A story that is sure to touch your heart. Poppy is a native Fijian dog whose nose was cut off in a horrific hunting accident. Now Dr Chris Brown has gone to Fiji to bring the pup back to Australia for major reconstructive surgery and hopefully give poppy a whole new life with an adopted family.

Episode 4

Chris travels to the Barossa Valley in South Australia to help a little orphan lamb in need. One year old Hero has been vomiting all day and his owners are worried he’s been up to his old tricks, eating rocks from their backyard. Tim Faulkner leaves the Australian Reptile Park and joins the rangers at Devil Arc to find out if the crucial Tasmanian Devil breeding program is working and whether it can save the species from extinction. As Tim tries to find out if any of the female devils are pregnant, he is confronted by a sick Joey. Tim must decide if removing the devil and hand rearing it is the best thing for mum and the baby.

Chris helps a Norwich terrier struggling to deliver her first litter of pups. Later, Chris meets an eight-month-old kitten whose back legs desperately need surgery and Lisa is forced out of her comfort zone with an injured reptile.

Toby, a little schnoodle, is rushed to SASH after being run over by a taxi on a busy road. The distressed dog-sitters have been looking after Toby while his owners are holidaying in Queensland. Can Chris save Toby's punctured lung?
