO takes the diamonds away……

Episode 8

BO wants HUNG to explore the faults of KEUNG and attempts to find evidence of nepotism about SUM. After overhearing the conversation between BO and TAK, KIU persuades TAK not to talk too much as to avoid giving the pretext for anyone to split the colleagues up. When KEUNG meets ALICE at the canteen, he is attracted by her and wants to date ALICE out for a movie… KEUNG is in a great mood while having lunch with LUNG and the others. At this moment, a cleaner has wiped the feet of MAN-FU with her wet mop. KEUNG habitually asks TAK to pay for the meal on his behalf but TAK no longer wants to pay the bill for KEUNG… KEUNG is confused when ALICE does not want to be friends with him due to his ill deeds. Finally KEUNG gets to see the picture about his avoidance of paying the bill is being posted at the canteen. When KEUNG meets FU, FU asks KEUNG to fill in the survey form of the canteen……

Episode 9

While eating the cake that is made by NA, the colleagues praise about her versatility. Yet everyone finally finds that NA only holds a short interest towards everything. During the meeting SUM proposes to get a new spokesperson for LUNG FOOK JEWELLERY and KIU recommends the International Best Actress CHING BO-BO to hold the post. MAN finds that SEVEN LITTLE FORTUNES JEWELLERY also intends to work with BO-BO. BO-BO offers her condition that whichever company can make a bogus bracelet as the one the princess of a small country in East Africa has worn before; she would be its spokesperson. NA reports to KIU that PRINCESS FEI-FEI is in HK and KIU suddenly has a strange desire of borrowing the bracelet from the Princess as to take a look at it… The next day SUM has a meeting with WAI and NA suddenly disappears. NA returns to the office after the meeting ends and everyone puts the blames on her. NA is scared and dare not say a word…

Episode 10

SUM takes back the unit next-door and KEUNG proposes to rent the flat. After hearing about the rent, KEUNG withdraws his thought. SUM has a video dialogue with SAI and SAI indicates that he will be back to HK to develop his career. SUM therefore decides to keep the flat for SAI till he is back to live in HK. KEUNG thinks that leaving the flat empty for half a year is a waste and indicates that he will help SUM to find a short-term tenant. KEUNG successfully gets MR YAU to rent the flat. The bank notifies SUM that the check MR YAU has issued cannot be honored. SUM and KEUNG get home and find that the furniture inside the flat has changed. MR YAU also reveals his true colors… SUM, KIU and MAN bump into MR YAU while he is having a meal at a deluxe restaurant of a hotel. KIU cannot help sitting behind him and eavesdrops. She finds that MR YAU boasts about himself in front of a woman…

Episode 11

SEE-MAN sees the branded handbag KIU carries is old and shabby. Everybody convinces KIU to get a new one but KIU rather saves the money to reward her husband with a great meal instead. While KIU is having lunch with MAN, TAK reveals to KIU that they all have won the third prize of the Mark Six… NA mentions that the celebrity MADAM JUK will hold a second-hand charity bazaar to sell the bags and clothes from the stars at a hotel. When they arrive, KIU uses the money that she has won to buy her favorite handbag. KIU accidentally hears the conversation between TAK and MAN; then realizes that her husband wishes to buy a new laptop… KIU sells her handbag as to get the money for buying her husband a laptop. When KIU meets the buyer, CHING-LING; LING only takes a brief inspection since she has to rush back to the office. MAN feels so touch when seeing the laptop given by his wife……

Episode 12

LING waits for the appearance of MAN at the lobby of the LUNG FOOK JEWELLERY office and asks MAN directly whether he is a police superintendent. MAN mentions about the incident that LING has looked for him and indicates that he has bought back the fake branded handbag. NA has also bought the same style of handbag. While putting together with KIU’s handbag, they can finally differentiate between real and fake. TAK and the rest indicate that MADAM JUK might have sold a fake bag for charity but KIU thinks that MADAM JUK will not do such a thing to ruin her reputation. KIU meets LING when she goes for her cooking lesson. Both of them do not give way to each other and make the cakes in a complete mess… Standing in front of the cooking class cabinet, KIU sees that LING does not take away her locker key and wants to swap the handbags secretly……

