TIM is very confused. He eventually decides to develop his business in the real estate and property field. He works as a real estate agent at the beginning. The customers tease TIM who is a layman in this field. When BILL heard the case, he suggests TIM to develop a solid foundation first and he introduces TIM to work at a construction site. The foreman, TING, rejects TIM on the first day he reported duty. TIM makes use of YAN`s good soup to win their favor and joins TING`s group.

However, WAI feels that BILL still does not trust her and refuses BILL. TIM is responsible to get back the old apartment for LEUNG. Later, TIM finds out from BILL that YEUNG YAT is suffering from mental disorder. TIM makes use of this information to threaten him. YAT is so irritated that he committed suicide from jumping down from a building. BILL blames TIM who does not consider the consequence. BILL decides to leave TIM and works for the government, City Planning Department. YIN brings TIM to visit her secondarry schoolmate, ALEX at the hospital, and comforts him with a passionate story.

KI asks YIN to take over a case regarding a complaint to the hospital of mistreating a patient. YIN hesitates. TIM encourages YIN to take over the case. PING and LEUNG celebrate for YIN during her birthday. YEE calls LEUNG. LEUNG talks with YEE perfunctorily. YEE was discovered dead after the dinner. She committed suicide by jumping down from a high rise building. LEUNG is grieved with pain. PING recommends herself to help TIM to manage YEE`s funeral. TIM then understands more regarding PING, LEUNG and YEE`s triangle relationship. PING finds LEUNG who is very depressed. She encourages him to start anew. YIN believes that she is also responsible for YEE`s death. She thus makes mistakes at work. Her superior and client blame her. YIN becomes very weak and scared. TIM encourages YIN and helps her to regain confidence.

BILL finds out that his good friend as well as his teacher, KIN, also receive bribe. He is very upset. HANG discovers that he has fallen in love with WAI. WAI refuses him. WAI could then realize that she still misses BILL.

BILL then could not get his two hundred thousand loan from KWAN. BILL then sells his dreamhouse YAN loses her pins. BILL searches for it the whole night. BILL takes the chance to express his love to YAN. YAN refuses him.

FONG is kidnapped soon after she reached the Taiwan airport. BILL is so eager to save FONG that he urges the buyer to pay more deposit. The buyer cancels the deal instead. TIM takes the chance to offer BILL the money again. BILL is very confused. TIM finds out that BILL has not yet banked in the cheque. TIM is disappointed but also feels glad for BILL. WAI finds out that BILL is in trouble. She gives BILL a cheque. BILL hurries to the airport. On the way he encounters a robbery. He stabs the robber in confusion. BILL reaches Taiwan airport and is brought to see the triad leader, Old DA. BILL hands over the money to FONG and finds out that LI`s debt is a lot more than he expected. FONG insists to go to Tainan to find LI. BILL comes back to Hong Kong. BILL feels very uneased when he finds out that the robber has died. He always has bad dreams. Somebody crashes BILL`s car. This stranger even accuses BILL. BILL hits this guy in a bad mood.

WAI and BILL quarrel. WAI suppresses her emotion and continues to work. HANG again expresses his love to WAI after the ball. HANG and WAI are seized with an impulse and have had an affair. YIN claims that BILL is charged of causing other bodily injury. TIM buys over the victim secretly. In a marathon contest, BILL is running and thinking. He eventually realizes that he is too stuck to his own principle in the past and his principle has given him tremendous pressure. BILL gives up in the contest. The victim amends his testimony. TIM worries that BILL will not cooperate. Unexpectedly, BILL does not say a word. YAN loses LEUNG`s diamond bracelet. BILL accompanies her to search for it everywhere. BILL suggests YAN to make a counterfeit one first. YAN is shocked to BILL`s change.

HANG has become positive at work. LAI is glad. WAI knows that HANG is very serious. She thus points out to HANG that one night stand is very common. HANG is shocked. KEUNG provides a loan to TANG YUNG`s mistress for helping TIM. KEUNG was sacked by the bank because of helping TIM. TIM feels very sorry. LEUNG again pushes TIM to bribe BILL. TIM advises BILL that handling interpersonal relationship in a smooth way is an asset to secure more information. BILL again expresses his love to YAN. YAN is touched. In order to see WAI more, HANG works in WAI`s public relation firm everyday. WAI appreciates BILL`s change and indicates that they could reunite. BILL shows no response at all. WAI is very disappointed. KEUNG is glad to see that BILL and YAN are dating. However, when YAN sees TIM, she keeps away from BILL. BILL suspects that YAN still misses TIM.

He sees that BILL is flattering LEUNG. HANG cannot control himself and laughs at BILL. BILL beats HANG up angrily. CHUN sends people to beat BILL for revenge. BILL is being sent to the hospital. YAN hurries to the hospital. TIM sees them embracing together. He feels sour at heart. WAI thinks that it was HANG`s idea to beat up BILL. She blames HANG and resigns. HANG returns home. LAI blames him too. HANG is mad. HANG then works positively in the P.R. firm. WAI treats him coldly at the beginning. HANG works very hard and serious. He even invites a famous interior designer, KO TIN WAH, to design for their new project. HANG's sincerity even makes WAH cooperate with them subsequently. WAI changes her attitude towards HANG.

