Episode 1

KWOK LAP CHAU and his good friend, FONG TIN MAU are graduating from University and the future looks promising to them. YAU KIM, the brother of YAU CHING, who works as the librarian, has a passion for a university student, CHEUNG LIN YU, but CHEUNG doesn't know about it. TIN NA, who is the elder sister of MAU, helps her father to operate the hotel. She delegates her days to the business in order to make her father happy. When CHAU is back home to visit his parents with MAU and KIM in Macau, he meets YAU HAY~ who are good friends in their young days. HAY is rescued by CHAU in an attack by some bad guys who have quarrels before. And the dispute is eventually settled by CHAU's father AH KAI. KAI is engaged in drug smuggling since his early days, even ?though he is now operating a Chinese restaurant. But he refuses CHAU to engage in trial activities.

Episode 2

YAU CHING, MAU's girl friend, is studying ballet in England. She is backed suddenly with the ballet-dancing group. HOK SHU, who is father of CHING, loves Chinese arts and appears to be a columnist in the upper social circle. In order to upgrade his social status, he tries to bring CHING and MAU together. CHING meets CHAU in the dormitory and he gives a deep impression to her. HAY pretends to be in dispute with her brother YING CHUN and visits CHAU in Hong Kong. She asks him to let her stay but he finds that it's so annoying and wants to send her back to Macau. This hurts her very much. KIM reads her mind and let her stay in his home. CHING seems so indifferent to the marriage with MAU in a gathering between MAU's and her family. After CHING and MAU separate for a long time, they both have been changed and found it is difficult to adapt each other. CHING's ankle is badly hurt in a rehearsal but she tries to insist on……

Episode 3

While CHING is puzzled with affection, she falls in' love with CHAU unconsciously. She is so sad for she gets to abdicate dancing because of the ruin of her ankle. Eventually she overcomes her sadness and tries to look for a brighter future. KIM's talent in writing is highly appreciated by an editor, who encourages him to write under his own name. While he currently writes under the name of his father, SHU, and this angers him. While KIM is dissipating his sorrow in a lounge, he meets a beautiful lady and fall s in love with her just at first sight. CHAU and CHING is on vacation with MAU's family in an outlying island. Tin Na tells that CHAU and CHING will both trap with emotional problems in her fortune-telling, but nobody takes it serious. The relationship between CHAU and CHING is observed by HAY who is badly hurt. She warns CHAU not to separate MAU and CHING when she leaves for Macau in tears……

Episode 4

CHING resolute to depart from MAU and chooses CHAU. This makes MAU so angry that he questions CHAU and this completely spoils the friendly relations between them. CHING feels much lighter afterwards. Even though she and CHAU find guilty to MAU, they still enjoy falling in love with each other. PAK CHUEN, father of MAU, and SHU assuming MAU and CHING get some misunderstanding. They try to bring them together again in a dinner on the Valentine's Day. During the dinner, everybody is shocked once they see CHING and CHAU appear on the TV screen in a street interview. KIM meets the beautiful lady, HO YAN, in the lounge again. Finally he knows her in a chance and totally dedicates his love to her without knowing her background. YAN becomes the mistress of a drug smuggler, UNCLE SHING, since she immigrated from the Mainland and facing severe economic problems. And her house is the place for drug smuggling……

CHUN wants to shelter his dishonesties to KAI. He decides to murder KAI at CHAU's graduation ceremony and KAI is surely shot. The killer is chased by CHAU and badly hit. Both of them are caught by the police. Neglecting previous arguments, he is on bail with MAU's assistance. CHAU and CHING further their relationship on the night before his attends court for CHING wants to help him to ease his strain. CHAU is punished at court to leave a criminal record for injury. This completely ruins his future for his dream to become a lawyer is in vain. This provokes CHAU extremely. KAI is suspected to be engaged in drug smuggling and guest ions by police immediately when he passes the dangerous stage. He breaks prison and finally he falls into the sea when he is chased by the police. And it is assumed that KAI is dead.

