Luca Benvenuto has obtained a promotion that will take him far from the X Tuscolano. To direct the District in his place comes Leonardo Brandi, a former infiltrator of the Flying Squad who has just concluded an anti-money laundering operation in Germany. The plan had something of a genius about it: micronize a large quantity of gold and hide it among a load of toxic waste ready to be transferred to Germany.