BILL and TIM are interested in the property located on top of the airport express railway Kowloon station. They intend to use the company name `Li Tin` to bid the project. MAN loses her passport. TIM blames her. KEUNG discovers that MAN has hidden her passport. MAN frankly tells KEUNG that she does not want to go aboard alone. KEUNG takes very good care of her. MAN blossoms love feelings on KEUNG. LEUNG warns TIM and BILL not to submit tender on the airport express railway property. They have no alternative but to tolerate. MAN is indecently assaulted by a satyr. KEUNG beats this satyr crazily. MAN kisses KEUNG sweetly. KEUNG is shocked. TIM persuades BILL not to serve two parties, otherwise, he would anger LEUNG. BILL does not take his word seriously. The next day, BILL is forced to resign and LEUNG also kicks him out. BILL thinks that TIM has betrayed him.

BILL expresses that he does not care whether she can carry baby or not, he just wants her to be with him. BILL takes the chance to propose to YAN. YAN is touched. YAN returns the electronic game to TIM. TIM is so depressed that he dates YIN. TIM and YIN have had a romantic night. After the affair, YIN discovers the electronic game. She suspects that she is just YAN`s replacement. YIN sees BARRY who is very kind-hearted to let a pregnant woman to get on a taxi first, thus she gives him a ride. She then finds out that he is a prosecutor. HANG makes use of the colleagues to make WAI stay. TIM fears that YIN is serious. He then claims that the romantic night was only a mistake. Consequently, `Tokyo` is the main contractor for the Kowloon Infrastructure Project. Its share price has gone up crazily. LEUNG is mad. TIM and BILL are glad. TIM, BILL and KEUNG get ten million each. They all buy their own luxurious apartment. BILL decides to change YAN to a rich `tai-tai`. CHEONG finds a not yet-developed film from a victim reporter in the Kam Fat Building fire. CHEONG takes it to develop and discovers the scene of how BILL killed CHU. CHEONG decides to get at the truth. BILL receives an anonymous call which claimed that they know he had committed a murder. This anonym arranges to meet BILL in Ting Kao. CHEONG follows BILL. He then calls KEUNG. Unexpectedly, BILL kills CHEONG. BILL knows that KEUNG is coming to see CHEONG from CHEONG`s pager. BILL then goes to a pub to see KEUNG. He follows KEUNG. KEUNG arrives at CHEONG`s home and sees the photo showing the scene of how BILL killed CHU. KEUNG is very angry. He rings TIM. Meanwhile, BILL bursts in and beats up KEUNG. KEUNG flees away with the film. BILL tries to knock down KEUNG. The film was burnt. TIM arrives and rescues KEUNG. KEUNG accuses BILL who has attempted murder and arson. BILL denies and claims that TIM and KEUNG are slandering against him.… ...

KEUNG insists to check CHEONG`s belongings at CHEONG's publishing employer. The firm refuses him. TIM sends KEUNG to the hospital. YIN finds CHEONG`s dead body. TIM goes to see BILL angrily. TIM carelessly pushes BILL to the road and a car knocks BILL down and hurts his leg. There are many reporters at the spot. TIM is charged with causing bodily injury to BILL. YIN knows that BARRY is the prosecutor. She hopes BARRY will help TIM. BARRY blames YIN who has offended her profession. TIM resigns lest he will affect `Li Tin`. TIM is filled with emotions when he saw KEUNG. With BARRY`s tactful guidance, TIM is only sentenced to six-months` imprisonment. YIN feels grateful for BARRY`s help.

TIM goes to Choi Kee Noodle Shop to see KEUNG. KEUNG and TIM reconcile. HANG asks TIM to return to `Li Tin`. TIM agrees. LAI is sick when he heard that CHUN seized `Ming For`. PING succeeds to bail LAI out for treatment. TIM, HANG and YIN go to Taiwan. TIN meets BARRY and finds out that BARRY and YIN has divorced. He also learns that YIN still loves him. LAI expresses that he will pass `Ming Tai` to HANG. He asks TIM to help HANG.TIN brings YIN to a coffee shop. TIM tells YIN that he has known that she has divorced. TIM indicates to start again with YIN. YIN is touched.

There is no news from HANG since he has been kidnapped. LAI is reluctant to inform the case to the police for HANG`s safety. NGAI is so scared that he urges BILL to kill HANG as soon as possible. BILL wants to further strengthen himself and invites LI to work for him. LI knows himself well and refuses BILL politely. LI`s girlfriend, LING, was kidnapped by a triad leader, TSU. TSU even attempts to rape LING.

BILL got the ransom by TT remittance. He decided to buy the land at the Kam Shan Port. The rebellious kidnapper intends to kill HANG. Suddenly the government troops arrive. HANG and WAI flee away during the chaos. BILL brings YAN to the Kam Shan Port. He depicts the `Free of Pollution City` drawing to YAN. TIM arrives and expresses that he will compete with him for this piece of land. YIN arrives at Taiwan. She expresses her love to TIM. TIM refuses her. KI expresses that TIM decides to reallocate `Li Tin` shareholding allocation. YIN knows that there is something wrong. KEUNG discovers that BILL has had donated money in CHU and CHOI`s name. He decides to forgive BILL and goes to Taiwan to see him. YAN takes her child with her to Taiwan. BILL nearly discovers her trace. A senior official, CHAN, was dismissed. BILL`s land becomes useless. KEUNG treats his wound. YAN arranges to meet BILL in Woo Loi. She tries to convince BILL to give up everything and starts again. BILL chooses career over her. YAN is heart-broken and leaves. Meanwhile, TIM`s life is at stake as the killer is approaching. However, TIM insists to wait for YAN`s good news.

Moreover, YING even claims that YAN and TIM are in league. YAN is in a very disadvantageous position. YAN holds up for her child`s sake. YAN recalls that the taxi driver could be her witness.
