James and Kacie are two strangers brought together by their shared fortune of being selected for ""Extreme Makeover."" They become the first two candidates on the show to meet and fall in love with each other! Both share a similar history of painful memories and disparagement for their appearances. At a young age, James first became concerned with his looks and tried to maintain a positive attitude, despite a malicious beating by his peers that left him both physically and psychologically scarred.
