Episode 1

Pang Cheong is a retired tailor living with his family in Shatin. Being a male chauvinist, he orders around the house, screaming and yelling frequently at his wife Suet Fong. Fong is a traditional woman, patient and understanding. But their neighbour Suk Lan finds the attitude of Pang Cheong unbearable. She criticizes his non-gentleman manners and the two ends up quarrelling in the street. Suk Lan's daughter Chiu Man is a college student. One day, she is cycling around with her new bicycle, to the irritation of Pang Cheong. Pang Cheong encourages a group of children to spoil the bicycle. To his dismay, he later discovers the new bicycle is actually a birthday gift from his daughter-in-law to his younger son Wai Kit, but delivered to the wrong place.

Episode 2

Pang Cheong does not get along well with his daughter-in-law Ching Ching. While he thinks that she is too dominating and un-respectful, she finds him being too harsh and unfair to her husband Wai Chiu. They exchange hard words at each other when Ching Ching refuses to pay homage to the ancestors. Ching Ching is a money-minded woman. Seeing the price of properties going up, she decides to sell her own flat. But failing in time to find a new flat herself, she has no choice but to stay temporarily with Wai Chiu's family.

Episode 3

Ching Ching finds it difficult to get along with Wai Chiu's family. She complains often to Wai Chiu, who patiently pacifies her, and promises her that they would move out as soon as he finds a suitable flat. Ching Ching flies into a temper when she loses a diamond ring. Thinking that the amah Ah Ping has stolen it, she accuses her of theft. She is convinced of Ah Ping's innocence only after Wai Chiu uncovers the ring in the mango pudding that she herself has made. Wai Chiu finds a suitable flat and breaks the good news to Ching Ching. But Ching Ching resolves to stay with the family, so that she could save up the rental money.

Episode 4

Kam On, the cousin of Suk Lan, returns from Canada to Hong Kong, where, he hopes to pick up his Ahandoned career. Due to some misunderstanding, Pang Cheong receives him to his house and treats him as his cousin. He is furious on learning of his real identity and makes up stories Ahout his relationship with Suk Lan. ' Kam On reports to his old company and soon discovers with dismay that he is, no longer important as he used to be. Further to his disappointment, he is to work as an assistant to Wai Kit.

Episode 5

Ching Chun is Ching Ching's elder sister. She has just broken up with her boyfriend. She tells the whole story with tears at Pang Cheong's house. Suet Fong listens with sympathy and comforts her. Ching Chun recovers from the bad memory and dresses beautifully to meet her new boyfriend. Unfortunately, she meets a naughty boy on her way. The boy spills ink to her dress. She is very mad and ties him up. Kam On passes by and laughs at the naughty boy. The boy's father mistakenly thinks Kam On mistreating his son and beats him up. Kam On goes to the restaurant for dim sum and meets Pang Cheong's family. He then knows Ching Chun and becomes friend with her. Kam On's mother-in-law comes back from Canada and visits Kam On. Accidentally, Ching Chun is at Kam On's room. The mother-in-law misunderstands Kam On as betrayal to her daughter.

Episode 6

One day by accident, Wai Kit puts footprint on Ah Man's clothes. Ah Man is mad with him and a wait chance of taking revenge. Christine is Ah Man's schoolmate. Wai Kit meets her and wants to make friend with her. As Ching Chun knows that Wai Kit has no girlfriend. She then arranges him to meet one. However, the girl turns out not to be the type he wants. On one occasion, Christine loses her contact lens on the ground. Wai Kit passes by and helps to search but fails. He then invites her to visit his place. However, Ching Chun has already introduced another girl to Wai Kit. She gets drunk at Wai Kit's room. As Christine meets both of them at the bedroom, she runs away with fear. The romance blows up.

