Episode 1

Once upon a time, there is a well-known restaurant in Resonance Town named, Honey Cave. The owner is a widow named CHI; however, she is not an ordinary housewife. Because she is a former renowned thief with excellent stance of martial art. But in spite of this, she is also a generous and open-minded person. CHI has triplets, two boys, NIN and YUI and a daughter, YEK. NIN used to be working as a government official in the capital, but he has offended the princess and has been demoted. He opposes the inconsiderable decision of princess, who spends a huge sum of money and a great force of labor on the construction of lake; therefore, he makes joke on the princess through poem.

Episode 2

The princess has absolute right to demote NIN then; hence, NIN is sent back to his hometown at last. Despite the banter of his younger brother’s wife, YUK LO, NIN is pleased to return home actually. When NIN arrives his new court office on his first day of duty, he is so surprised and feels pity for its shatter ness. The first day of duty passes away rapidly, NIN returns home for dinner. But he finishes the meal quickly and goes out again. Everyone feels that NIN acts strangely and worries about him. They follow him to the court office and are shock to find NIN hangs up on the ridge.

Episode 3

LIM FU realizes that Uncle CHEUNG has a newborn child recently. And, he is curious to find out the reason, why Uncle CHEUNG can still have baby in such an old age. Since Uncle CHEUNG tells FU that it was the blessing of the goddess of Mercy; therefore, FU seeks for the blessing too and purchases a statue of the goddess of Mercy which costs one hundred pounds. Unfortunately, FU meets his enemy CHUEN when he returns home. In order to avoid causing damage on the statue, FU protects it cautiously. CHUEN notices about it and makes fun on him intentionally. FU is furious and determines to take revenge on him later. Since CHUEN spends a lot of time in blocking the way of FU, CHUEN is late for the delivery of pork to Honey Cave on the other hand. Thus, CHUEN provides an excuse for FU to terminate the purchase contract eventually.

Episode 4

The customers complain to CHI that the quality of pork drops significantly after changing the pork supplier. Therefore, CHI decides to terminate the new contract with hawker KWAI. In return, KWAI requests twenty thousand pounds as compensation for breaching the contract. Under such circumstances, CHI has no other alternatives but uses tricky way to cheat KWAI’s wife and destroys the contract. Hawker KWAI intends to raise the price of pork massively while he does not know that the contract is destroyed already. He knows the truth and leaves with anger.

Episode 5

Parents love their kids whatever the mistakes they commit. Although princess has runaway from the palace, the king does not want to disappoint her and carries on the construction of lotus pond. He orders all the government officials to scripture a statue of princess and place at the ponds in each town; hence, the picture of princess is sent to Resonance Town also. But it turns out to be a mess when CHUEN and FU spoil and damage the picture carelessly. The portrait of princess can hardly recognize and the craftsmen have to blind guess now. On the other hand, the untamed princess runs away from the blind marriage and comes to Resonance Town with her subordinate, YUEN. She is very angry when she finds her scripture is so ugly; thus, she breaks the scripture in rage.

Episode 6

Since the princess changes her name as KUNG YAN SO; no one knows about her real identity. Hence, she is charged and punished by NIN to carry out social work in the community. It is a tough job for a woman to do construction work, especially the princess. However, the princess has a chance to realize the hard time of her citizens directly. It is not just about the hard work; YAN SO also has difficulties in adjusting her request on food. At last, she finds the fast food shop owns by CHUEN and orders a lot of food at once. After finishing the meal, YUEN asks YAN SO to leave early because he knows that they do not have enough money to pay the bill. Therefore, YAN SO trades in her belongings at the pawnshop; while the receipt is dropped and picked up by CHI coincidentally.

Episode 7

It is perhaps that destination that brings YAN SO to meet CHI. CHI misunderstands that YAN SO is the daughter of her lifesaver and accommodates YAN SO in her house. The fake identity has brought the princess a new chapter of life now. Due to the prestige dressing of SO and YUEN, the family KIM is curious about their background indeed. One day, YEK, LO and KATE feel so boring; therefore, invite SO to play mahjong together. However, SO commits a spell in the game, which will bring bad luck.

