Afton finds Bobby shot in J.R.'s office. Lucy suspects J.R. framed Peter. Ray tries to warn J.R. against Randolph. Sue Ellen and J.R. have a new "marital arrangement" after the showdown with Peter. Jamie surprises Cliff during their conversation about annulment. Then as Bobby leaves Pam's house, a car drives straight towards Pamela, Bobby pushes Pam out of the way and the car hits him. The crash and the driver is revealed to be Katherine Wentworth who is dead. Bobby is rushed to hospital where he dies of massive internal injuries.