Episode 7

Living on his own, Kam On finds he financially tight. He thinks of an idea that subletting one of the rooms in his flat may alleviate the problem. He goes to the Estate Agent and hopes to find a tenant. By chance he meets Heung Hoi outside the Estate Agent office looking for place to stay. They came to the agreement that Heung Hoi will pay $1,700 as a monthly rent to Kam On. Kam On astonishes that Heung Hoi always goes out at night time but stays home during the day. He then follows him and wants to know the true story. He find Heung Hoi climb into one of the house and Kam On follows him. The neighbourhood chases after Kam On because they regard him as thief. Luckily, Kam On runs away the crowd. Kam On finally knows the true story after hearing from Wai Kit. Actually, Heung Hoi is his friend and he dislikes living with his father. Therefore, he always slips back home at night while his father is asleep and gets money from his mother.

Episode 8

Kam On gets a job offer from a financial company. Coincidentally, Wai Kit works in the same company. Since Kam On has been away from Hong Kong to Canada for a number of years, he is not very familiar with the current market. Wai Kit suggests Kam On to approach the inactive accounts. Kam On discovers that Wai Chiu is on the list. He then successfully persuades Wai Chiu to buy some stocks. Unfortunately, the stock price goes down and Wai Chiu loses a handful of money. Kam On is very sorry. Wai Kit comforts him and reassures his ability.

Episode 9

Wai Chiu has problem to pay back money to Kam On. As the wedding anniversary approaches, he purchase a fake neck chain to his wife so that he can find excuse for the small saving balance remaining in his account. However, Ching Ching finds out and asks for the true story. Wai Chiu makes up a story that Wai Kit has borrowed money from him. At the same time, Wai Chiu sells video tapes on the street at night in order to earn money to pay back Kam On. Wai Chiu sees his wife pass by and quickly hide away. The other hawkers think police is coming. As they know the truth, they beat Wai Chiu. Ching Ching finally knows the whole story and Wai Chiu's monthly salary will be deducted on a monthly basis as to cover the repayment.

Episode 10

Heung Hoi is fond of making artistic works. Kam On does not appreciate on his work and intends to throw it away. However, a lady passes by and regard the artwork very good. She asks Kam On to make a bigger one to her and she is willing to pay $20,000. Kam on goes back home and requests Heung Hoi to make another one. Heung Hoi refuees and says the artistic work cannot be re-do again. In order to make Heung Hoi re-do another, Kam On plays trick and gambles mar joh with Heung Hoi. Heung Hoi loses and has to re-make the artistic work for paying debt. As Heung Hoi knows Kam On play trick on him, he decides not to create the artwork. By the time the lady comes with her friend and knows that Kam On does not keep his promise, her friend beat him up. Kam on gets a lesson from Heung Hoi.

Episode 11

Wai Chiu has been with his company for eight years. There comes a chance that his boss will leave the company very soon. Ching Ching hopes Wai Chiu can be promoted as manager to fill the vacancy. This can also let her show off among her friends. Ching Ching hears the rumour that her husband will be appointed. However, it should be the other assistant manager who is getting promoted. Wai Chiu does not want to depress her and pretend this is true. There comes a congratulation dinner for the new manager. Wai Chiu does not want the real story to be discovered. He tries every means to stop her wife going but tails. Finally, Ching Ching knows the truth with embarrassment.

Pang Cheong's family is preparing food for the picnic. They ask whether Kam On and Ching Chun like to go along. Actually both of them are free. But because they want to show off that they are active and with a lot of dating, they reply that they are not available. Kam On meets Ching Chun near the City Hall. They both find them?selves alone without friends. Two lonely hearts meet together and decide to have dinner. They take this chance to know each other and become friend.

Ah Man joins the drama club because she likes to get closer with a handsome young man. Coincidentally, the young man works for summer job at Wai Kit. As Wai Kit knows that Ah Man likes the guy, he decides to play joke on her. At one time, Ah Man is rushing to the drama club and awaiting for taxi, Wai Kit offers her a drive but actually drives to another destination and makes her late for the class. Ah Man is mad on Wai Kit and provides trap for Wai Kit and makes his shoes stick on the gel. Wai Kit take revenge and let the young man know that Ah Man is not a gentle lady. This blows the love story.

