Episode 1

Formerly working at the Police Public Relations Bureau, YEUNG TSIK-SUET is a famous TV presenter. Her boyfriend YUEN KAM-CHEONG is an inspector in the police force. TSIK-SUET interviews a listed company's CEO CHUNG CHI-KEI and CHI-KEI discovers that she is his childhood friend from the orphanage. TSIK-SUET tells KAM-CHEONG that she has met her old friend and she shows him her childhood photo album. KAM-CHEONG jokes that he has got a rival in love. KAM-CHEONG's subordinate BUGLEWEED's dead body is found at the rocky beach. His colleague NOTOGINSENG is also missing after following a suspicious Thai. TSIK-SUET learns that KAM-CHEONG is carrying out investigation on CHI-KEI. KAM-CHEONG reminds her to be careful of CHI-KEI and they end up in discord. KAM-CHEONG invites TSIK-SUET to play outdoor shooting together. He proposes to her and TSIK-SUET agrees to marry him. TSIK-SUET interviews CHI-KEI again.… ...

During a hearing, BAO ZHENG discovers a scholar HON SHEUNG-SHEUNG who looks exactly the same as TSIK-SUET. He misconceives that TSIK-SUET has traveled all the way to Sung Dynasty just like him and he tries to hug her. SHEUNG-SHEUNG believes that he is trying to harass her sexually and she slaps him on his face. BAO ZHENG tells Advisor GONGSUN that he comes from the future and Advisor GONGSUN is suspicious. BAO ZHENG therefore tells him something in the future such as OUYANG XIU will be demoted. SHEUNG-SHEUNG sneaks into the place at night. She discovers BAO ZHENG acting frivolously and she believes that he is a fake one. During the hearing of the case of Basin, SHEUNG-SHEUNG arrives with her student Princess QINGZHOU. In order to help SHEUNG-SHEUNG in the court, Princess QINGZHOU disguises herself as a man.… ...

SHEUNG-SHEUNG falls into the river accidentally. BAO ZHENG rescues her by performing first aid of the modern world and SHEUNG-SHEUNG misconceives that he is sexually harassing her. SHEUNG-SHEUNG and JIAN offer sacrifice to the ancestors of GAO's family together. SHEUNG-SHEUNG is promoted to her current position because of the teachings of JIAN's father and she treats JIAN's father as her benefactor. The emperor asks JIAN and BAO ZHENG to visit him. The princess is suffering from backache. BAO ZHENG learns that SHEUNG-SHEUNG has been sleepless while trying to find a method to cure her backache. He therefore asks people to make a spring mattress. BAO ZHENG and SHEUNG-SHEUNG go to Au Yeung Town together to investigate the Dragon Smoke. The villagers say that they saw meteorite at night. BAO ZHENG and SHEUNG-SHEUNG carry out investigation at the hill and they lose their way at night.… ...

JIAN suggests carrying out investigation at Lady YIN's place. HONG Goong Goong discovers a straw doll with the prince's name and birth time written on it. Lady YIN is captured and sent to the prison. SHEUNG-SHEUNG finds it suspicious and the emperor asks BAO ZHENG to investigate the case. BAO ZHENG questions Lady YIN. JIAN says that Lady YIN has strong motive to kill the prince and he asks BAO ZHENG to kill her. The princess forces ZHAN ZHAO to create some evidence of Lady YIN being framed but she is not skillful enough and the emperor discovers her. HONG Goong Goong suddenly says that the guard KEUNG was committing adultery with Lady YIN. The emperor wants to kill both of them but BAO ZHENG and SHEUNG-SHEUNG request to carry out investigation on the case. BAO ZHENG fails to find the emperor and he believes that JIAN has been playing tricks. He asks SHEUNG-SHEUNG to bring the second prince out to meet up with Lady YIN.… ...