Episode 8

Since then, strange things happen and everyone accuses SO for bringing the bad luck. Their assumption is unscientific to NIN; hence, he decides to investigate. He discovers that SO is suffering from sleep-walking and creates the mystery instead. Apart, YUI tends to find a fighting a cricket near the stream. He finds MEI who injures and faints by a poison snake. At the same time, a leech hurts YUI also. YUI throws the leech away quickly and it just drops at the wounds of MEI by accident. YUI runs away in a hurry and drops his jade ring.

Episode 9

Like every woman, LO is very particular about her image. She often boosts her beauty in front of KATE and this time, it is about skin whiteness. Maybe she has the most young and delicate skin in the family before SO arrives; therefore, she is so jealous about SO. YUI scares LO so much and always becomes a target of FU to make fun of. One day, YUI meets SO in the street and bet on the lottery together. But LO misunderstands that YUI tends to have an affair with SO instead.

Episode 10

Besides, NIN orders SO to carry out the social work harshly; thus, SO is unable to go for shopping. She then asks YUI to buy a hair accessory on her behalf. By accident, he meets YEK and KATE. Later, when YEK and KATE find that SO has put on the same hair accessory, they also misunderstand that YUI and SO are having an affair also. Nevertheless, YUI often stands for SO when CHI and NIN discuss the matter of SO. While the mystery is still prevailing, YUI and SO are infected and have lip sore together. All these coincident seem to prove their unusual relationship then.

Episode 11

YUI is interested in all new invention in order to keep himself updated. This time, he wants to purchase a magnifying glass that Resonance Town has two stocks only. However, LO has a different perspective on his expenses and strongly objects YUI to spend money on it. Therefore the shop owner teases YUI directly for being a coward. Ironically, FU shows off his newly bought the magnifying glass in front of YUI in order to make him jealous. YUI cannot withstand and purchases the magnifying glass without the consent of LO. He then asks SO to be the safe keeper of the magnifying glass; hence, YUI often visits the room of SO for playing the magnifying glass. Their relationship becomes closer and arises the suspicious of CHI. In order to avoid misunderstanding; CHI questions them and clarifies the truth at last.

Episode 12

One day, FU borrows money from YUI to gamble and wins a lot of money; he mends the relationship with YUI at once. Apart, CHI feels worry about the future of YEK because she is very picky and mean person. Knowing that a fortune-teller named POON YAT SIN is very famous; YEK has interest to ask him about her destiny. Hence, SIN predicts that YEK will be alone forever unless she meets her fiance within a month. YEK is astonished.

Episode 13

Fortune teller SIN predicts that YEK will have an accident soon and it is related to ‘horse’. Just then, YEK slips and falls because of a horse chesses. Thus, she believes the prophecy of SIN wholeheartedly, especially his prediction of her fiance. Both LUI PAU and KO YI HONG accuse each other for the stolen of the white tiger skin. NIN examines the case carefully and believes that HONG is innocent.

Episode 14

A dreadful wind blows away HONG’s picture suddenly. Coincidentally, the picture lies on the face of YEK and makes her very embarrass. YEK blames HONG for his carelessness and scolds him angrily. On the other hand, CHI asks FU to recruit waiter in order to cope with their new business strategy. Meanwhile, FU finds out the CHUEN scolds his servant CHING BALL severely; hence, he recruits BALL to work for Honey Cave at once. BALL is a hardworking staff and FU is proud of him.

Episode 15

Many customers suffer from diarrhea after eating the noodle at Honey Cave. Both NIN and CHI suspect that the noodle that FU made maybe polluted. FU disagree with their accusation; however, he has no proof for his innocent. One day, FU discovers that his noodle is thrown away at the trash when he goes to the restroom. FU is furious and quarrels with CHI sternly. Later, FU and KATE go to Tai Yan Restaurant and are humiliated because of his rough made noodle.

Episode 16

Furthermore, FU is beaten up; luckily, CHI shows up on time and saves him. SIN predicts that CHI will be prosecuted and has accident; therefore, he gives CHI a thesaurus. CHI recruits a chef from the mainland to replace FU. FU notices and goes back to the kitchen once again. He feels despair and lost. BILL and MEI have their meal at Honey Cave; but BILL faints after eating.

