Pablo the "Gitano" gets four days leave from Rebibbia prison and, in the company of his woman, steals a luxury sedan that he exchanges for a gun from a fence to rob a jewelry store. Mauro recognizes the robber following the jeweler's complaint: he was a childhood friend of his, Paolo Acerri, known as Pablo the Gitano. The boys of the district are now busy capturing him. Giovanna understands that she has become a personal target of Vito Tonnara who wants her dead to avenge the death of his son. Tonnara has been abandoned by the Sicilian dome, now he is a "loose cannon" who has nothing left to lose and will not find peace until he has killed Giovanna. The revenge / The assignment
The news arrives that Carmine Tonnara, convicted of mafia, has died in prison. His father Vito Tonnara swears revenge on his son's grave against the architect of his conviction: Commissioner Giovanna Scalise.