Episode 5

The emperor sees the ghost of the prince at night. On the next day, JIAN reports that the emperor may have a son in a village and he will go to Chuk Chi Mountain to carry out investigation. The emperor asks BAO ZHENG and SHEUNG-SHEUNG to go with him. The three of them arrive at a little house on Chuk Chi Mountain and they discover the woodcutter LANG CHING. SHEUNG-SHEUNG recognizes that this person is the strange person she met before. LANG CHING reveals that his mother was a palace maid called HON TAN. The emperor checks out the bellyband from LANG CHING and he confirms that the bellyband was from him. BAO ZHENG reminds that so many coincidences is abnormal. The emperor picks up LANG CHING and announces to everybody that he is the prince. He gives LANG CHING a new name ZHAO CHING. The emperor tries to thank JIAN by appointing him as the State Teacher. BAO ZHENG wonders if JIAN has any special relationship with LANG CHING.… ...

When BAO ZHENG questions ZHAO CHING, JIAN suddenly arrives to bring ZHAO CHING away by saying that ZHAO CHING is possessed. BAO ZHENG is inspired and he rushes to the Rolls Archive but it is on fire. All the in and out records of the palace maids are destroyed. BAO ZHENG believes that the next target will be LANG CHING and his mother's old house. He rushes to Mui Fa Village but the village is sealed for some villagers are suffering from smallpox. ZHAN ZHAO says that smallpox is an incurable disease. BAO ZHENG believes that some of the villagers are not infected and he decides to save them. SHEUNG-SHEUNG sends medicine to Mui Fa Village and JIAN stops her. SHEUNG-SHEUNG asks BAO ZHENG why he is not afraid of getting infected. BAO ZHENG replies that he has got vaccination already. Lady DE chases after a kid and calls her son's name. The princess and ZHAN ZHAO arrive. Lady DE suddenly abducts the princess.… ...

BAO ZHENG knows that SHEUNG-SHEUNG doesn't like JIAN and he tries to help her. JIAN asks why SHEUNG-SHEUNG refused to marry him and SHEUNG-SHEUNG says that she still has doubts of her past. JIAN assures her that he will help her to find her mother. During the wedding ceremony of JIAN and SHEUNG-SHEUNG, BAO ZHENG suddenly arrives and says that SHEUNG-SHEUNG is JIAN's younger sister for she is the illegitimate daughter of JIAN's father. He says that they cannot get married and he suggests carrying out a blood test. The princess knows that SHEUNG-SHEUNG will be embarrassed to live with JIAN and she invites her to live together in the palace. BAO ZHENG reveals to SHEUNG-SHEUNG that the eight cases including meteorite rain and walking on water are very similar. He believes that ZHAO CHING is the key person behind all the cases.… ...

ZHAN ZHAO rushes into the fire to rescue the unconscious BAO ZHENG. SHEUNG-SHEUNG performs first aid for him. BAO ZHENG asks ZHANG LONG and ZHAO HU to carry out investigation at Lady DE's room but they find nothing. ZHAO CHING feels that he is trapped in the palace and he asks JIAN when can they end everything. JIAN reveals that they are only safe when ZHAO CHING becomes the crown prince. However, Lady SHU is pregnant and he wants him to give birth to a daughter. BAO ZHENG accompanies Advisor GONGSUN to drink. Advisor GONGSUN takes out a sachet from his grandson but he collapses immediately after smelling it. BAO ZHENG sends SHEUNG-SHEUNG eleven flowers and asks if SHEUNG-SHEUNG will let him take care of her for a lifetime. BAO ZHENG sends the matchmaker to SHEUNG-SHEUNG and SHEUNG-SHEUNG begs JIAN to agree to their marriage. JIAN tells SHEUNG-SHEUNG that BAO ZHENG has been playing trick on the blood test.… ...

Advisor GONGSUN smells the sachet before going to the court and he starts to have illusions. BAO ZHENG believes that somebody has put certain hallucinogenic powder into the sachet and he believes that Lady DE was behaving abnormally because of it as well. The princess sends SHEUNG-SHEUNG back to JIAN's place and SHEUNG-SHEUNG takes away her jade pendant. SHEUNG-SHEUNG asks ZHAN ZHAO to give the jade pendant to the princess. ZHAN ZHAO sneaks into the palace at night and the palace maid discovers him. The new chef Auntie LAM at JIAN's place keeps looking at SHEUNG-SHEUNG secretly. JIAN threatens SHEUNG-SHEUNG that he will harm the people around BAO ZHENG so as to kick BAO ZHENG away. Advisor GONGSUN is hurt by a falling rice bag. SHEUNG-SHEUNG knows that it was done by JIAN and JIAN doesn't deny it. He reveals that he will take quick action to eliminate BAO ZHENG. Auntie LAM meets ZHAO CHING and she is frightened.… ...

