With him, Bent has his parents' parting gift - a sparkling new video camera. And there's plenty to film in a world that is both captivating and terrifying.

The years are 1982-83. Bent has set himself a new goal - he wants a girlfriend. He is tempted by the unattainable Ulla Karin, but it is the nursing student Helle who teaches him what "scrotum" means.
