CHLOE and KWONG are in the same team during the training. KWONG is not serious and affects CHLOE’s performance. KWONG and CHLOE’s performance are bad. KWONG has become very positive and aggressive since TUNG scolded him. CHLOE fears TUNG terribly and her fear affects her performance. KWONG knew about CHLOE’s problem. He asks WU to help CHLOE. CHLOE visits the grave and meets KWONG and his family. CHOLE finds out that KWONG’s position at home is not as good as she thought. CHOLE eventually overcame her phobia with KWONG’s help. CHUNG and CHING rent a flat from their friend, MARY. They always meet at this flat. CHUNG felt very guilty and tries his best to hide their relation. However, CHING always wants to disclose their relationship. CHUNG is in a dilemma. CHOLE is very nervous before the examination. She again cannot perform well. Fortunately, CHOLE takes the examination smoothly with KWONG’s encouragement.

TUNG and CHING go to the music farm. They meet CHUNG and KIT. CHING consoles CHUNG who had hurt in a car accident. CHING gives a gift to CHUNG secretly to celebrate their anniversary. KWONG and CHLOE pass the test and are admitted to the PND team. TSUEN likes CHLOE. CHLOE does not know how to handle the situation. She seeks advice from KWONG. KWONG and CHLOE pretend to be lovers. TSUEN suffers a great blow and intends to commit suicide again. CHLOE and KWONG talk with TSUEN and persuade him not to make use of committing suicide to attract other’s attention. KIT knows that CHUNG has made booking in a restaurant ordering set dinner tailor-made for lovers. KIT deliberately perks up. However, CHUNG lies that he is busy at work. KIT is disappointed. Later, KIT discovers a receipt issued by that particular restaurant. She suspects CHUNG. One day, CHUNG and KIT pass by a petrol station. The staff thinks that KIT is another woman.… ...

KIT suspects CHLOE. She tries to test CHLOE but in vain. Later, KIT discovers that CHUNG had hidden many lover letters. One day, KIT follows CHUNG. She witnesses that CHUNG is very intimate with a woman. Her beeper is on when KIT wants to confront CHUNG. KIT leaves for work reluctantly. KIT tells CHING that CHUNG has had an affair. CHING comforts KIT. CHUNG did not know that KIT suspects him, he still treats KIT as his beloved wife. KIT avoids CHUNG. TSUEN receives his salary the first time. He spends a lot to buy groceries for his uncle, aunt and cousin. He even gives her aunt all his salary. However, his aunt complains there is not enough. KWONG gives away one thousand dollars so as to help TSUEN. CHLOE changes her impression on KWONG. KWONG and CHLOE succeed in negotiating and persuading a kidnapper to surrender. They earn great applause.

CHING intends to leave TUNG and stay with CHUNG. However, CHUNG is reluctant to leave KIT and refuses CHING. KIT scolds TUNG when she learnt that TUNG did know about CHUNG’s affair. However, TUNG blames KIT instead and even asks her to retrospect herself. CHUNG eventually admits that he does have an affair and begs KIT to forgive him. KIT forgives him. CHUNG proposes to break up with CHING. CHING cannot accept the fact. She begs CHUNG to keep status quo. CHUNG refuses. KIT is happy to see that CHUNG has returned to her, she takes leave to go for vacation with CHUNG. KIT again witnesses CHUNG is very intimate with a woman and this woman is CHING. KIT is collapsed and cannot concentrate in her work. She even absents from the action. TUNG asks KIT why she absented from an operation. KIT does not want to tell TUNG the cruel truth. She only advises TUNG not to neglect his family. KWONG and CHLOE again earn merits in an operation.… ...

CHUNG begs KIT to forgive him. KIT is determined to divorce him. CHUNG is shocked to receive the letter of separation issued by KIT’s appointed lawyer. CHUNG burns by some boiling soup in the canteen carelessly and is sent to the hospital. TUNG asks KIT about her relationship with CHUNG. KIT asks TUNG to check with CHING irrationally. CHING hurries to the hospital ignoring TUNG’s interrogation when she heard that CHUNG was hurt. TUNG asks CHING to take care CHUNG. CHING and CHUNG decide to leave Hong Kong. CHUNG resigns. All are gossiping about CHUNG’s resignation in the police station. CHING leaves a message to TUNG and packs her belonging. TUNG returns home and got CHING’s message. CHING claims that TUNG only concerns about his work and always neglects her. TUNG goes to see KIT. KIT tells him about CHUNG and CHING’s affair. TUNG suffers a great blow.

KIT concentrates at her work again. WU has a business trip. KWONG gives WU a ride to the airport. He even asks WU to pass a gift to his first love, ADA. TUNG knows that CHING and CHUNG are going to leave Hong Kong. He goes to the airport to see them. TUNG beats CHUNG. CHING protects CHUNG and admits that she does love CHUNG. TUNG is heart-broken. KWONG witnesses the scene. TUNG warns KWONG to keep his mouth shut. TUNG is so upset that he vents his anger to his family member. TUNG’s younger sister, BO and his elder brother, FU are his targets. TUNG concentrates at his work. He orders his subordinates, SHEK, KEUNG, LUN and CHOW to clear all outstanding cases as soon as possible. All are sick of him. TUNG and CHING’s divorce case soon spread all over the police station. TUNG thinks that it was KWONG’s bad deed. KWONG shares his negotiation experience with the PND members. He even shares his experience on his website.

