Indira, the daughter of Kutumbh and Inder Sharma, asks her nephew, Ishaan, and sister, Mandira, to complete their morning chores. She even scolds her brother, Munna, and his wife, Sunaina of being irresponsible. Kutumbh gives Indira the municipal corporation’s notice regarding an overdue water connection bill, but Indira snaps at her. Indira's ruthlessness stems from the hatred she feels for her father. Later, an estate agent, Radhe, brings tenants, whom Indira rejects for a petty reason.

Radhe takes Rishi, a man who is looking for a place to rent, to Indira’s house. They encounter Munna, who charges a high rent for the room, which makes Rishi leave.