SUK Lan finds Suet Fong being a housewife and has no private interest. She suggests her to go along with her to learn Chinese Opera. With Pang Cheong's approval, Suet Fong starts her lesson with enthusiasm. Pang Cheong is not used to the house life without her wife around. Besides, Suet Fong always sing loudly in the house. Pang Cheong is always proud among his friends that he has a good wife who cooks food to him. He invites his friend for dinner but finds her wife is not around. Finally, Suet Fong gets back and cook a delicious dinner.

Ching Chun's boyfriend comes to Ching Chun's hotel and wants to book a ballroom for his wedding party. At the beginning, Ching Chun misunderstand he wants to get marry with her. However, as she finally knows he plans to marry with Selina, she feels very miserable. Ching Chun asks Kam On to accompany her for the wedding party. Kam On promises and agrees in pretending to be his boyfriend. Heung Hoi always write poem on the tissue paper. Kam On decides to charge him whenever he uses it. Kam On is proud of getting this money from Heung Hoi, but Ching Ching misunderstand that Kam On has mistreated her sister. At last the real story is known.

Wai Chiu gets a chance to join an I.Q. Contest in television channel. Everybody, including his family, neighbourhood and colleagues, sits around the television to watch his performance. Wai chiu has been too nervous and answers wrongly to all of the questions. After the incident, everybody laughs at his IQ and Wai. Chiu loses self-confidence. In another occasion, he watches people barking on the auto door before getting entrance to a building. Re follows but actually it is a trap made by the TV company. Again his face is on the TV again. Wai Chiu becomes others' laughing target but his wife accepts him.

Episode 17

Wai Kit and Heung Hoi go to an alumni dinner party. They discover that one of her former female classmates turn out to be a pretty lady. They both decide to target her as girlfriend. At the same time, they receive news from another female classmate, Mei Mei, who is used to be the school beauty, is coming back from U.S.A. They choose not to pick the first girl and awaiting Mei Mei back to Hong Kong. To their surprise, Mei Mei has become a fat girl and is no longer pretty any more. They leave the airport with disappointment.

Episode 18

Kam On and Ching Chun go to learn social dance together. The tutor appraises their progress and suggests them to join the dancing competition. Kam On becomes enthusiastic over dancing. He practises a lot at home with Heung Hoi and hopes to win a prize. Ching Chun gets to know a new boyfriend called Paul. This makes her forget to go for the dancing interview with Kam On. Kam On has been mad with Ching Chun. But as he knows her absence is due to her new boyfriend, he accepts her apology. Kam On discovers that Paul is a staff in the restaurant that is responsible to clean up the toilet. Ching Chun accepts Paul regardless to his job.

Ching Chun has been in love with Paul. She tells her love story with joy to Pang Cheong's family. Kam On does not believe that Paul really falls in love with Ching Chun. Heung Hoi hears from the restaurant staff that they are betting that Paul will be rejected if he asks for marriage from Ching Chun. He tells the truth to Kam On. As a friend to Ching Chun, Kam On persuades Ching Chun not to fall into the trap. Ching Chun refuses and gets hurt as Paul gets the bet from his friend. Kam On comforts her.

Wai Kit find Pang Cheong plays chess with him. He discusses with Wai Chiu and suggests to spend more time with his parent on Sunday. On the first family day, they find that their parents are not update with the social environment. They find themselves quite embarrassing. However, Pang Cheong and Suet Fong have a good time with his sons and daughter-in-law. On another occasion, Wai Kit brings the parent to a restaurant; Pang Cheong has mistakes the lemon tea, which should be used as cleaning hand, as normal drink. This really embarrassed Wai Kit. Wai Kit and Wai Chiu start to regard taking their parent out as not a good job. As Pang Cheong knows, he is angry on them. Wai Kit and Wai Chiu explain, and give apology to his father. Pang Cheong accepts.

Pang Cheong asks Wai Chiu to take care the mushrooms for drying because he has to go out with Suet Fong. As Ching Ching knows Wai Chiu is taking this boring job from his father, she demands Wai Chiu to ignore the job and go out with her. Wai Chiu gets no choice but to obey his wife. As Pang Cheong comes back, he finds the mushrooms got soaked with rain. He is mad with Ching Ching and Wai Chiu find himself in a embarrassing position. There is cold war between Pang Cheong and Ching Ching. Ching Ching feels uneasy and starts to search for some place else to stay. On one occasion, Pang Cheong mis-regards that Ching Ching is pregnant and begins to change attitude towards this daughter-in-law. However, the real story is known and Pang Cheong resumes his bad attitude.

