Expedition Canada The Big Country! Larger than life - that's the best way to describe the world's second biggest country. On Blue Peter's whistle-stop tour, Simon rode the range; Peter scaled the Athabasca Glacier - a moving sheet of ice taller than the Eiffel Tower; and high in the Rocky Mountains Sarah shot the white water rapids of the mighty Thompson River. Expedition Canada: Firefighter Duncan! Beating just one forest fire in Canada takes a team of up to 360 men and women using helicopters, amphibious planes and giant caterpillar tractors for fire-engines. Peter had a narrow escape when he joined the crew trying to control a massive 160,000 acres of charred and blazing timber.

'Lady Sarah Greene' Twenty-five years ago the Queen decreed the end of the Presentation Parties. For nearly 250 years young girls had worn the regulation uniform of long white dress, six-foot train, and three ostrich feathers as they were presented at court and curtsyed to the King and Queen. Sarah goes back in time to 1923 and becomes 'Lady Sarah Greene' as she relives some of the trials and tribulations of 'doing the season'.