Episode 17

NIN is investigating the death of BILL, who died from food poisoning. Meanwhile, he orders to suspend the operation of Honey Cave and imprisons FU for investigation. However, CHI begs NIN to release FU and agrees to replace him for jailing. On the other hand, CHI asks NIN to tell FU that she would like to eat the noodle that made by FU.

Episode 18

Hence, FU makes the noodle and sends to the prison in person. Just when CHI finishes eating the noodle, FU also tends to leave. Suddenly, CHI suffers from food poisoning and died. In the funeral ceremony of CHI, a stranger arrives and gives his blessing secretly. At last, with the assistance of SIN, NIN finds and captures the real suspect. YUI does not know that it is a plot between NIN and CHI; hence, he fears to death when CHI arrives from the coffin. At the same time, CHI finds that YUI has lost his jade ring and would like to purchase a new one for him as a gift. She asks SO to be her accompany and mentions the story behind.

Episode 19

CHI and YEK visits SIN in order to thank for his assistance. Therefore, SIN inspires YEK with a word ‘smile’ that it will lead her to find her fiance soon. YEK takes his word seriously and smiles at every man she meets on the street. Finally, YEK meets HONG, the one she is unexpectedly. HONG falls down and makes YEK laughs uncontrollably. Her smile leaves HONG a memory that cannot swipe away.

Episode 20

Besides, YUI eats up the watermelon that CHUN MUI bought and becomes sick afterwards. Hence, LO prays for YUI at the temple and seeks for the healing spell. She meets MEI by accident and starts quarrel with her. Afterwards, when LO puts the healing spell in the soup, she discovers that the soup becomes very thin. Therefore, she questions CHUN MUI and notices that SAU misunderstands MUI are in love with HONG and give her the soup.

Episode 21

The illness of YUI persists and he has to stay home for rest. However, YUI is longing to go for the cricket competition. He makes an excuse to beg CHI to release him; hence, CHI agrees YUI to go out with SAU at last. Afterwards, YUI escapes and rushes to the competition. Unfortunately, he crashes with MEI and loses the cricket. When he finds the XX, he feels so sick and faints already. MEI feels pity for him and carries him home. The illness of YUI becomes more serious; hence, YAN KEI suggests that YUI should find a concubine and organizes a celebration. Accordingly to the Chinese old tradition, illness can be driven away by celebration of happiness. Though LO holds a different attitude, she cannot hardly overrule.

Episode 22

Meanwhile, CHUEN loses a lot of money in the gambling, and his debtor requests him to remit 300 pounds immediately. CHUEN has mortgage the house already; yet, still cannot pay off his debts. In view of the financial difficulties, MEI agrees to marry YUI and forgoes her love towards the man who rescued her in the lagoon. LO also disagrees at first; however, in considering of the health YUI, LO accepts at last.

Episode 23

Finally, YUI recovers. CHI believes that MEI brings home good luck; hence, she takes MEI to the tailor and makes some new clothes. Owing to the difference in class, the taste of MEI is bad. Despite the tailor, all the women in family KIM find MEI dresses like a servant rather than a madam. Apart, LO is unhappy when YUI and MEI visit CHUEN for a few days. LO does not want to share YUI with MEI and insists to keep YUI at her room.

Episode 24

YUI sneaks out at night and hide in the praying room. When LO finds that YUI is lost, she asks everyone to search around in the house. CHI worries and prays to her ancestor; she then discovers YUI who is hiding at the ancestor temple. YUI tells CHI that he has a dream about gambling; which CHI believes that it is an inspiration from ancestor. Then, she settles the dispute between LO and MEI intelligently. Apart, HONG thinks of YEK deeply. NIN notices that HONG is fallen in love with YEK; hence, encourages HONG to propose his love. However, he has no idea about the temper of YEK and is scolded by her severely.

Episode 25

When NIN discovers that YEK humiliates HONG, he feels very guilty and apologies to HONG. However, NIN finds YEK dislikes HONG very much; hence, he tries to give her a new viewpoint towards things. He fails because YEK is not easy to tame. Apart, LO & MEI quarrel for the arrangement of YUI. Although LO plays dirty trick, she fools herself instead.