Ah Man likes John but does not know how to express her. Heung Hoi suggests her to write love letter to John. Ah Man takes his advice and put a love letter to John's locker. As John reads the letter, he invites An Man to see a movie. Ah Man enjoys very much for the movie but not John. Ah Man finds her interests and personality do not meet with John. Their love story ends. Suk Lan regards John as her daughter's boyfriend but now the hope vanishes.

Kam On fells sick and everyone at home takes care his daily living. Amah Hung cooks meal and launders clothes for him. Heung Hoi helps him to clear up his room. Kam On takes advantages on this chance and pretends his illness has not been recovered. Kam On goes out to play mar joh with his friends. He wins but catches cold from one of his friends. Amah Hung receives a call for Kam On and knows that Kam On has been pretending to be sick. She tells the truth to Heung Hoi and Ah Man. They stop from taking care Kam On although Kam On is really such this time. Kam On gets His lesson and Ching Chun becomes the only one to take care him.

Wai Kit's secretary, Kitty, is having her birthday. Her colleagues plan to go to karaoke for celebration. Kam On is first rejected by his colleagues but with Wai Kit's persuasion, he is invited for the party. Meanwhile, Kam On's wife, Ah Kuen, gets back from Canada. She finds Kam On has not been back very late at night. As she sees Kam On get drunk, she is angry with him. Ching Chun comes to visit Kam On and meets Ah Kuen. Ah Man and Amah Hung afraid that Ah Kuen will be mad with Ching Chun. Fortunately, Ah Kuen appreciates Ching Chun taking care Kam On.

Episode 26

Ching Chun leaves a bag of clothes behind in the restaurant and Kam On take the bag back home. Ah Kuen discovers the bag of clothes and queries Kam On. Kam On makes up the story that the clothes belong to Heung Hoi. Ah Kuen does not believe and asks Heung Hoi to put on the female clothes. Reluctantly, Heung Hoi puts on the clothes and shoes. Ah Kuen suspects the clothing belongs to Kam On's girlfriend and asks Ching Chun to investigate the matter. Ah Kuen goes to have Japanese food with Ching Chuen. She finds the same set of shoes on the floor. But as she knows the shoes belong to Ching Chun, she finds out the story of the bag of clothes.

Episode 27

Suet Fong finds out her friend has various travel experience but she has only been to Macau. She discusses with Pang Cheong and decides to go for the Peking tour. Wai Kit and Wai Chiu both agrees to spouser the tour. As Suet Fong and Pang Cheong go to the travel agent, they find out there is a special promotion for joining the Japan tour. The free gift is worth $1,000. They then join the Japan tour. Wai Chiu has insufficient spare money to give sponsorship. Wai Kit offers help, but is refused by Wai Chiu. Wai Chiu gets the money from Ching Ching by telling lies that he lends the money to his friend. Ching Ching is mad with Wai Chiu being too generous to his parent when she knows the truth. The cold war breaks between two of them. Pang Cheong and Suet Fong drop the tour plan at the end to stop further quarrel.

Episode 28

Ching Ching has been given sponsorship by her company to participate at the Insurance convention in U.S.A. She decides not to go as she will miss her husband for three weeks. Wai Chiu is very pleased and asks her wife to join a Thailand tour. Ching Ching changes her mind as she knows that $1,000 US dollars travel allowance will be offered to the staff. Wai Chiu has already paid deposit to the travel agent and he becomes angry with Ching Ching. However, as Wai Chiu hears that his wife want to take the walkman along and but cannot find it, he borrows one from his company. Ching Ching appreciates his love and care, and leaves Hong Kong happily.