HON TAN reveals in the court that she was a palace maid. LANG CHING and his mother were harming her in the past. LANG CHING fights against her by showing everybody the bellyband. HON TAN says that LANG CHING's bellyband is fake. BAO ZHENG tries to investigate it but JIAN suddenly arrives to stop him. HON TAN admits her sin and the emperor decides to kill her. However, BAO ZHENG says that she is a victim also and he requests to carry out further investigation. BAO ZHENG invites SHEUNG-SHEUNG to meet up. JIAN asks SHEUNG-SHEUNG to put a doll in BAO ZHENG's study room so as to harm him. BAO ZHENG reveals that HON TAN's case is suspicious and he asks SHEUNG-SHEUNG to help carrying out investigation. BAO ZHENG and SHEUNG-SHEUNG try to look for the witness CAI Goong Goony but he is killed already and everybody in Mui Fa Village are killed as well.… ...

HON TAN reveals to SHEUNG-SHEUNG why she could not take care of her before. SHEUNG-SHEUNG reveals that JIAN has been threatening her. BAO ZHENG worries about SHEUNG-SHEUNG but SHEUNG-SHEUNG decides to stay in JIAN's place to collect evidences. The princess and ZHAO CHING drink together. She hopes that ZHAO CHING will reveal his real identity after getting drunk. Pretending that he is drunk, ZHAO CHING tries to molest the princess but ZHAN ZHAO rescues her on time. JIAN suggests appointing the crown prince as soon as possible. The emperor seeks comments from BAO ZHENG and BAO ZHENG supports the idea. BAO ZHENG suspects that JIAN is producing a special drug and SHEUNG-SHEUNG says that the GAO's family has got a drug making plant in the countryside. Madam TSUI is an important witness of the leopard cat case and BAO ZHENG decides to protect her but she is killed already. A baby is discovered inside the well in front of Madam TSUI's house.… ...

BAO ZHENG asks ZHAO CHING to swear in front of HON TAN's tablet and HON TAN's ghost suddenly appears. ZHAO CHING is frightened and JIAN tries to throw something at HON TAN. The emperor questions LANG CHING and HONG Goong Goong. HONG Goong Goong reveals that BAO ZHENG is the one behind the scene. BAO ZHENG, LANG CHING and HONG Goong Goong are sent to the jail. Before the sentence, Advisor GONGSUN sends food to BAO ZHENG and he reveals that they will make a mess at the execution ground. During the critical moment, SHEUNG-SHEUNG suddenly arrives and reveals that she is the real murderer behind the scene. The emperor asks BAO ZHENG to carry out investigation on it. BAO ZHENG is bitten by a centipede at HON TAN's grave. Advisor GONGSUN suspects that it is a highly poisonous centipede from the west. Together with ZHAN ZHAO, he visits SHEUNG-SHEUNG at the prison to seek her advice.… ...

BAO ZHENG questions SHEUNG-SHEUNG at the court and SHEUNG-SHEUNG admits all the sins. She requests to burn incense for her deceased mother before sentence. After burning the incense, SHEUNG-SHEUNG reveals to everybody that JIAN has killed all the people with poisonous drugs and the incense is poisonous as well. JIAN feels very painful and he vomits blood. He reveals the truth to the emperor finally. SHEUNG-SHEUNG is killed and BAO ZHENG suddenly has an out-of-body experience. His soul travels to the time during 1950s - 1960s in Hong Kong. KAM-CHEONG discovers a woman who looks exactly like TSIK-SUET and SHEUNG-SHEUNG. She is being chased by a man and she is TIN TSAU-FUNG, the wife of Fook Lung Gang's leader. KAM-CHEONG tries to rescue TSAU-FUNG and he meets the policeman YUEN KWAI who is riding a motorbike to pick up his supervisor YU TUNG-PO.… ...

