Zone Stad Season 6, Episode 6: Kruisweg

Angel Tears

Two teenagers find a substantial amount of drugs and decide to sell it in clubs. They do not know that drugs are part of a criminal transaction. The drug lord wants his wares back and opens the hunt for the teens. Soon there is a victim. Tom Segers and Fien Bosvoorde make an investigation. Meanwhile, there comes an alarming message at the office of Zone Stad. An unknown reports that he will commit suicide on the roof across the Oudaan.

De Aanslag

The office of Zone Stad has been shot. A young agent was hit with serious injuries and is taken to the hospital. Was the student himself the target or was he at a bad time in the bad place? Tom Segers and Fien Bosvoorde want to find out and with their research the discover a web of prostitution and weapons. Meanwhile, a second attack follows.

Left Side Army

In broad daylight a gun shop gets robbed. The perpetrators shoot the owner and steal a whole arsenal of weapons. The team of Zone Stad starts an investigation that brings them in the kick boxing environment. The sportive agent Mike Van Peel will infiltrate to solve the case.

Vuur/water

A young man shoots on fire when he wants to light his cigarette. He dies of his injuries. If it appears that the victim was a fireman and later a fellow female firefighter is severely beaten, it is clear that it is not a coincidence. Tom Segers and Fien Bosvoorde start their search for the culprit in the fire station.

Rube Goldberg

The famous architect and collector Johan De Bruyn is murdered with his own crossbow. It looks like a failed burglary. Tom Segers and Fien Bosvoorde leave this track when they find out that the wife of De Bruyn was cheating on him. The inspectors decide to sow discord between the lovers to solve the case.

Courier firm driver Mario De Sutter died, apparently after loosing control of his vehicle. He has a bad record and a dodgy partner, fellow ex-con Luc Kemseke, his former robbery cahoot. Tom ignores his suspension until Dani overrules Lucas by converting it into psychiatric therapy with Dr. Inge Daems. The team soon finds each firm partner has been transporting a corps, however apparently not murdered, but secretly destined for surgeon Somers, who was fired for prescription trade from the hospital where Kemseke was a mortuary employee. Bart Decorte's wife Anne (35) is found knocked down with a golf-club while apprehending a nightly burglar and fatally strangled, however in the home of her divorced lover Rik Beernaert, whose daughter Merel ends up making a weird confession.

Fashion

Antwerp fashion designer David Lemmens is fatally stabbed with scissors by a masked nightly intruder, who also vandalized colleague Jonas Vandevelde's collection in textile manufacturer Walter de Loneville's postgraduates institute's workshop. Jonas may have been the actual target, perhaps for scorned gay lover and sugar daddy Koen Deweerdt, who reveals David accused Jonas of stealing from his designs. Tom suspects Maarten De Ryck of the basement murder on a women looking alike Fien, she stands by her lover, who has an alibi. Plumber Patrick Libotte, Maarten wildest fan, makes a confession Fien chooses to believe, Lucas and Tom see trough. Tom hires Ruige to help investigate his father's death in the 1970s. Jimmy is finally recovered enough to return to duty, but feels guilty having developed his own substance problem.

Vriend of Vijand

Violent gang leader Dimitri Alva is sprung from return back to jail after his appeal failed. After murdering front construction firm accomplice Petrus Thijssen, he concentrates on revenging his pa's death during a fight with Tom, who meanwhile continues digging into his own abusive lush pa's death. Mike saves Tom's life when trapped by a tip trough Ruige Ronnie. Commissioner Neefs can't get the team to leave things to the feds, even gets actively involved. Mike faces a dilemma when his lover's adolescent son Stijn in kidnapped to blackmail him.

Privé

Informer Ruige calls a marker when he finds his sister raped and beaten into Intensive Care. As a harlot, her shady life is riddled with potential suspects. furthermore, the building includes some suspicious characters and was repeatedly robbed. Commissioner Neefs fails to cover up Fien's influential pa Jean-Yves Bosvoorde is the prime suspect, as she provides DNA test material, yet keeps trying to prove him innocent. Tom's memory is finally triggered concerning child-abuse by his lush dad Ray and the brute's traumatic end.