Episode 26

CHUEN and KUE visit MEI together and bring along some dessert as present. However, the members of family KIM are reluctant to eat the food when they find the hands of KUE are so dirty. Meanwhile, DAI notices that MEI suffers a lot after marrying to YUI, she suggests being a member of family KIM also. Thus, she can ally with MEI and helps her. Her suggestion sounds very beautiful; however, MEI realizes that DAI is attached to NIN instead. On the other hand, MEI discovers that LO often pretends weak to gain sympathy from other family members. But no one bother to listen to the complaints of MEI. Until one day, when LO creates trouble with the bees nest, they finally aware of her pretensions.

Episode 27

LO is injured by the bees and is recommended to eat a light diet. She cannot get used to the food; hence, she tends to eat something delicious in secret. Meanwhile, YEK has made a bowl of herbal soup and asks SAU to look after. But SAU suffers from a stomachache suddenly and rushes to the restroom in a hurry. LO takes the chance and drinks up the soup secretly. When YEK returns and finds the soup is disappeared; she believes that SAU has drunk the soup instead. Of course, SO stands for SAU and defends for him firmly. The next day, SAU is robbed when he helps SO to take care of a matter. SAU chases the thief and begins to fight with him. Meanwhile, DAI passes by and stops their dispute.

Episode 28

Both of them are taken to the court office for finding the truth. In order to prove the innocent of SAU, NIN asks them to return to the crime scene and demonstrate the incident once again. Apart, LO refuses to dine with other family members and forbids YUI to enter her room. When the family burst into her room, they find that LO is suffering from a massive outburst of acnes. Finally, they realize that LO has drunk the soup of YEK previously.

Episode 29

FU is robbed during the way to purchase stock. In view of the resident’s safety, NIN suggests to strengthen up the security. He organizes security teams and encourages the residents to enroll. DAI takes the advantage to work with NIN and joins the team voluntarily. HONG and others want to protect their town and enroll to the service too. On the other hand, the members of family KIM fear that their treasures will be robbed one day and hide them secretly underground. CHI notices their ignorance and advises them to be more united instead.

Episode 30

One day, CHI finds and captures a suspect. She then takes him to the court office and realizes that he is eunuch LING. SO and SAU hide away quickly in order to avoid disclosing the identity. However, CHI accommodates LING at her house in order to apologize for the misunderstanding; SO and SAU are so scared to be recognized by LING. On the next day, LING tends to check the progress of the construction of princess statue; therefore, SO returns to the court office as quickly as possible in order to hide up the truth. However, she is stuck on the way when HONG asks her to do a favor for fixing a wall.

Episode 31

Eunuch LING is very disappointed when he discovers the statue of Princess is damaged. Therefore, NIN orders the workers to remedy the defect and speed up the construction work immediately. Meanwhile, NIN finds SO sneaking out at the doorway with a hammer secretly. Hence, NIN suspects SO, who damaged the statue. Since this is the second time that SO commits against the law, NIN punishes her to follow him to the hilltop for an investigation of robbery. SO is unhappy because she is bite by the mosquito severely in the forest. When darkness comes, SO becomes scare and misunderstands BILL is the robber. NIN feels disappointed for capability and her wrong assumption. SO rings the alarm bell again later.

Episode 32

NIN checks it out carelessly and both SO and NIN are kidnapped by the robbers. The robber intends to rape SO because of her beauty. Fortunately, NIN is able to convince them to give up the thought. SO appreciates his help and begins to change her bias on NIN. NIN and SO find chance to escape but SO injures her face when she tries to rescue NIN. Since then, NIN does not assign duties to SO anymore.

Episode 33

Finally, NIN and SO return home safely. CHI celebrates their return with delicious food. However, MEI refuses to join them and claims that it is too early to celebrate while the robbers are still not under arrest. But other family members continue to persuade MEI to try the food; but she throws up immediately when she tastes it. Hence, all of them suspect MEI is pregnant. CHI thinks that MEI is feeling embarrass to admit her pregnancy; therefore, asks the family members to keep a silent. Meanwhile, she prepares more delicious food for MEI in order to improve her health condition. MEI feels dilemma to turn down the kindness of CHI until one day when her mother, KUE visits her, MEI asks KUE to take away all the food. But LO discovers and notices that MEI is unable to digest such heavy food instead of pregnant.

