Episode 1

When looking at the CCTV, LONG and LUNG are shocked to find that the dead body of CHUNG LUI suddenly jumps up. Everybody believes that the dead body is haunted by the ghost but LONG believes that this is man-made. LONG goes out to carry out investigation but his team members ask him back for they found that SIU KEUNG’s dead body at the mortuary is dissected unexpectedly. LONG and LUNG believe that both cases are related. CHOI SANG from the Serious Crimes Unit comes to take over the case. He accidentally knocks LONG down. LONG touches the dead body and he suddenly sees weird images… SANG calls LUI’s younger brother CHUNG HON for investigation but he fails to find enough evidence to arrest him. CHING returns to work at the Serious Crimes Unit and she wants to take over KEUNG’s case from SANG. LONG visits the pub where KEUNG used to hang around and he sees weird images again. While LONG is thinking through the images carefully, CHING informs him that the murderer is arrested already. HANG finds that LONG has got a lot of evidence on the case and he asks him to hand over them to the Serious Crimes Unit. All members of D.I.E. pretend to agree with HANG but they continue to carry out investigation secretly. SANG fails to find evidence to prove that TONG has killed KEUNG and TONG claims that he had only dissected KEUNG’s body after his death to release his anger. CHING is happy to return to the D.I.E. but LONG worries that they will have conflicts on work. CHI CHING informs LONG that she will not return during X’mas and LONG worries that her relationship with YEE cannot be maintained. HANG suggests organizing an intensive training for the team, hoping that they will resign during the harsh training. Policewoman PAK CHI reports duty at the D.I.E. and HANG is shocked to see his daughter. HANG brings everybody to a remote location for training. They find a cute cat-shaped stone there so everybody takes pictures with the stone. The village woman Madam FOON warns them that this may harass the Cat Demon. PAK CHI meets her old schoolmate MAN MAN and she learns that MAN’s older brother was killed by the Cat Demon. The village man Silly KEUNG is trying to kill the grocery shop owner CHING SUM with a paper knife and the team feels that this is a strange village.… ...

LUNG investigates the dead body and he believes that this person was killed by animal’s claws. LONG and CHING carry out investigation at SUM’s home. They discover that Silly KEUNG has sneaked into SUM’s home and he has become unconscious after taking many soft drugs. LONG sees some stage images upon touching the soft drugs. He sees a cat’s claw scratching him crazily… FOON reveals that a strange man is staying in the holiday flat and D.I.E. team arrests SHU BONG. LONG questions MAN again about her older brother’s death. He touches the photo of MAN’s brother and he sees some weird images again. LONG and CHING investigate the Cat Stone and they find a black cat hiding behind the stone. They follow the cat to a cave and find broken pieces of clothes that belong to MAN’s brother. They also find a broken claw there. FOON reveals that she has killed SUM. LONG rushes back to the holiday flat and MAN also claims that she is the murderer.… ...

LONG received an email from CHI CHING saying that she wants to separate with YEE. CHING discovers some bruises on her son's body and the couple decides to look after their son at the office. BONG makes a lot of mistakes at work and he is transferred to D.I.E. HANG is very upset about it. KAR TAI WAI confesses to the Serious Crimes Unit that he has killed someone in his dream. KEI believes that he is a psycho so he transfers the case to D.I.E. WAI claims that he will kill people in midnight. BONG and CHI are assigned to monitor him. They plans to leave after midnight but SANG suddenly arrives with his subordinates to arrest WAI for the murder he described had really happened. BONG describes the details of what happened in WAI's home to D.I.E. team and LONG suddenly sees some unusual images in his mind... CHI CHING calls YEE to reveal that she wants a separation and YEE is shocked.

