Upon learning that their next destination in Kanazawa, Kara-chan asks to meet up with a local friend while they are there. Shito-san instead invites Makki, a wood carving artisan, along. The group stay at Korinkyo, and split up to use a variety of the hotel’s facilities - Shito goes to the in-room bath, Kara enjoys the in-house drinks in the bar, and Makki tries an isolation tank. After a planned visit to a burger shop is disrupted, the boys instead eat ribs while wearing kimonos, before heading to Hotel Kamakura to perform a tea ceremony and use the sauna.