The restaurant of CHUN and CHAU has been burnt by some bad guys, who have quarrels with CHUN. They are forced to back to Hong Kong after losing the restaurant. CHAU is shocked when he knows CHING and MAU get marries. HO YAN, as a Public Relations Officer, appears in a painting exhibition and meets HOK SHU. On the contrary, YAU KIM is glad to meet YAN again, but YAN tries to stay away. UNCLE SHING finds YAN and forces her to return the key of a mail box. YAN has queries and tries to find out by herself. She finds lots of money and decides to get them all. She uses the money to help her husband to immigrate to Hong Kong from Mainland. CHUN knows all the money has been collected by YAN, he forces her to return to him. KIM and CHAU arrive in time to stop him. CHUN agreed that all money should be reimbursed by instalment. Due to the criminal record, CHAU cannot get a job. He joins the trial of CHUN desperately……

Episode 9

MAU asks CHAU to be his partner to set up a car renting company, in order to improve his living. CHAU refuses at first, eventually accepts this idea. But CHING does not agree on it. CHING's mother-in-law is dote on her and this makes TIN PIU and his wife so jealous. CHUN escapes to TIN NA's boat and hides the drugs into a toy so as to keep away from police's inspect on. The toy has been collected by TIN NA. CHUN tries to meet her and gets it back. TIN NA admires CHUN when she first meets him. CHUN pursues her when he knows she comes from a rich family. YAN tries to keep away from KIM after spending a night with him. KIM is disappointed. YAN meets HOK SHU during the fortune?telling seminar and both have a passion for each other.

MAU arranges CHAU as the driver of their hotel. He sells all his stock in order to expand his vehicle team and this dis?pleased his family very much. CHAU always serves as TIN NA's driver and disgraced by her. CHING sympathizes him. TIN NA finds out CHUN only holds a small company but she still wants CHUN to be her husband. CHUN places drugs onto CHAU’s car and is found by police. CHAU and CHING are caught. HAY tries to help CHAU and wants to tell police about the truth. CHUN stops her and promises that he will help them to be released.

Episode 11

CHING has been judged as guilty and is sent to jail for 2 years. CHAU is released immediately. MAU and his family try their best to arrange appeal. CHING misunderstands the drugs belongs to CHAU and really angry with this. CHAU is deeply hurt. CHAU finds out the case is related to CHUN's follower and beats him to tell the truth. CHUN tells his follower pretends to death and threatens CHAU to keep the secret. Appeal for CHING has been failed and MAU is really down. CHING is insulted by other prisoners 'but she tells nobody. Finally she tries to strike back and have a fight with HUI SIU LING. CHAU returns all the cars to MAU since the case has happened. He is unemployed. CHAU suddenly receives a letter of AH KAI and wants him to meet him and eventually he leaves for Thailand.

Episode 12

AH KAI is sneaked to Thailand on the day when he falls down the slope. He now smuggles ammunition and living has been improved. One night, SIU LING feels very sick and CHING takes care of her ignoring previous disputes. LING is deeply impressed and tries to persuade other prisoners to accept CHING. CHAU finally knows that CHUN is the back hand and he comes back to Hong Kong for revenge. KIM leaves Hong Kong when he knows his father and YAN's relationship. When CHING released from jail, her mother-in-law died. PAK CHUEN feels so sad that his health getting worse. CHING is isolated by the society, but she is so brave to face all the difficulties.

Episode 13

CHUN tries to take advantage of TIN NA to expand his business. He asked TIN NA to marry him and succeeded. PAK CHUEN's health gets worse when he knows TIN NA will marry CHUN, who he dislikes. At TIN NA's marriage, CHUEN refuses to attend and asks CHING to accompany him for a walk in the Peak. He falls off and badly injured. Before his death, he amends the will and leaves most of his properties to MAU and CHING. TIN PUI thinks that CHING persuaded CHUEN to amend the will when he is unconscious. He accompanies with TIN NA to accuse MAU. Finally MAU is failed and only shares a small part of family fortune. Relations of MAU and his sister and brother is spoiled and MAU decides to move out. CHAU comes back to Hong Kong when he gets huge sum of money from AH KAI. He starts various investments and this surprises everybody.