PUI accompanies YEE all the way to console him but YEE accuses her for not telling the truth to him in the first place. D.I.E. team discovers that SIN MAN had just separated with her boyfriend SIU KAN before she died. They try to carry out investigation on KAN but the Serious Crimes Unit had approached him already. KAN claims that he is not the murderer for he was having one-night stand with a sexy lady on that night. CHING makes a bet with HANG that D.I.E. will find out the murderer. In order to save D.I.E. from being terminated, LONG and the team try hard to look for hints. PUI overhears the conversation between LONG and CHING on the murder case. The D.I.E. team tries to find out the reason for the murderer to delay his schedule in killing the person. LONG is inspired by what CHING says... LONG asks everybody to bring all the suspects to D.I.E. so that he could find the real murderer among them. PUI finds that YEE still misses CHI CHING so she encourages him to go to USA to look for her. LONG and CHING fail to find a suitable person to take care of their son. CHING insists that she doesn't want to give up her career. One TV presenter has received threatening letter from somebody and HANG asks LONG to carry out investigation on it. LONG and CHING try to carry out investigation separately in order to win the bet. LONG suggests luring the offender through participating in the TV show "Seconds to Fame". LONG meets his old friend CHOR CHOR at the TV station and they have a chat with each other happily. CHING witnesses the scene and she is jealous. In order to carry out investigation, the members of D.I.E. team become the contestants as well. BONG and SANG fight with each other because of CHI. CHING carries out investigation at the Costume Drama Street and she finds that WING HUNG treats the production crew badly. WING HUNG reveals to CHING that she doesn't know HIM well. FUNG and MEI WAN discover that KUEN and FEI have a habit of keeping newspaper clippings. They therefore suspect that they are the offenders. LUNG discovers that HUNG is killed by poison. The police question KILDOORIE but he denies that he has sent out the threatening letter. LONG provides evidence and KILDOORIE finally admits that he has sent out one threatening letter but he didn’t killed HUNG. CHING asks LONG to use his supernatural powers to find hints. LONG sees two butterflies flying out from the grave. Since BONG has overheard HEI’s conversation with HUNG, he believes that HEI is suspicious. LONG and CHING carry out investigation on HEI. HEI finally admits that he is HUNG’s lover. LONG believes that he has found the murderer and he creates a trap for him to walk into it… The deadline set by HANG has come but LONG and CHING fail to find someone to take care of their son. They meet CHOR there and they are worried for CHOR has got lots of bruises on her face. YEE gives his home key to PUI and asks her to take good care of LAN. PUI misconceives that YEE loves her. YING is chased by both the police and the gangsters. He has nowhere to go so he comes to CHING for help. CHING brings him back to D.I.E. CHOI SANG suddenly arrives for he wants to arrest YING. YING misconceives that CHING has betrayed her. LONG and CHING discover that the murderer has used fruit to kill the victims in both cases. They later realize the secret behind. Everybody believes that UNICORN has killed the victim in order to steal their goods so they go to arrest him. YEE wants to kill himself so he rushes into the place recklessly… PUI brings YEE to the pub and she is harassed by a stranger. HANG announces that somebody has to be laid off in D.I.E. and he asks them to cast a vote. CHING knows how LONG feels and she invites him for a dinner. LONG is relieved to find that FAI takes good care of CHOR. PUI hopes to develop a relationship with YEE but YEE reveals that he only treats her as a friend. YEE learns from the TV news that somebody is captured by robbers. He rushes to the location and is injured by gunshots… MEI misconceives that YEE commits suicide because of CHI CHING. YEE reveals to her that he has got cancer. PUI finds that MEI and YEE are acting intimately and she misconceives that they are developing a relationship secretly. LOK BUN attends a meeting on behalf of YAN’s company and he criticizes FAI’s idea cruelly. CHOR wants LONG to console FAI for her so she invites him home for dinner. Upon arriving, LONG finds that CHOR and FAI are quarrelling with each other…

After reading some images by using his supernatural power, LONG believes that somebody has murdered FAI. In order to soothe CHOR’s pain, LONG asks her to stay in MEI’s home temporarily. CHOR reveals to LONG that FAI had quarreled with BUN before. PONG finds that CHI and HANG are getting close to each other. He suspects that HANG forces CHI to become his lover. PONG and SANG find that HANG is bringing CHI to a building with hourly hotel. They join hand together to scold HANG. TUNG discovers a burnt lottery ticket at the crime location and this ticket has won a 20-million-dollar prize. YEE and PONG discover that FAI bought the lottery ticket with WONG TUNG from the CCTV. TUNG therefore becomes the main suspect. PONG finds that YEE is still investigating the case of HANG being attacked and he decides to reveal the truth to him.… ...