Episode 34

On the other hand, SO uses the excuse of her injury and refuses to carry out heavy work. NIN and BILL find out her trick and make fun on her. They tell SO that dirty sock could cure the scar on her face and ask SO to try the method. Since SO does not want them to discover her lies, she has to listen to NIN unwillingly. Apart, NIN and BILL decide to support HONG to attend the Hanlin Academy examination financially. Everyone wants to know more about the future. SO and YEK visit SIN again for their destiny. This time, SIN foresees that YEK will marry HONG; however, his deviation makes YEK so annoying.

Episode 35

At first, SO cannot understand why YEK feels so irritated until she listens to the explanation of YEK. In fact, SO has a different opinion towards the character of HONG and asks YEK to treat the relationship in another viewpoint. The next day, YEK meets a pickpocket when she is eating snack on the street. She does not aware of her wallet and is stolen by the thief eventually. She discovers the lost until she checks the bill. The owner of the restaurant requires YEK to wash all the dishes as compensation. Meanwhile, HONG realizes that YEK needs assistance; he voluntarily replaces YEK to washing the dishes. YEK appreciates his help at heart.

Episode 36

On the other hand, DAI delivers meat to the court office daily and has a chance to get closer with NIN. NIN treats DAI as a friend and socializes with her in courtesy. However, DAI fantasy too much and misunderstands the kindness of NIN. She tends to date NIN and asks SAU to do her a favor for buying tickets on her behalf. Unfortunately, SAU is unable to fulfill his promise and asks NIN to help. Therefore, NIN guesses that SAU is attached to DAI and intends to be their matchmaker. His ignorance offends DAI instantly and DAI smashes NIN right away.

Episode 37

When NIN said he wants to be the matchmaker for SAU and DAI, he scares SAU to runaway immediately. DAI follows and explains the story to SAU; hence, he realizes that DAI falls in love with NIN instead. DAI asks SAU to keep a secret. On the other hand, CHI concerns about the future of YEUK and tries to find her a good husband; but it is not so easy. Meanwhile, YEK wanders at the street and finds that someone is taking advantage on HONG. Surprisingly, she helps HONG to drive away those people voluntarily. Apart, NIN’s teacher comes from the Mainland to visit NIN suddenly. He tells NIN that the winner of the Hanlin Academy this year is come from Resonance Town. By chance, SO overhears the name of winner and informs family KIM at once. All of them believe in SO and assume HONG is the champion. Of course, YEK is overwhelmed to hear the news but she begins to worry that HONG will look down on her since then.… ...

Episode 38

Afterwards, YEK find SO for comforting. SO encourages YEK to show her love to HONG directly; thus, they finalize the wedding engagement. HONG will marry YEK the day after tomorrow then. The result of the Hanlin Academy examination is announced finally. However, HONG is not the champion.

Episode 39

YEK faints at once when she realizes that her dream is shattered; moreover, she puts the blame on NIN and SO for misleading and treats HONG coldly. CHI pacifies and encourages HONG not to give up. After awhile, YEK cools down and faces the reality. She demands HONG to study harder for the next examination. Since HONG is very absent-minded; therefore, he studies overnight in order to speed up the progress. In view of HONG’s afford, MEI also encourages YUI to plan for his future. But YUI has no interest at all and goes asleep quickly. Strangely, YUI has a nightmare that he became a beggar due to his laziness.

Episode 40

He wakes up with fears and decides to attend school again. He becomes the classmate of HONG and they attend class together. Suddenly, NIN bursts in the classroom and arrests their teacher for his corruption in obtaining the examination paper illegally. Since then, YUI gives up studying and continues his laziness again. On contrary, HONG bears a lot of pressure from himself and makes the family so worried.