Episode 13

LUNG gets panic when he receives a call from a foreigner and KEUNG gallantly helps him out. LUNG asks KEUNG to teach him English but KEUNG is weak in it as well. KEUNG is not able to answer the questions that LUNG raises and eventually becomes speechless. After getting back home, SUM gives LUNG a translating machine. SUM actually does not want KEUNG to go on pretending and teaches LUNG some wrong English. All the colleagues find that LUNG has made great progress with his English. LUNG honestly admits that SUM has given him an old translating machine and it makes KEUNG jealous. A customer MR LUK has taken a large amount of cash to the jewellery office. When SUM asks LUNG to deposit the money into the bank, KEUNG thinks of a trick. LUNG gets back to his seat and finds that the money has disappeared. When KEUNG quietly goes to the place where he has hidden the money, he finds that the money is really being taken away…

Episode 14

NA informs SUM that she has to visit the workshop together with WAI but KEUNG indicates that the car is being taken away for inspection. SUM decides to take the public transportation in order to experience the hardship of her staff. When SUM gets off the car, a man touches her backside from behind unexpectedly. The next day everybody in LUNG FOOK gossips about the appearance of a filthy guy and KIU blurts out the indecent assault that SUM has experienced. All the staff set off to the industrial zone as to catch the filthy guy but the exaggerating look of KIU makes everybody laugh. KIU purposely acts coquettishly in front of the target but he is not interested in her at all. After that they send MAN and NA but the filthy guy still remains unmoved… Seeing that the plan of catching the filthy guy is failed, SUM suggests bringing the staff to visit the new workshop……

Episode 15

During the meeting, BO records down the agenda with his MP3 player as usual. KEUNG is not happy that HUNG always travels between the office and workshop by taxi and refuses to pay HUNG the taxi fare. Seeing that BO also records down this incident, KEUNG purposely speaks loudly to the MP3 player. SUM proposes to make a salary adjustment in the coming season. BO and HUNG both think that SUM is trying to please everybody intentionally. KEUNG goes to the retail shop for inspection. He feels uneasy when seeing that BO and WAI are talking privately inside the meeting room. KEUNG follows BO on his own to a commercial building. Unexpectedly, he sees BO steps out the building together with WAI and WAI is covered with wounds. KEUNG further presumes that BO must have grasped some secrets of WAI……

Episode 16

SUM indicates that there is an empty room ever since UNCLE BIU has moved out of the LUNG FOOK male dormitory and asks KEUNG to be responsible to rent it out. When SUM reports the corporate affairs to WAI, WAI carelessly leaves his MP3 player in the car. KEUNG hides the MP3 player away and listens to its content together with KIU but the recording is extremely boring. LUNG informs KEUNG that there is a tenant and it turns out to be BO. KEUNG gets everybody to come for a meeting and points out the plot of BO by moving into the dormitory. SUM thinks that KEUNG just worries too much. KEUNG does not believe the judgment from LUNG and decides to find out the truth by himself. KEUNG makes an excuse to do the decoration for BO and quietly puts an eavesdropping device inside the room… When BO and HUNG find the eavesdropping device, BO thinks that SUM plays a trick to frame him……

Episode 17

HUNG requests to change his room at the meeting and claims that it does not match with his destiny. Seeing that HUNG has a tough attitude, LUNG indicates that he can swap his room with HUNG but KEUNG does not approve. HUNG has slept inside LUNG’s room and dreamed of some Mark Six numbers. After betting on it, HUNG really won the third prize and therefore he strongly believes that the position of this room can bring him wealth. KEUNG tempts TAK with some horse racing tips; he wants TAK to side with LUNG and objects to the swap of rooms. After receiving a call from TAK that he has changed his mind, HUNG quietly cuts off the lines that access to the Internet and telephone. It makes TAK lose his chance to win any money. In order to fight for the room, HUNG kidnaps the turtle SUGAR LOTUS that LUNG has raised. LUNG is very depressed when finding that his favorite pet has disappeared……