CHING and LONG go to the beach and recall their happy memories with SIU YEE. Everybody in D.I.E. try to persuade HANG to ask YEE back but HANG refuses to do so. LONG and CHING learn from LAN that YEE is dating with MEI. MEI doesn’t want people to misunderstand them so she reveals that YEE has got cancer. LAU TAN comes to D.I.E. to take revenge on HANG for HANG has ruined his plan of robbing a shop before. YEE risks his life to save HANG… Everybody celebrates with YEE in the pub. MEI WAN is jealous to find that LUNG is dancing intimately with ON TUNG. PUI, WAN and CHING visit a famous fortuneteller SO PIK together. CHING asks if she can meet up with SIU YEE again and PIK casually tells her to look for SIU YEE at the eastern side. CHING and LONG are surprised to meet SIU YEE in the taxi…

PIK looks like SIU YEE very much. LONG and CHING believe that she is actually SIU YEE. PIK fails to predict the future of one customer correctly and that customer comes to take revenge. PIK runs away and LONG asks her to stay in MEI’s home temporarily. CHI’s birthday is coming and HANG sends her a credit card as birthday gift. PONG and SANG find it unbearable and they push HANG to the swimming pool… CHI FUNG goes to the dance studio to watch the rehearsal of the female artist he manages. He discovers that PUI has got talents and he develops a good impression on her. MEI takes up the leading actress role of a movie on behalf of JOJO. However, CHI FUNG suddenly reveals that the investor wants another actress COOKIE to be the leading actress. COOKIE’s agent SHAN asks PIK to help improve COOKIE’s fortune. MEI and PIK force LONG to touch COOKIE’s clothes. LONG sees strange images again. D.I.E. carries out investigation and they find from the CCTV that COOKIE had not returned to her apartment. They therefore wonder how COOKIE could fall down from her apartment. HANG speaks for his team bravely during a meeting with KEI and LONG admires him very much. PONG returns to COOKIE’s apartment for investigation and he meets a UFO fan there. The person reveals that he saw an UFO there on the night when COOKIE died. PIK agrees to help figuring out the truth behind COOKIE’s death in a TV programme and she tells everybody the information she got from LONG. LONG finally realizes that PIK is not SIU YEE and he kicks her out. After leaving LONG, PIK receives a threatening SMS and she rushes back to LONG for help. From what PIK tells him, LONG discovers how the murderer killed COOKIE…

PIK is attacked by the murderer who killed COOKIE and YEE rescues her. LONG successfully catches the murderer. PIK decides to start anew and study hard. She also decides to visit her father’s grave in her hometown. HANG seeks approval for qualifying D.I.E. as a standard police team and everyone is overjoyed. The team tries to investigate old cases randomly and they carry out investigation on the mysterious death of a super star SHUM TAN. FUNG suggests PUI to become the leading actress and he wants her to join the contest of “Dancing Legend”. PUI wants to keep it as a secret in front of CHING and she asks YEE to help her. CHING learns that PUI will join the dance contest and she objects it. LONG brings CHING to PUI’s performance for he wants CHING to support PUI’s dream. While watching PUI’s dance, FUNG seems to see his ex-girlfriend WAI and he starts to develop feelings on PUI.… ...

LONG fails to understand what the images in his mind means but SIU FUNG discovers the meaning with ease. FUNG starts to like PUI and he sends her hand-made necklace. Somebody put broken glasses in PUI’s shoes and PUI is injured. LONG and YEE find that PUI is wearing a new necklace. They discover that FUNG is the one who gave PUI the necklace so they question FUNG. LONG suspects that the one who threatened PUI and killed TAN is the same person. He carelessly discovers that SHAN is FUNG’s university schoolmates and SHAN loves FUNG secretly.… ...

