The KO's family discuss YU-CHU's issue in a family meeting and they worry that YU-CHU will become very emotional after the breakup. YU-CHU is heart-broken and she tries to do cleaning overnight. YEE-MAN pretends that he is sick and he asks YU-CHU to stay home with him. The family members go to karaoke together and they hope that YU-CHU could sing her pain away... Owner of Tak Kwong Pawn Shop, KO YEE-MAN, is delighted that his third daughter YU-PO is coming back from her studies aboard. He goes to a dried seafood shop to buy runny abalone for her but he is caught in a trouble. YEE-MAN’s eldest son WAI-TING’s wife WAN YUEN-HAN goes to a trading company to present their public relations proposal with her subordinate but they are humiliated by the company director’s assistant Miss KOO. YUEN-HAN wants a divorce and she tries to pack up her belongings in the bedroom. YU-CHU tries to stop her and persuades her to stay. YU-CHU will be transferred to Regional Crime Unit soon. During the pre-screening interview of the singing contest, YEE-MAN and YU-CHU believe that YU-PO will not be selected. However, both YU-PO and YIP KWAI are selected unexpectedly. Actual contest sequence will be decided by drawing lots. YU-PO and YIP KWAI are assigned to be opponents unexpectedly. Both of them want to win so they decide to give their very best in it. YU-PO wants the whole family to attend the singing contest but she still needs two more tickets so she seeks help from LAM FAT. KWOK-MING gives a list of missing items to Tak Kwong Pawn Shop and YIP KWAI discovers that they have got a missing necklace. While discussing the case, YU-CHU carelessly reveals that she is the pawnshop owner’s daughter. KWOK-MING believes that YU-CHU is familiar with the operation of pawnshops so he invites her to investigate the case together. YU-CHU tells everybody how smart KWOK-MING is when catching the thieves and everybody regards KWOK-MING as an extraordinarily good man. LAM FAT dreams of YU-CHU writing calligraphy on the street just like a beggar and he wakes up with a start. On the next day, LAM FAT dresses up in suit to visit YU-CHU at her office. He reveals that he has just won Mark Six and he announces that he will pursue YU-CHU. Everybody is shocked and YIP KWAI suddenly appears in a nice suit as well… YU-PO accidentally discovers a promotional leaflet for renting a unit in the commercial building. She believes that WAI-TING and his wife are planning to move out for they will get a big business soon. She cannot help to spread the news to her colleagues and YEE-MAN… WAI-TING and his wife meet an old schoolmate PETER in a restaurant. PETER invites YUEN-HAN to become a shareholder of his company. After reviewing their assets, the couple figure out that they still needs 2 million dollars for the deal and YUEN-HAN asks WAI-TING to borrow money from YEE-MAN.… ...

He is delighted to learn that his children like her as well and he starts wondering if he should find a new partner… While chatting with LAM FAT, YU-CHU loses her balance unexpectedly. LAM FAT announces that he will compete with YIP KWAI to pursue YU-CHU. After kissing LAM FAT, YU-CHU realizes that she has fallen in love with him unconsciously. After quarreling with his girlfriend, KWOK-MING indulges himself in work. In order to revenge on his rival in love, KWOK-MING asks YU-CHU and the others to join a tug of war contest. He even meets up with TSUI-SZE for he wants her to stop fantasizing on LAM FAT but… YU-CHU discovers that somebody is following her and she is shocked to see the most wanted man in front of her. YEE-MAN and LAM FAT discover that YU-CHU is being attacked. They rush to stop it and LAM FAT is injured while trying to save YU-CHU…