LUNG-BIU listens to a news broadcast about Sung Wong Toi from the radio and he believes that Sung Wong Toi is a key place. LUNG-BIU goes to visit TSAU-FUNG at the hospital. He thinks that he should not have any relationship with TSAU-FUNG since she is married already. TSAU-FUNG wakes up and she scolds LUNG-BIU for being pretentious. LUNG-BIU, YUEN KWAI and LAU CHUEN go to have lunch at the restaurant. LAU CHUEN teases YUEN KWAI for being stubborn by not accepting black money. LUNG-BIU reveals that they should pay for their food and Hong Kong will have ICAC in the future. LUNG-BIU goes to Sung Wong Toi and somebody calls him. The person asks why LUNG-BIU has rescued TSAU-FUNG for he is the one who asked him to kill her. LUNG-BIU learns about the distribution of gangsters from LAU CHUEN. LAU CHEUNG tries to evaluate who is the beneficiary if both TSAU-FUNG and SUN FU die.… ...

TSAU-NGAN says that TSAU-FUNG should consider about her family members and she persuades her not to kill LUNG-BIU. LUNG-BIU, YUEN KWAI and YIM-FONG go to have late night snacks at the street stall. YIM-FONG talks to LUNG-BIU enthusiastically. LUNG-BIU discovers that there are only five bullets in YUEN KWAI's gun. YUEN KWAI reveals that he has done it deliberately because this is a kindhearted gun. LO SHUT learns that SUN FU is at the tram station. TSAU-FUNG rushes to the tram station but she discovers LUNG-BIU there. She shots LUNG-BIU and a group of killers suddenly appear. TSAU-FUNG believes that somebody else has killed SUN FU and she tells everybody that she will find the killer within one month. LUNG-BIU's foreigner boss BROWN wants to arrest TSAU-FUNG and LUNG-BIU requests to handle it by himself. LUNG-BIU suggests collaborating with TSAU-FUNG but TSAU-FUNG rejects him.… ...

In order to find out what happened when SUN FU was being attacked, LUNG-BIU performs massage to TSAU-NGAN. YIM-FONG misconceives that they have intimate relationship. YIM-FONG knows that YUEN KWAI is interested in her but she reveals that she is not interested in him. LO SHUT reveals that he has got information of SUN FU. He accompanies TSAU-FUNG to pick up SUN FU at the train station with KOO WAK. The killer AXE attacks them. AXE is sent to the custodial ward. He discovers a key in his food and he tries to run away. TSAU-FUNG forces KOO WAT to tell her who is his boss but KOO WAT commits suicide. BROWN tries to mediate between everybody. TSAU-FUNG agrees to reconcile with them reluctantly. BROWN asks TUNG-PO to take care FOOK-SHING and NGAN-KEI's areas while LUNG-BIU will take care of the walled city. TUNG-PO abuses YUEN KWAI. LUNG-BIU suggests taking YUEN KWAI as his subordinate instead.… ...

TSAU-FUNG dreams of SHEUNG-SHEUNG and BAO ZHENG. She believes that the person in her dream is SUN FU. TSAU-FUNG goes to look for her husband in the outlying island but she discovers LUNG-BIU there. LUNG-BIU discovers a big turtle between the rocks and he believes that this is his turtle. LUNG-BIU asks the bone-setter CHU HUNG to treat his turtle but CHU HUNG says that he doesn't know how to treat it. YUEN KWAI wants to raise money for YIM-FONG to buy dress by doing part time job at CHU HUNG's place. He also learns from the radio that there will be a Radio Drama Writing Competition. In order to rescue LO SHUT, TSAU-FUNG falls out with CRAZY DOG. She also stops CHO PAU from forcing the grocery shop owner Ms CHAU to give him protection fees. TSAU-FUNG discovers that some money in the cash drawer is missing. She scolds TSAU-NGAN but TSAU-NGAN says that she will be famous and rich after becoming the Oriental Princess.… ...

