Luciano is surprised by Aitana's arrival at the Lizárraga ranch, as she is not the nurse he had chosen to care for his mother, and he fears she will cause problems in the family. Larisa can hardly wait to announce her engagement to Luciano in front of the whole family, although Belinda is not very happy to have her as a stepmother. Aitana tries to run away when she sees Zacarías arrive, as he is the only one capable of recognizing her and ruining her plans. Thanks to Lobo's keen sense of smell, Zacarías is even more certain that Aitana is, in fact, Adriana and confronts her for lying to him.

Faced with Zacarías's insistence, Aitana is forced to confess that she is in fact Adriana and reveals the reasons why she hates the Lizárraga brothers so much.