A magazine reporter is going to interview the PND. TUNG warns his team to be cautious and not to leak out any sensitive information regarding their negotiations. The reporter JOE is very interested in KWONG’s first successful case. He keeps on questioning KWONG the details. Unexpectedly, JOE finds a confidential document after the interview. TUNG blames KWONG who must have disclosed sensitive information. KWONG finds himself very innocent and proposes to resign his post in the PND. CHLOE watns to help KWONG wipe away his disgrace and goes to see the reporter. JOE admits that he had picked the confidential document accidentally and it was not KWONG who disclosed the information to him. TUNG knows that he has blamed KWONG wrongly and persuades KWONG to stay sincerely. However, KWONG does not move at all. CHLOE has blossomed a good impression on KWONG. She goes everywhere to search for KWONG’s favorite badge.… ...

A customer, HO MEI KAO, always visits Fok Kee restaurant. Although KAO is a married woman, she always tries to seduce FU. CHLOE gives her home-made lunch box to her colleague, BING, so as to have lunch with KWONG. CHLOE even excuses to go to Ocean Park with TSUEN. In fact, she intends to invite KWONG to join them. WU tells KWONG that ADA is going to get married very soon. KWONG is very depressed. TUNG persuades KWONG to resume his duty in the PND meeting. KWONG refuses. TUNG immediately bets with KWONG playing a darting game and decides whether he will stay or not. Consequently, KWONG loses. He keeps his promise and stays in the PND team. TUNG intends to send BO to study abroad after her graduation. BO is reluctant to study overseas. FU and KAO has had an affair. KAO’s husband, CHOW CHI SHEUNG, learnt about their affair and bursts into Fok Kee Restaurant with a knife. He intends to chop FU and kidnaps BO.… ...

KWONG persuades SHEUNG successfully. FU is sent to the hospital. LAI scolds FU and leaves him. TUNG pretends to be very strong. In fact, he has not yet recovered from his divorce case. TUNG drowns care in wine and is drunk in the street. KWONG passes by and sends TUNG home. KWONG invites CHLOE to a concrete. CHLOE perks up herself for her date with KWONG. However, KWONG receives a call from ADA before he set off. KWONG asks WU to have dinner with CHLOE on behalf of him. KWONG intends to court CHLOE, however, he still misses ADA a lot. He does dare not to further develop with CHLOE. KWONG tells CHLOE that he only regards her as his sister. CHLOE suffers a great blow and is very upset. Her mum and sisters, YUK, HEI & OI comfort CHLOE. OI even encourages CHLOE to face KWONG and not to feel embarrassed. TUNG’s mother, HAN, informs TUNG that BO has disappeared.

KWONG gradually accepts TUNG’s way of handling cases. He even speaks good words for TUNG in front of LUNG. BO runs away as she is reluctant to study abroad. KWONG meets BO at the pier and misunderstands that she attempts to commit suicide. KWONG arranges TUNG and BO to discuss BO’s future. BO wants to become a policewoman. TUNG objects. KWONG criticizes TUNG. TUNG eventually allows to let BO try. TUNG is enlightened by KWONG and has changed his impression on KWONG. ADA will return to Hong Kong soon. KWONG helps ADA to look for an apartment. BING learns about the case and spreads the news to all departments. TSUEN is very depressed as his colleagues at the social centre thought that he had stolen some tissue paper. Later, MAY and FUNG even accuse TSUEN stealing money. MAY and KUEN intend to move out. MAY suggests TSUEN to leave. TUSEN suffers a great blow when he learnt about their plan. He sits at the roof-top in a mood.

CHLOE and KWONG arrive at the spot and are shocked to see that TSUEN is attempting to commit suicide. They succeed to persuade TSUEN. Unexpectedly, TUSEN falls down from the top carelessly when he intends to step down. KWONG and CHLOE suffer a great blow with TSUEN’s death. KWONG could overcome the pressure and relieve his tension, however, CHLOE cannot face the reality and collapses. KIT knows that CHLOE is in a very serious condition and convinces her to receive psychological treatment. CHLOE refuses to receive treatment. TUNG investigates a rape case. SHEK, KEUNG, LUN and CHOW work very hard to get some clues. CHOW insists to work although he is very sick. He dares not to take a day off. KIT warns TUNG to care more about his staff. KIT is sick and learns that she is pregnant for CHUNG. She is in a dilemma. KIT intends to take abortion as she does not want her baby growing up in a single-parent family.… ...

KIT comes across a case with a pregnant woman, FONG, who has not yet married and attempts to commit suicide. KIT makes FONG understand that the child is innocent and tells her that how anxious she was as she is also pregnant. FONG is moved. KIT decides to keep the baby. CHLOE cannot accept TSUEN’s death and proposes to suspend her duty in PND. KWONG brings CHLOE to see WU. However, CHLOE resists WU’s treatment as she has suffered a great blow. WU changes the approach to treat CHLOE. He helps CHLOE to release her pressure and emotion. KIT goes to the hospital for an inspection. She sees FONG’s father who is quarrelling with FONG’s boyfriend, WING. KIT then learns that FONG is a victim in a rape case and WING has abandoned her. KIT encourages FONG to report to the police so as to have the rapist restrained by law. The newspaper keeps on reporting KIT’s single-parent status in a very negative way.… ...

FONG had been indecently assaulted by the swimming trainer. TUNG and his colleagues, CHOW, suspect this trainer and go to the swimming club to investigate him. Meanwhile, LEUNG goes to the swimming club to see his lover, WU TAK MING. He is shocked to see TUNG and hides away. He fears that TUNG will know about his love affair with MING. SHEK discovers that KONG WING KIN is crazy for photography and has video-taped a promotion trailer for the swimming club. He suspects KIN who was involved in the rape case. KWONG expects ADA’s return. Unexpectedly, he heard that ADA cancels her trip to Hong Kong. KWONG is very disappointed. SHEK and his colleagues follow KIN. They observe that KIN is fond of taking pictures for young ladies. TUNG asks FONG to be the enticement. KIN falls into their trap when he saw FONG. He attempts to rape FONG again.