Episode 18

LING meets SUM at the television station while SUM attends an interview with the Weekend Leisure as a guest. During the interview, SUM expresses her views about the management level. LING gets a vicarious feel towards her speech and she is impressed with SUM. KIU has bought a lot of cheese and asks LING to collect it from her office. While KIU introduces LING to the others, SUM and MAN just get back to the office. Seeing that there is an outsider in the office, SUM reprimands KIU severely. KIU gets annoyed and keeps complaining about SUM. KEUNG has to tell her the reason why SUM has to reproach her… When KIU is making dessert together with LING, she cannot help criticizing SUM and points out that the private life of SUM is extremely boring as if she has no friends around. LING meets SUM with her plain clothes at the fruit store while SUM is chatting with some housewives. It makes LING feel very surprised…

Episode 19

BO claims that KIU has a very slapdash approach to complete her design drawing and makes it hard for forming the mold. KIU argues with BO as to save her own face. Knowing that KIU is in the wrong; MAN helps his wife mediate… SUM privately asks MAN not to spoil KIU too much. BO states clearly to SUM and MAN that if the condition does not change, he would report to the chairman and gets KIU fired. KIU attends the dessert class and wrongly takes the tool belongs to a wealthy woman. When KIU sees that the rich lady is wearing some jewellery with her own design, she finds that it is different from her original design. KIU questions her husband and MAN has to tell her the truth… KIU gets back to the office to look at her own drawings and discovers that the drawings are full of words and questions marks……

Episode 20

All the colleagues in LUNG FOOK feel strange when knowing that a rich guy is chasing after NA. Yet NA indicates that she prefers to enjoy her single life instead. After KUENG and the other colleagues have made their blood donation, they ask FU to support the blood donation as well but FU hedges on the topic. NA meets FU while she is having lunch alone in a cafe. FU sees that NA has a book named “Blood Type and Personality” and reveals to her that his blood type is O Negative. KIU is suddenly being informed that MAN and CHUNG are injured in a traffic accident during their business trip in China. Knowing that MAN and CHUNG are suffered from excessive bleeding; NA immediately looks for FU and wants him to go with her to China in order to save them. Yet FU ignores her but NA is persistent and refuses to give up. She indicates that only the same blood group with O Negative can transfuse blood mutually……

Episode 21

Although KIU has heard many times that LING has a boyfriend, she has never met him before. KIU and her husband accidentally see that LING is waiting to get into the cinema by herself. The two of them wait aside hoping to take a look at LING’s boyfriend but unfortunately without success. KEUNG grumbles about getting a wedding card from his former schoolmate and ridicules such ugly man can also get married. KIU strikes an idea of introducing LING to KEUNG and let them have a blind date. KEUNG has a great impression on LING and decides to give LING a probe with a piece of two-card diamond as his secret weapon… KEUNG dates LING out for dinner and purposely shows her the diamond. Yet LING thinks otherwise and rejects KEUNG when he straightly proposes to associate with her. KEUNG makes a complaint to KIU and affirms that the reason for LING to reject him because she does not like man at all…

Episode 22

There is a discussion among the colleagues whether they should eat shark fin and KEUNG thinks that the objectors are just being silly. The next day when SUM and WAI carry out for the unveiling of the SEK KUM DONG bronze statue, a group of villagers and environmentalists are there to protest. SUM, WAI and YUNG are shocked to see that HO-YEE is being one of them. The reporters recognize YEE as a family member of the SEK KUM DONG GROUP and immediately pester her for an interview. Seeing that SUM is worried about YEE, KEUNG advises her not to look for trouble. Yet SUM indicates that she tries to look after the daughter for YAU-SHUN… CHI KOON from SHARK FIN PALACE asks LUNG FOOK to make some pure gold shark fin ornaments for him. Unexpectedly, an environmentalist NANCY brings along some red paint to protest radically at SHARK FIN PALACE. She even sprinkles the red paint over the outside wall……

