Episode 1

This programme introduces the Hicks family from Chesham and the Garrattley family from Manchester. 16-year-old Matthew Hicks' parents are terrified his endless stream of one night stands is going to see him becoming a father before he gets out of his teens. And things are so bad in the Garrattley household that 16-year-old Becky’s dad has already thrown one boyfriend out of the house. Can Maria’s methods solve these family’s problems? The theory is that the more open people are, the less there is to hide and worry about.
