Kris runs for student council with the help of a guy named Willie whom she just started talking to. Jessie tells Kris she will be an advisor for her schools newspaper, Kris is upset her mother will be at her school. Jessie has problems with a class clown Eric and takes charge of the class and threatens anyone that doesn't want to be serious with the paper will be kicked out.