Episode 23

SUM asks a lawyer to bail YEE out at the police station and makes YEE work to return the bail. KEUNG announces that YEE is going to work at LUNG FOOK and everybody has the vigilance against this radical colleague. YEE points out the shortcomings of LUNG FOOK during the weekly meeting and thinks that the operation of the company causes great environmental damage. Everybody thinks that her opinion is a fuss about nothing. NA watches an online fragment that was taken surreptitiously with a mobile phone. It proves that YEE is not the offender who sprinkled red paint and all of them realize that they have blamed her wrongly. SUM and KEUNG accompany YEE to close the case at the police station. YEE immediately contacts the environmentalists to discuss about the next action……

Episode 24

CHUNG reminds KIU that the series of her Dream Lover jewellery will be launched next month and asks KIU to name very piece of her works. Yet KIU thinks it is really troublesome… The shortlist of the Asian Jewellery Design Competition has announced. SUM urges KIU to hand over the design drawing of her participative works to BO as soon as possible. Although KIU indicates to SUM that she already has the design concept, she only cares about watching TV and ironing the clothes after getting back home… BO chases KIU about the design drawing. As to protect his beloved wife, MAN indicates to BO that after some modifications the drawing will be ready in the afternoon……

Episode 25

KIU and MAN have a celebration about obtaining the merit award from the Asian Jewellery Design Competition but MAN is not satisfied with the result… The General Manager, WONG of SEVEN LITTLE FORTUNES JEWELLERY suddenly appears and tries to lure KIU away with higher salaries. KIU is overjoyed and tries to probe the response of SUM. KIU inadvertently overheard that SUM plans to transfer the pay raises from all the colleagues on KIU as to make her stay. KIU decides to resign after hearing that. Ever since KIU starts working at the new company, she begins to dress up gorgeously as to cater the preferences of WONG. SUM learns from another fellow that WONG likes chasing after the female staff in his company. SUM and KEUNG start worrying about KIU… SUM and KIU get to know from MAN that KIU always works from morning till late night. It makes both of them worried that KIU may fall for WONG…

Episode 26

The colleagues at LUNG FOOK are not happy that BO leaves his durian inside the refrigerator and makes the office stings to high heaven. When KEUNG makes an accusation about it, BO gets angry suddenly. SUM wants to hold the regular meeting earlier all of a sudden. BO requires SUM to delay the meeting since HUNG is still in Dongguan and cannot be back to HK in time. BO does not want the colleagues to know that he is an illiterate and therefore only speaks of his own department during the meeting. When KEUNG goes home alone, he meets a woman squatting on the floor painfully. While KEUNG is helping the woman to search for her medicine, a man suddenly censures KEUNG for sexual harassment… KEUNG meets the male and female bandits again but his phone has run out of battery. When KEUNG sees BO, he writes a message on the wastepaper and pushes it into BO’s hand……

Episode 27

KIU happily goes with MAN for inspection at the jewellery shop while KWOK-HING is shopping with a gorgeous woman, BO-SHAN at the jewellery shop. KIU affirms that HING has two lovers at the same time and feels sorry for LING. When KIU meets LING at the cooking school, KIU shows LING the pictures that she has taken and indicates that she will help LING to chase the third party away. Knowing that HING and SHAN are having a birthday celebration at the hotel, KIU decides to monitor them with MAN. When LING knows about it, she condemns her good friend for being too nosy. When KIU and LING have their cooking lesson again, LING purposely keeps KIU at a distance and does not want to talk with her. It makes KIU very upset… After the cooking lesson, LING bumps into SHAN on the street and SHAN tries to probe into the relationship between LING and HING……

