It's Nola's birthday, and Lopaka wants to give her a special gift. Bolo also wants to win Nola's affection and buys an expensive necklace for her. Flipper decides to help Lopaka locate a precious pearl deep in the ocean. On the way home, the young boy encounters a poor fish that had his home destroyed by Dexter and his hoodlums.
