The first suspects are the landlords of Nebeling's temporary workplace: Boris Lengauer accused his wife Katrin of having an affair with Nebeling.

An impoverished noblewoman is found beaten to death in a retirement home. The caretaker, who did not want her to report him for growing cannabis, comes under suspicion. Another noblewoman who profited from the cannabis cultivation also comes under suspicion.

After an award ceremony for Mr Achtziger, Jo finds catering employee Isabell Wanninger dead. Inspectors Hansen and Kaya take up the investigation.

Jasper Berg, co-founder of a software company, is found murdered in his holiday home. Detectives Hansen and Kaya immediately begin their investigation.