Kam On wants to get a baby boy. His friend suggests him to make love with wife at certain time schedule. By doing so, this will increase the chance of having a baby boy. He then tells it to Ah Kuen. However, they find it hard to follow strictly. At last, Ah Kuen discovers that she has been having a baby for 3 months. Kam On is very happy and tells everyone about the news. Kam On is told by his friends that a pregnant woman should stop vomiting after 3 months. At the same time, he hears Ah Kuen calls somebody's name while asleep. He then starts to suspect that Ah Kuen has the baby for less than 3 months and the baby may not belong to him.

Episode 30

Kam On wants Ah Kuen to see the doctor so that he can clarify his thought. After persuasion, Ah Kuen agrees to go with Kam On. Kam On gets a cold and sees the doctor as well. He asks the doctor whether his wife is pregnant for more than 3 months but still vomits slight or not. The doctor replies it is normal. Kam On then is reassured. However, Kam On soon finds out Dr. Wong is Ah Kuen's friend. He no longer believes his words. As Ah Kuen asks Kam On to take the pill, he tries it on the dog first. The dog becomes dead the following day. Kam On is frightened although Heung Hoi tells that the dog is dead because of car accident. Kam On sees Dr. Wong accompanies his wife back home. Coincidentally, Kam On's daughter calls from Canada. The girl prefers to talk to the uncle who is Dr Wong instead of Kam On, this make Kam On angrier on the Doctor.

Episode 31

Kam On seeks for advice from his friend on how to get rid of Dr. Wong. His friend suggests him to make the doctor losing fame and the doctor licence. Kam On tries to make Dr. Wong angry and hopes that the doctor will hit him but it fails. Kam On then asks Ching Chun to get the real story from Ah Kuen. However, as Ah Kuen knows Kam On mistrusts her, she is very angry and decides to go back to Canada. Kam On still suspect the baby is belonging to Ah Kuen and Dr. Wong. He quarrels with Ah Kuen, and Ah Kuen goes back Canada.

Kam On is depressed and argry. He throws away all his wife's clothes to the garbage centre. After throwing it out, Kam On gets back and wants to bring it back as the clothes are very expensive. Wai Chiu meets him and Kam On is embarrassed. Suk Lan comforts Kam On and takes care Kam On's daily living. Wai Kit, Wai Chiu and Heung Hoi take Kam On for a drink. Kam On gets drunk and Ching Chun is told that actually Kam On is missing his wife and children.

Kam On gets sick and Ching Chun takes care of him. Kam On thanks Ching Chun. After Kam On gets well, he drinks beer with Ching Chun. He asks ching Chun to become his wife while he is drunk. Ching Chun does not know what to do and asks Heung Hoi. Heung Hoi suggests Ching Chun should give chance to herself and Kam On. They then go to see movie together. Ching Chun wants to tell the story to Ah Kuen but it is mis?understood by Ah Kuen. Ah Kuen brings her two daughters to stay at her friend house so that Kam On cannot reach them.

Episode 34

Wai Chiu gets sick. His wife calls from U.S.A. and ask him to record TV programme. One day, Suet Fong meets Mei Mei, who is Wai Chiu's former girlfriend and has gone to Italy with a friend called Ah Keung, on the street. Suet Fong told Cheong ahout that and they prefer not to tell Wai Chiu. Mei Mei visits Wai Chiu's family. However, Wai Chiu is not at home and so miss the chance of meeting Mei Mei! Wai Chiu goes to clinic and meet Ah Keung. He then knows Mei Mei is still single and has not married Ah Keung. Mei Mei has dim sum with Wai Kit and she meet Wai Chiu afterwards. They both shares happily the good old times.

Episode 35

Wai Kit finds an apartment for Mei Mei and Wai Chiu helps her to buy furniture. The salesman at the department store mistakes Wai Chiu is Mei Mei's husband. Wai Chiu does not want to be close with Mei Mei. He asks Wai Kit to help Mei Mei on the house removal. Wai Chiu hears from Wai Kit that Mei Mei is not feeling well. He then buys pill for her. As Mei Mei receives the pill which Wai Chiu buys for her, she is very pleased. Mei Mei originally plans to go picnic with Pang Cheong's family. However, Pang Cheong and Wai Kit forget the event. It ends up that Wai Chiu goes alone with Mei Mei and they both have a good time.

