After a few days Jon and Ponch get the idea to bring Derk and Cora together. And their plan works. Cora and Derk become a couple. Derk allows her to bring all her animals with her.

A series of robberies at drive-in bank windows is frustrating the CHP - especially Jon and Ponch, who unsuccessfully chased the bandit's car three times.