YUEN KWAI's article was not selected. However, the man whom he rescued is the director of the radio station TOI YIU-MING. YIU-MING appreciates YUEN KWAI and he decides to hire him. TSAU-FUNG receives a letter from SUN FU. SUN FU reveals that a fisherman has rescued him and he is now recovering from his injury in Macau. TSAU-FUNG reveals to the senior members of the gang that she has bought two street stalls and she decides to start a clean business. Both SAU KEI WAH and CHO PAU object the idea. LO SHUT goes to the stall to help TSAU-FUNG but TSAU-FUNG asks him to manage the gang's matters with CHO PAU. SUN FU suddenly appears. TSAU-FUNG and her family members are very happy. TSAU-FUNG dreams of a gun fight at the warehouse and she discovers that CIRCLE is LUNG-BIU. CHO PAU tries to make a mess at the street stalls with his people and he discovers SUN FU there. The radio programme's presenter suffers from sore throat.… ...

LUNG-BIU admits to SUN FU that he is fond of TSAU-FUNG but he assures SUN FU that TSAU-FUNG is not interested in him. SUN FU doesn't believe in him. LUNG-BIU tells YUEN KWAI and LAU CHUEN that SUN FU has found him. He also reveals that there is a wound on SUN FU's neck. During a skirmish of the Oriental Princess Contest at the nightclub, TSAU-NGAN asks YIM-FONG to swap the dress with her but YIM-FONG rejects her. TSAU-FUNG stops SUN FU from taking a revenge at NGAN-KEI's birthday banquet. SUN FU reveals to TSAU-FUNG that LUNG-BIU is her destined lover instead. SUN FU asks CHO PAU to attend NGAN-KEI's birthday banquet with him. He tries to irritate NGAN-KEI deliberately. NGAN-KEI's subordinates threaten SUN FU wth guns and SUN FU takes out a hand grenade... A gunfight has started and TSAU-FUNG joins in. CHO PAU shots LUNG-BIU and SUN FU tries to protect LUNG-BIU with his body. CHO PAU escapes eventually.… ...

LUNG-BIU fails to recognize TSAU-FUNG and he is very scared of her instead. When he sees YUEN KWAI, he immediately calls him father. TSAU-FUNG asks YUEN KWAI not to tell anybody that LUNG-BIU has lost his memory. YUEN KWAI learns that TUNG-PO wants to take over the area managed by LUNG-BIU by making a request to BROWN when LUNG-BIU is on leave. TSAU-NGAN decides to move out. She asks CHO PAU if he has any good way to earn money and CHO PAU suggests her to enter the police force. Somebody wants to kill LUNG-BIU and TSAU-FUNG tries hard to rescue him but LUNG-BIU says that TSAU-FUNG is his malignant star. YIM-FONG is not able to continue with the contest and she goes dancing at the nightclub. YUEN KWAI encourages her to chase her dream. TSAU-NGAN becomes the first policewoman successfully. YUEN KWAI worries that LUNG-BIU's position will be replaced and he asks him to go to work.… ...

TSAU-FUNG discovers that TSAU-NGAN tries to make use of LUNG-BIU when he has lost his memory. TSAU-NGAN makes LUNG-BIU believes that she is his woman. YUEN KWAI seeks advice from the neurological doctor by pretending that he has lost his memory. He hopes to find a way to cure LUNG-BIU. YUEN KWAI gives money to YIM-FONG for repaying her debts but YIM-FONG uses the money for gambling. NGAN-KEI recommends YIM-FONG to perform sexy dance and YUEN KWAI says that he will repay the debts for her. YUEN KWAI asks Master CHU to teach him kung fu so that he could earn money with it. He joins a contest and is beaten seriously. TSAU-NGAN asks LO SHUT to give her money. She then tells LUNG-BIU that LO SHUT only gives her half of the money. She claims that TSAU-FUNG has been using him and she urges LUNG-BIU to fight against Fook Lung Gang and TSAU-FUNG. When BROWN counts the money, he says that LUNG-BIU hasn't collected enough money.… ...

