Cheng Ho Village is an isolated town and the villagers living there lead a quiet and peaceful life. However, generations after generations, they are very superstitious and tend to overreact to whatever happens. It has not rained for a long time and one of the villagers, a grocer, CHIN KUNG SUM, leads a procession along the streets sprinkling water all around, hoping to bring rain. Both SUM and his wife are eager to drink the whole bottle of 'Holy Water'. However, WOON is careless and spills it all.
