Stacey and Lee head down to college early to try out Stacey's beauty therapy experiment. Nicole gets Russell to clean her room in return for her typing up an essay for him.

The HCC drama society's attempt to put on a production of Romeo and Juliet is fast becoming a tragedy in its own right. Darlene is angry at Justin's ungrateful and surly attitude. It's Darlene's birthday and her family are intent on giving her a surprise birthday party. Lee decides to take a trip to the Body Boost pool for a "cardio vascular workout", or "looking at the talent" as Stacey would call it. Nicole has convinced her mum to give her £1,000 from her savings fund. Craig's mum seems to be much more enthusiastic about his "date" with Darlene than he is.