Episode 37

Ah Man is responsible to take some photos, which represents Hong Kong scenery, for the drama club. Accidentally, she crashes with Wai Kit and the camera is broken. Ah Man asks Heung Hoi to take photos and is accepted. Ah Man puts the finishing slide into the rain clothes. Amah Hung mistakes the clothes as Wai Kit's and brings it to Pang Cheong's house. Ah Man searches everywhere but cannot find the slides. As Ah Man finds the clothes and slides at Wai Kit's room, she is mad with him. The real story is told by Heung Hoi. 'Although Ah Man feels guilty, she is reluctant to say sorry to Wai Kit.

Ah Man wants to take photos from the hill top. Wai Kit drives her to the place. Unfortunately, Ah Man twists her ankle. Without any choice, Wai Kit has to put her on the shoulder and takes her back home. Ah Man thanks Wai Kit and gets closer with him. Ah Man's cousin comes from U.S.A. and stays at her home. They have known each other since they were kids. Wai Kit is jealous on Ah Man's cousin and takes him as rival. Wai Kit soon finds out Ah Man's cousin has girlfriend. He changes attitudes towards Ah Man. Their friendship gets closer.

Episode 39

Here comes the Father's Day. Pang Cheong is awaiting that his sons will buy a watch for him but a present of well known brand T shirt is received instead. At the same time, a present is also brought for Suet Fong, Pang Cheong is not happy on that. On One occasion, he sees hawker selling his present T-shirt. Wai Kit explains the fake T-shirt has made looking very alike to the good one. Ching Ching wants to buy a cabinet. Pang Cheong builds one for her but Ching Ching does not very satisfy with the work. Pang Cheong is angry on her. Suet Fong tells Wai Kit and Wai Chiu that Pang Cheong needs more attention from the sons. They then find chance to show it out. Suet Fong feels sick and Pang Cheong helps to do the housework. Wai Chiu and Wai Kit critizes their mother's cooking and originally plans to boost Pang Cheong's cooking is better. Pang Cheong is angry on them and takes Suet Fong outside for dinner……

Episode 40

Heung Hoi wishes to borrow money from his father for the trip to Alaska. In order to please his father first, he buys an expensive watch for him. However his father detects his intention and the plan is failed. Wai Kit lends money to Heung Hoi. On one occasion, Pang Cheong sees Heung Hoi lending a new walkman to Wai Kit. He suspects Heung Hoi wasting Wai Kit's money and shows bad attitude to Heung Hoi. Heung Hoi gets angry and returns all the money to Kit. Instead, he borrows from Amah Hung and promise to return it by a week. By the time Heung Hoi has to return the money, he thinks of an idea of subletting the flat to other. He meets a man outside the Estate Agent. Unfortunately, the guy is a robber. He ties up Heung Hoi and Ah Man, and takes all the money. Ah Man is mad on Heung Hoi.

Episode 41

Ah Man suggests Heung Hoi to get a job and earn his own living instead of merely supported by his parent. Heung Hoi takes her advice and gets a job from a fast food restaurant. As Ah Man and Wai Kit meet Heung Hoi dressing like a chicken to do sales promotion, they persuade him to get another job instead. They introduce a design job for Heung Hoi. Heung Hoi is happy with the new job. One day, he receives a bundle of flower by mistake. He thinks it is from Ah Man. He shows off the flower to Wai Kit. Eventually Wai Kit knows the truth and is happy on the fact.

Episode 42

Ching Ching meets his cousin, Ah Sing, on the street. Ah Sing is still-single and asks Ching Ching to introduce girlfriend to him. Ching Ching and Ah Sing meet Mei Mei at the restaurant. Ah Sing wishes Mei Mei becoming his girlfriend. As Mei Mei knows that Ah Sing's intention, she pretends to show all the bad habits in front of Ah Sing and hopes Ah Sing will dislike her. However, Ah Sing still accepts her. After some dating, Mei Mei discovers Ah Sing is a nice guy and accepts him too.