LUNG-BIU goes to Tung Shing and Sai Tsau Food Stalls and urges LO SHUT to give him one thousand dollars. TSAU-NGAN asks people to make a mess at the stalls. YUEN KWAI is attacked by a group of people and those people claim that they are from Fook Lung Gang. LUNG-BIU goes to Tung Shing and Sai Tsau Food Stalls with his subordinates. He accuses TSAU-FUNG for selling drugs there and he arrests her. TSAU-NGAN captures a group of senior members from Fook Lung Gang and she threatens TSAU-FUNG to give her the gang's name list but TSAU-FUNG rejects her. YUEN KWAI wins in an underground boxing contest. After receiving the prize money, he gives it YIM-FONG. However, YIM-FONG thinks that the money is not enough and she suggests borrowing some more money from LUNG-BIU. TSAU-NGAN asks LUNG-BIU to go traveling together during her holidays. LUNG-BIU asks LAU CHUEN to join the meeting with gang leaders on behalf of him.… ...

LO SHUT tells TSAU-FUNG that Britain has ordered to fight against corruption. TUNG-PO wants LUNG-BIU to be the scapegoat. TSAU-NGAN asks CHO PAU to give LUNG-BIU a chance but CHO PAU wants to take action as soon as possible. TSAU-FUNG stops LUNG-BIU from returning to the police station. She reveals that TSAU-NGAN and TUNG-PO want to harm him but LUNG-BIU doesn't believe in her. BROWN captures LUNG-BIU with the anti-corruption team. LUNG-BIU is trapped in the prison. When he is about to be tortured by the guards, TSAU-FUNG and YUEN KWAI come to bail him out. However, LUNG-BIU scolds TSAU-FUNG and he doesn't accept her help at all. BROWN reveals to LAU CHUEN and TSAU-NGAN that he will promote one of them to replace LUNG-BIU's place. TSAU-FUNG raises money for LUNG-BIU's court case. SAU-SAU gives her savings to YUEN KWAI. She reveals that her father is seriously ill and she wants YUEN KWAI to marry her as a way to save her father.… ...

TSAU-NGAN brings LUNG-BIU to Tseung Yuen and a masked police tries to shot YUEN KWAI. LUNG-BIU recognizes that the masked police is TSAU-FUNG and he tries not to harm her. TSAU-FUNG urges LUNG-BIU to kill her and brings TSAU-NGAN to the future for medical treatment. TSAU-FUNG reveals that KAM-CHEONG's soul is still inside LUNG-BIU. Once LUNG-BIU kills her, KAM-CHEONG will return to the future. LUNG-BIU and TSAU-NGAN try to seek advice from the fortune-teller. The fortune-teller says that their enemy in the previous life is not letting them go. TSAU-FUNG believes that JIAN has come to their era as well. CHO PAU captures YIM-FONG. LUNG-BIU and YUEN KWAI go to the warehouse to rescue her. CHO PAU tries to shot YUEN KWAI but somebody shots him instead. LAU CHUEN asks YUEN KWAI to safeguard him for he has an important message to exchange for it. TSAU-NGAN is preparing dynamite at the warehouse and TSAU-FUNG discovers it.… ...

Before the death of TSAU-FUNG, TSAU-NGAN holds LUNG-BIU's hand tightly and asks him to bring her along. KAM-CHEONG returns to the time when a man is committing suicide while TSIK-SUET is having an interview. During the chaos, KAM-CHEONG and TSIK-SUET fall onto the lifesaving bed and they are safe. KAM-CHEONG wonders why TSIK-SUET knows everything in their past lives and TSIK-SUET reveals that it was arranged by TSAU-FUNG. They receive message from CHI-KEI respectively and they believe that CHI-KEI is JIAN. CHI-KEI organizes an auction to raise money for the orphanage. KAM-CHEONG discovers that CHI-KEI's partner MICHAEL is engaged in drug trafficking. Nurse SO from the elderly center informs YUEN KWAI that his son is visiting him. YUEN KWAI learns from KAM-CHEONG that he is getting married. He laughs and reveals that LUNG-BIU and TSAU-FUNG was married several decades ago already.… ...

KAM-CHEONG dreams of killing TSIK-SUET and he starts to have illusions all the time. When YUEN KWAI mentions TSIK-SUET's name, KAM-CHEONG reacts strongly. YUEN KWAI is worried and he sneaks away from the elderly center. KAM-CHEONG returns home and he tries to kill TSIK-SUET. YUEN KWAI stuns him with hard object.
