Divan Meyer, professionally known as Vanzie Meyer, is a Producer, Director, Actor, and Writer born in Johannesburg, South Africa, raised in Zurich, Switzerland, and now based in Victoria, BC (YYJ) Canada. He is known for his work as both a producer and an actor on House of Gamborski & Meyer's Fish Face, Chandl6r, Ambrosia, Self-Tape, In the Between, and Breakfast With Mom. He is the Co-Founder and Executive Producer of House of Gamborski & Meyer (House of G & M), an independent production company he runs alongside his life and creative partner, Bradley Gamborski. House of G & M is an independent production company working across film, television, theatre, web series, music, short-form content, and content creation. Raw. Real. Resourceful. Story First, Always. Vanzie holds an Honours Diploma in Advertising from the International Career Institute (London, England) and studied Acting for Camera & Voice at Seneca College. Following his studies, he continued his training through independent, practice-driven professional development focused on performance, storytelling, and content creation. He was selected as a 2026 RBC Emerging Creator Mentorship Mentee at the Yorkton Film Festival in Yorkton, Saskatchewan. His theatre training includes Performance, Voice, and Improv studies at Ovation! Performing Arts Academy and Toronto District Christian High School under Richard Peters. He further expanded his professional development through Start the Riot Theatre Company's Artist Residency, North Fringe Theatre's Fringe Artists Residency, and the Calgary Fringe University's Producing Workshops. A multidisciplinary creative, Vanzie's artistic practice also includes fashion illustration, special effects makeup, abstract painting, and graphic design, primarily self-taught disciplines that continue to expand his creative range. His work has earned multiple awards, including the Gold Award, Actor, at the Florence Film Awards (2025) for Fish Face, Excellence in Acting and Excellence in Ensemble Acting at the Golden Box Awards (2019) for Angel Street (Gaslight), and the Multi-Character Performance Award at the TDCH Awards (2015) for A Canadian Adaptation of A Christmas Carol.