Episode 41

CHI arranges HONG to work in Honey Cave. But the capability of HONG isdisappointed;moreover, he cannot get along with other colleagues. CHI thinks out an alternative measure and asks FU to teach HONG how to make noodle. FU is not a generous person; he is reluctant to treat HONG as his pupil and teaches him at all. Besides, MEI is very dissatisfied when YUI enrolls for his leech for a competition. She thinks that YUI is too lighthearted and forbids him to play with the leech anymore. YUI, of course, disagrees and finds LO to supporting her in bargain with MEI. LO does not want to upset YUI; hence, stands by YUI to negotiate with MEI harshly. Meanwhile, she provokes YUI to rebuke MEI by saying MEI has killed his top leech fighter.

Episode 42

MEI is upset for the marriage and thinks of her savior eventually. She then finds SIN for further indication. SIN gives MEI a thesaurus; which wrote a word ‘YAU’ in it. Afterwards, MEI goes back to the wood where she met her savior. On her way return home, she meets a man who is interested in the jade ring that MEI is carrying. In the conversation, the man introduces himself as LAM YAU and convinces MEI to believe that he is the man who saved her previously.

Episode 43

The loyalty of MEI is being challenged when she met YAU. Meanwhile, LO and her maid, CHUN MUI finds MEI suspicious and follow her. But they are not careful enough so KUE discovers them easily. KUE misunderstands that LO is investigating whether MEI is helping her parents financially. Therefore, LO takes the advantage to false them; moreover, LO buys a pitcher from CHUEN intentionally. CHUEN does not aware of her plot and boost about the quality of pitcher. Apart, MEI discovers the truth when she finds SAE LUNG and MA FOO investigate YAU one day. She notices that YAU cheats her and carries a knife to dun for debts. She discloses the identity of YAU and requests him to return the jade ring. Furthermore, MEI tears off his clothes for searching. In the meantime, LO and MUI lead family KIM and overhear their conversation at the doorway. Then they burst in and believe that they are having an indecent affair.… ...

YAU visits MEI at prison and believes that she is innocent. Hence, he discusses with the family to rescue MEI as soon as possible.

Episode 45

YUI and MEI visit the temple on the hilltop for thanksgiving; but they are lost when return home. They come to the wood again and luckily, they meet auntie BLIND. Auntie BLIND accommodates them at her house and gives medicine to cure the soft throat of YAU. Meanwhile, MEI shares her latest incident with auntie BLIND and makes up her mind to forgo her savior but loyal to YAU forever. The soft throat of YAU recovers on the next day. Auntie Blind recognizes his voice when YAU says ‘thank you’. MEI realizes her savior is, in fact, her husband YAU at the end and they return home happily.

Episode 46

On the other hand, CHI advises FU to take HONG for food research; meanwhile, rebukes FU for not teaching HONG in making the noodle. FU finds no excuse to refuse the request of CHI; hence, brings HONG together for the research. During the way, FU and HONG have an accident and both of them fall into the river.

Episode 47

At the western district of Resonance Town, there is a restaurant named Flamingo, which its business is suffering from economic downfall. FU takes advantage to insult them for their poor quality of noodle. In fact, the chef, CHENG MAN MAO, of Flamingo Restaurant is being headhunted and left. In view of this, FU challenges Flamingo Restaurant directly and asks them to open a branch near Honey Cave for comparison. However, he knows that he has over boost and nearly falls on the ground when he notices that MAO will be his competitor in Resonance Town after the opening of a new restaurant later. The grand opening of No. 1 Restaurant attracts a lot of people; whilst, the business of Honey Cave drops significantly.

Episode 48

At the same time, FU suffers from a strange illness and is unable to handle heavy duties. KATE seeks help from many famous doctors and they diagnosis FU has a high possibility for being disable. FU is upset for his illness and feels worry about the business of Honey Cave as well. Eunuch HOI schedules to visit Resonance Town soon, NIN suggests FU to admit his illness then. Everyone feels pity for FU and is upset for letting No. 1 Restaurant to become the best restaurant in town. They begin to consider HONG for replacing FU in the competition. Hence, YEK takes the chance to blame FU for not teaching HONG properly in the past. Under such critical circumstances, FU has no alternatives but agrees to brief HONG the details in making noodle.

Episode 49
