At Hooper's Store David greets Jiffy the turtle, who comes in for breakfast. Jiffy speaks very slowly, so David makes sure Gordon and Linda have everything they need - this could take a long time. Nobel Price yells out on the street to everyone about his new invention. Maria and Luis come out of the Fix-It Shop to see his new alphabet, which he calls the "Price-phabet." He explains the only difference it has from the regular alphabet, is that the letter Z is replaced with a little smiley Elmo brings Barkley over to the yard to play some Hide and Seek, and closes his eyes and counts to ten. Miss Blechman visits Oscar, her favorite student
Miss Blechman is visiting Sesame Street and pesters Luis to try and guess what she does for a living. Given her clues of working in a classroom, receiving apple cores from young Grouches, and dirtying up her blackboard, Luis knows that she is a Grouch teacher and is there to see Oscar, who was her b Miss Blechman gives Oscar a Grouch listening test, identifying the various nasty noises around them.