Episode 43

After various persuasions, from Ching Ching, Wai Chiu promises to be the middle man between Mei Mei & Ah Sing. He even helps Ah Sing to spell out love to Mei Mei. Mei Mei is angry with Wai Chiu and kicks out both of them from her house. She becomes disappointed with Wai Chiu and thinks they cannot have further development in love affair. She finally decides to go to Canada with Ah Sing. This gives shock to Wai Chiu. He takes out the old photos with Mei Mei. This reminds him the happy time they have in the past. Pang Cheong passes by and advises him not to get along with Mei Mei as it may affect his marriage.

Wai Kit, Heung Hoi and Ah Man always go out together. Heung Hoi buys a music box to Ah Man. She likes it very much. Wai Kit obtains 2 tickets of a dancing party. He invites Ah Man to go and she accepts with joy. One day, Ah Man discovers the music box is lost. She searches everywhere but fails. Wai Kit purchases one but finds out Heung Hoi has already found the music box for her. Wai Kit becomes jealous and thinks Ah Man like Heung Hoi. Wai Kit decides to give away the tickets to Amah Hung. Ah Man is disappointed.

Ah Man hears from Amah Hung that Wai Kit is sick. Wai Kit takes this as an excuse not to go the party. Ching Chun meets Ah Man. She asks why she is not happy. Ah Man makes up a story but seeks advice how to please boyfriend. Ching Chun suggests cooking good food for "the other half". Ching Chun tells Ah Man's story to Pang Cheong's family and they suspect Ah Man's boyfriend is Heung Hoi. Heung Hoi mistakes Ah Man like him. He introduces Ah Man to his parent. Ah Man is shocked and mad with Heung Hoi.

Ching Ching is not happy his husband being scolded by his boss. She suggests Wai Chiu to quit his job and becomes an insurance salesman. Wai Chiu does not feel confidence to be a salesman. After repeatedly persuasion from his wife, he tries being a part-time salesman. On one occasion, Wai Chiu meets Mei Mei in the elevator. He feels that he has the responsibility to introduce boyfriend to Mei Mei. However, it turns out that Mei Mei does not accept it.

Ching Ching gets to know the story from Ching Chun. She decides to get closer with Wai Chiu in order to save the marriage. They decide to spend a night at the outlying island as vacation. Wai Chiu receives paging call from Mei Mei .that her grandmother is very sick and has been sent to the hospital. He then leaves Ching Ching behind and rushes to the hospital. Ching Ching has prepared the candle dinner with Wai Chiu but finds he has gone. This makes her very angry. Ching Chun and Ching Ching invite Mei Mei for a drink. Chiu follows them and sees Mei Mei crying. He misunderstands they are mistreating Mei Mei, and becomes angry with them.

Heung Hoi tells his wish of becoming husband of Ah Man to Wai Kit. Wai Kit feels jealous and unhappy. However, Wai Kit eventually knows Ah Man does not like Heung Hoi. Heung Hoi is depressed. At the same time, Ah Man is depressed too because Wai Kit keeps her from distance. She gets drunk and tells the truth of falling in love with Wai Kit to Heung Hoi. Wai Chiu tries to get away from Mei Mei. He eventually has courage to tell Mei Mei that they cannot be together. Mei Mei leaves with disappointment. Wai Chiu sees Ching Ching has a date with another guy. He becomes jealous.

Ching Chun tells lies to Pang Cheong's family that Ching Ching has a lot of dates recently. Wai Chiu is mad and says he chooses to get divorce with Ching Ching. Heung Hoi tells the truth to Wai Kit that Ah Man loves Wai Kit instead of him. Wai Kit is delighted with joy. Accidentally, Ah Man falls into the sand while talking to Wai Kit. She is sent to the hospital because of the sand getting into her eyes. Ah Man is mad with Wai Kit. Heung Hoi helps to link them together. Wai Chiu signs the divorce agreement with Ching Ching at the law office. After signing the agreement, he sees a couple getting marriage; this makes him recalling his marriage and decides to reunion with his wife. This comes to the happy ending.