LONG tells CHING about his dream and CHING doesn’t take it seriously. FUNG’s sweat is found in the threatening letter. SIU FUNG also discovers that FUNG’s car appeared in the crime scene when TAN died. While FUNG stays at home, a mysterious person suddenly appears… YEE stays with PUI all the time to protect her. After asking YEE to buy food for her, PUI suddenly disappears. YEE rushes to MEI’s home but PUI is not there. CHING rushes to FUNG’s home to look for PUI but she fails to find her. LONG is inspired by TUNG’s words and he realizes who is the murderer. PUI survives and YEE brings her to an exhibition. YEE reveals his love to PUI and PUI is deeply touched. CHING meets somebody who looks exactly like YAN HEUNG WING and she is shocked.

CHING meets HEUNG WAH again outside the hospital and she points her gun towards him immediately but HEUNG WAH says that he only comes to collect medicine for his father. YEE meets WAH and he asks WAH to visit SZE NGA. YEE feels relieved for WAH no longer put him on his guard. FU suddenly dies in the temple. The Serious Crimes Unit tries to look for information from WAH and BUN. CHING asks LONG to investigate the case by his supernatural power. LONG sees a charm-like object with magic writing in his mind. LONG investigates the case with CHI and PONG secretly without involving CHING. LONG asks CHI to persuade SANG to question BUN again and he tries to examine their conversation. LONG questions WAH and he reveals that he had received a call from FU's family doctor before FU died. After leaving YAN's home, LONG is suddenly knocked down by a car.

LONG wakes up and he is shocked to find that his spirit has come out of the body. He knows that PIK is able to hear his voice so he rushes to MEI's home to look for her. CHING goes to YAN's home to question WAH. NGA suddenly turns mad and attacks CHING. WAH is injured while trying to protect CHING. LONG finally succeeds in talking to PIK. PIK helps LONG meet up with CHING again. HEUNG KWONG asks BUN to visit him in the jail and he wants BUN to help manage FU's funeral. With the help of WAH, he will be released on bail to attend FU's funeral. KWONG requests to stay alone with FU's dead body for a while. Later, D.I.E. found KWONG has died in a coffin. SANG rushes to the scene to question the suspects but he suffers from hay fever suddenly and is being sent to the hospital. After investigating KWONG's dead body, LUNG discovers that he was not died from suffocation.… ...

LONG goes into Big Mouth Ying's body accidentally and he uses his supernatural power again to find hints. WAH invites YEE to YAN's home and he suspects that NGA had killed KWONG as a revenge for HEUNG WING. LONG gets inspiration from PUI's gift and he asks CHING to investigate the materials left by KWONG. SANG suddenly arrives to take away all the crime related materials and he plans to arrest NGA. After going into YING's body, LONG is increasingly influenced by him. In order to rescue LONG, PONG designs a "spirit shifting machine"... CHING suddenly receives a call from PUI while LONG is passing through his critical moment. She rushes to help her but never return. LONG worries about CHING very much so he asks PIK to find another body for him to enter. LONG accidentally enters YEE's body and he decides to visit YAN's family with him...

WAH captures YEE and locks him in a room. He wants YEE to take out a package of video from a container with snakes. This video justifies that NGA is innocent... WAH goes into another room and asks CHING to cut YING's belly in order to take out the key to rescue them from the room with toxic gas… WAH hangs both YEE and CHING. He wants them to fight with each other. LONG reveals to CHING that his spirit is inside YEE’s body… PONG receives a call from the hospital saying that LONG’s condition is getting worse… WAH is upset that CHING and YEE keep guessing the answers to his questions correctly. He requests them to try stopping the bomb from explosion. They can choose to cut one wire out of two. If they choose a wrong wire, the bomb will explode… LONG finds a way to tackle the problem but his spirit is suddenly pulled away by a strong force and he fails to tell CHING the solution. LONG wakes up and asks everybody to rescue CHING.… ...