CHUN queries about CHAU's fortune and tries to detect him. CHAU disposes his evidence and breaks their relationship CHUN tries to look for AH KAI and kill him. CHAU concentrates on movie business and supports HAY as chief artist. HAY really surprised. CHUN thinks that CHAU makes use of HAY and tries to stop her. But HAY neglects his warning. SIU LING have arguments with her husband after released from jail. She meets CHING and lives in her home. MAU feels annoying. Due to the failure of litigation, MAU becomes unsatisfied and self abased. When he finds out CHING and CHAU still keep in contact, he is very displeased and a gap appears between he and CHING. When HAY knows that CHING and CHAU still keep in contact, she thinks that they fall in love again. She is so angry that she always wandering at bar and poorly addicts to drugs.

Episode 15

AH YING, a friend of CHING, cannot resist the temptations and takes drug again. Finally she loses he r life. CHING finds out that CHAU is in suspect. - Afterwards, CHAU discovers that CHUN is engaged in smuggling of drugs, their relationship ruined. Due to the death of AH YING, CHING and SID LING determines to set up an Anti-Drug Centre. CHAU wants to help without acknowledging them. CHING concentrates on establishing the centre and neglects MAU. CHING leaves home after having quarrels with MAU. HAY knows that she can never win CHAU. She tries to seduce MAU as a kind of revenge. HOK SHD get sick but fears to see the doctor. CHAU fired HAY for her poor attitude. CHAU's mother pleads CHAU to alter his mind and is succeeded. CHUN makes use of MAU to smuggle drugs and discovered by him. MAU wants to call the police but is threatened by CHUN. CHUN persuades MAU to join them and MAU promised.

After marriage, HAY finds that CHAU is so indifferent to her. She is so sad that she addicts to drug again. CHING dare not want to see HAY to destroy herself. She takes HAY to the anti-drug centre and takes good care of her. HAY and CHING become good friends. HAY feels guilty when she knows she misunderstands CHAU and CHING. So she discloses that MAU is forced to work with CHUN. CHAU and CHING worry about him. CHING do understands and forgives MAU. She returns home and gives full support to him. YAN decides to leave Hong Kong and lives with her husband when HOK SHD recovers. SHU do agree on it. MAU is forced not to disclose the criminal evidence of CHUN. After encouraged by CHAU, he escapes from CHUN's trial and CHUN gets MAU about this.

Episode 18

In order to warn MAU, CHUN disturbs CHING's anti-drug centre. MAU is shocked and angry. He threatens CHUN to uncover his criminal evidences to the police. CHUN kidnappers MAU so as to have the evidences back. CHING and CHAU arrive in time and rescue MAU. Unfortunely, their car is damaged by CHUN resulted in a serious car accident, and MAU passes away. CHING recalls the cause of MAU's death to TIN NA and reveal, CHUN's criminal behaviours. TIN NA is shocked. CHUN is questioned and the truth is easily covered by him to TIN NA. HAY gives birth to a boy named TIN SANG. She fully dedicates to bear this child. CHUN's criminal' evidence is discovered by CHING accidentally and intends to pass to CHAU. But unluckily her eyes are seriously injured by CHUN's follower for they want to stop her.

CHUN makes use of TIN NA's hotel as a smuggling station. Finally it is discovered by TIN NA. In order to retain the good reputation of the hotel, TIN NA dare not to disclose it. After an operation, CHING's eye sight gets worst. CHAU sends her to a primary school in the country side. CHING does not lose her drive, on the contrary, she becomes much aggressive then before. CHING is found and kidnapped by CHUN. She is forced to submit his criminal evidence. CHAU and HAY arrive in time and rescue her. CHAU and CHING uncover the evidence to police. On the other hand, TIN NA does not want to be MAU use by CHUN, she also discloses the evidence to police.

Episode 20

Chun tries to escape from Hong Kong, but is stopped and killed by AH KAI. In order to avoid police's arrest, KAI shelters himself in the primary school and waits to sneak to Thailand. HAY finds out that CHUN is killed by KAI, she is so angry and calls the police to arrest him. And she and her son are found missing afterwards. 2 years later, according to her outstanding performance, CHING is granted the Youth Award. When there is chance to recover for she decides to seek treatment from overseas. Will she recover? HAY and her son are back from overseas, will she gets well with CHAU?.....
