BUN led his pupils for a special training session before the championship game. They went through the tough training and were exhausted. LEUNG saw some wild flowers that JING loved. He put them in her quarters, but he mistakenly put the flowers on YING’s bed. CHUNG loved to play, but he had made LEUNG lose his opportunity to be promoted to brown belt. When BUN knew, he punished CHUNG to make many straw men. CHING went to the camp, and accidentally said that SHAN was admitted to the hospital. BUN made his excuse to leave the camp and went to the hospital, and knew that SHAN had only three months to live.

BUN knew that SHAN did not have much time left, so he brought her to dine in an expensive restaurant, and bought a ring to propose to her, only to find out that SHAN was not the one who is terminally ill. BUN was extremely embarrassed. During the training, CHUNG was oppressed by JING. She ordered him to chop some wood to cook, but he did not returned for a long time. At last, JING found CHUNG, but she was hurt. CHUNG carried her back to the camp. After the training, the physique of everyone has reached the requirement. CHUNG’s result was excellent. BUN gave SHAN the ring, but she gave him a check to buy the ring. CHING realized that there was only SHAN in BUN’s heart. So, she set up a plot to destroy their relationship. One day, the three of them were together in an elevator. The light suddenly went off, and CHING immediately slapped on BUN. He was totally lost.

CHUNG listened to CHAI’s advice and started to date JING. Their relationship had become much better than before. SHAN ran into a rapist, but she fought back and escaped. When she ran into him for the second time, BUN was around and saved her. SHAN was very grateful. YAN was very superstitious, she calculated that CHAI was her future companion, but she refused to accept it as a fact. BUN’s judo club ran a qualifying match, so that the representatives for the championship can be selected. On YAN’s unintentional encouragement, CHAI fought well and won. The five representatives were selected. In the final round, LEUNG and CHUNG were fighting to become the chief representative. CHUNG used the secret technique that JING taught him and won. CHUNG was very angry and lost his confidence. In order for CHUNG to regain his confidence, JING went to look for seashell in the middle of the night. CHUNG was deeply moved and decided to practice judo again. Finally he gain his blue belt. In the beauty parlor, CHING purposely introduce some boys to SHAN. SHAN accidentally poured an entire bottle of apple acid over CHING’s face. CHING denounced her that SHAN was jealous about her relationship with BUN, and intentionally did so.

CHAI wished to tell YAN that they would not be able to develop into a relationship, but YAN said that they were God’s choice. CHUNG apologized to JING. JING asked CHUNG to bark as a dog. They had another argument.

JING and CHUNG had another argument and did not speak to each other. CHING followed BUN and SHAN to the movie. BUN and SHAN were forced to sit separately. SHAN felt that they were dating like having an affair. She decided to solve this problem. LEUNG came back and knew that CHUNG had separated with JING. LEUNG took the opportunity of celebrating his father’s birthday, and hoped that his parents could forgive each other. However, they had such a strong opinion and were unable to do so. KWUN fainted on the street, and was diagnosed to have Parkinson disease. KWUN condition deteriorated, and could not recognized CHUNG’s family. The letters that KWUN wrote in the past were discovered. Everyone was very sad, and decided to continue to run his small cafe. The pineapple bun that CHUNG made was so bad that the business of the cafe plummeted. CHUNG wanted to sell the cafe.

CHUNG decided to study to make a better pineapple bun, and did not want to sell the cafe. However, SHAN was worried about the financial condition. BUN wanted to sell his taxi and help SHAN out. KWUN’s condition deteriorated further, but he still insisted to make the best pineapple bun. CHUNG saw how KWUN made his bun, and learnt the secret. He finally made a delicious bun. LEUNG was forced to resign. His parents were misunderstood that he would commit suicide. LEUNG had succeeded in taking this opportunity to make his parents to forgive each other. JING went out to dine with LEUNG. CHUNG misunderstood that JING was LEUNG’s girlfriend. In order to avoid JING, CHUNG withdrew from the judo club on the excuse that he had to offer his helping hand to the cafe.

LEUNG was hired by a comic house for his skills, so he wished to abandon judo. However, BUN recommended him and JING for a promotion test. LEUNG was encouraged by JING so he decided to go for the test. YAN’s parent wanted CHAI to resign from working in the cafe, but CHAI thought that he was insulted and he refused. YAN was touched and stayed on his side. LEUNG gave the encrypted black belt to show JING, which brought back her memory of the belt that she gave to LEUNG. LEUNG practiced very hard, but he failed the test. HE was very depressed. Suddenly he expressed his love to JING and asked her to give him another chance. BUN wanted to resolve the misunderstanding between his mother and SHAN, but he failed. BUN suddenly fell unconscious and admitted to the hospital. The doctor suspected that he had a brain tumor.

CHUNG and JING realized that BUN had brain tumor, and promised that they would go through this difficulty with him. CHING moved to BUN’s apartment, and said that she would marry him. However, BUN showed that he did not care much. BUN went to the hospital for another diagnosis. The doctor told him that he should have the operation sooner, but BUN was worried that the operation would fail, so he refused. JING told LEUNG that she only saw him as a very good friend. After he had told YING to leave, LEUNG realized that she was very important to him. LEUNG won in the comic contest. When he received his prize, he apologized to YING. She was moved. CHI wanted to make up with SHAN again. BUN was assisting their relationship. SHAN was angry. CHUNG could not help but tell SHAN of BUN’s illness.

SHAN asked BUN why he lied to her about his illness. BUN said that he did not want to make it as her burden. SHAN forced BUN to wear the ring, and said that she would stand by him. BUN was moved and decided to go for the operation. CHUNG finally got his black belt. He insisted that he would wear the black belt that JING gave to him. JING was moved, but they were too afraid to express their love to each other. LEUNG challenged BUN for a fight. SHAN was behind BUN all the way. BUN finally defeated LEUNG. CHUNG fought FUNG in the Hong Kong Judo Championship. At last, he defeated FUNG on his strong will to win. The Japanese judo master CHUBUEN invited CHUNG to train in Japan. In order to help CHUNG to fulfill his dream, JING told him that she was playing on his love, so that CHUNG could leave.

CHUNG had the support of everyone, and realized the hope that BUN and JING had on him. He decided to go to Japan to follow the master for the intensive training. One year on, LEUNG became a famous comic artist. JING became a reporter, and YAN’s restaurant had very good business. After the operation, BUN’s left hand was no longer as agile as before, but he was happy playing with his child. CHUNG won the Japan Youth Championship and returned to Hong Kong.