Episode 28

Some food drops from FU’s shopping bag and a dog tries to bite it away. FU snatches his food back and condemns the owner for not taking care of his own pet. YEE sees everything and blames FU for being so mean. When FU knows that YEE tries to take away the left behind food from the cafe as to feed the stray cats and dogs, he forbids his staff from giving the food to YEE. All the staff at LUNG FOOK are discussing about the cat abuser. YEE feels so bad when she sees the pictures about the cats being ill-treated. The next day YEE meets FU while he is carrying a pet cage and YEE decides to follow him. YEE cannot help telling everybody that FU is the cat abuser and everyone decides to catch FU together. When YEE and the others hide in a hidden corner waiting to capture FU on the scene, a dark shadow appears to catch a cat at this time. Yet FU immediately shows up to arrest the abuser right away…

Episode 29

WAI and SUM go back to LUNG FOOK for the regular meeting together. Suddenly a staff from the main office rushes to return WAI the ball pan that he has dropped. YUNG instantly gets an idea of hosting a “Best Employee Election”. The Personnel Manager, KAM MA-LUN takes his own initiative to replace all the work permits for the staff of LUNG FOOK in order to win the award. KEUNG stops everyone from voting for LUN and offers LUNG to participate in the campaign. The votes between LUN and LUNG are very close. After discussing with everyone, KEUNG decides to submit to LUN. Yet WAI has inadvertently known about this incident… WAI convenes all the staff of LUNG FOOK and denounces them openly. WAI even points out that LUNG is unsuited for the eligibility criteria of the “Best Employee Election”. KIU and the rest disagree with it and everybody reveals the merits of LUNG individually……

Episode 30

Although KIU has become the senior designer, she cannot stop behaving like a typical homemaker and it makes MAN feel terribly embarrassed. Hearing that CHUNG praises the card box she has bought for MAN, KIU immediately offers to get one for CHUNG. CHUNG tries to convince MAN to draw some ornament designs for his customer privately but MAN rejects him. When KIU gives the card box to CHUNG, she immediately becomes the target for venting his frustrations… KIU is not happy that CHUNG and the other colleagues do not show any respect to her senior status. MAN coaxes his wife and purposely gives her a watch as an encouragement. MAN encourages KIU to cooperate with the “Fresh Asparagus” fashion brand. KIU has a meeting with MRS KO whom is the person in charge of the brand. Unexpectedly MRS KO is in a great mood and KIU is not able to get away for the appointment with MAN……

Episode 31

YUNG purposely assigns SUM to select a set of jewellery for WAI’s uncle, TAU-YU as the birthday present for his mother for the sake of having YU to finance in SEK KUM DONG GROUP. KIU learns from KEUNG that YU and SHUN both have chased after SUM in the old days. KIU attends the dinner party held by the SEK family as to explain the design of the jewellery. Yet YU only wants to reunite with SUM wholeheartedly and does not pay attention to her explanations. Uncle YU hopes that SUM can keep him company for sightseeing and SUM agrees. While MAN and KIU are having dinner in a restaurant, they accidentally overhear the conversation between YU and his mother that YU intends to bring SUM with him to live abroad… When SUM sees MAN and KIU, she thinks that they are following her. KIU feels sorry for interrupting SUM and YU, she then hopes to help and bring them together…

Episode 32

Seeing that LUNG bursts into tears while watching a romance play, KEUNG assumes that LUNG has started to pine for the opposite sex. YEE tries to share the work with others but all the colleagues dare not give her any work to do. It makes YEE feel that she is incompatible with the crowd… LUNG gives YEE a new cup and inside the pantry KEUNG is shocked to see that LUNG and YEE are using a pair of couples cup. YEE advises FU to take the camera for repair. The advertising photographer LUK JIT has lunch at the 8 TO 9 CAFE and inadvertently mentions that there is a master in Sheung Wan who is able to fix the camera. FU brings his camera to the camera shop and leaves it for repair. The next day he gets a call from the camera shop owner and indicates that the master has accidentally broken the lens of his camera… When FU sees the old pictures that YEE has fixed, it brings him back so much of his childhood memories. SIN POK accidentally sees a picture inside the printing room and finds that the man looks familiar……
