Episode 1

ISABELLE, who works for Solar Airways as a Ground Service Agent, has posted a notice looking for a doll. BELLE regards this doll as a lucky charm that has helped bring her parents together. She hopes it too will bring her to her Prince Charming in the near future. Senior First Officer SAMUEL has found the doll, and he contacts BELLE under a fake name of ‘MR. Y’. Passenger ZOE is not feeling well, but due to the poor weather conditions, the plane cannot make its landing at the scheduled time. SAM, as one of the pilots on the plane, gives ZOE some words of comfort. SAM has lost the doll but ZOE later gets it by chance. SAM’s mother CAMMY has left SAM and his father PHILIP since many years ago. SAM has always wanted to fly her home so that the whole family can be together again. First Officer VINCENT is a good friend of SAM. His good looks and natural charisma make him a lady-killer……

Episode 2

Due to some misunderstanding, SAM and BELLE feel that they are cheated by each other, and their relationship has finally broken down. BELLE later meets VINCENT. They get attracted by each other and promptly fall in love. One year later, VINCENT introduces BELLE to SAM. SAM is shocked to see BELLE again while BELLE treats him like a stranger. ZOE can never forget how the airport staff looked after her when she was sick. She is grateful to them all and decides to join the airport team. PHILIP, as the Chief Chef of Solar Airways, needs to develop new dishes. He then goes overseas to get some inspirations, where he meets CAMMY again. The couple, after being separated for so long, realize their true feelings for each other and decide to get back together again. VINCENT has bought BELLE a lot of dolls, in a vain attempt to get her what she wants……

Episode 3

PHILIP and CAMMY have not yet told SAM and ISAAC about their true relationship – SAM and ISAAC are not aware that they are actually brothers. The lie began when CAMMY got divorced all those years ago. CAMMY found that she was pregnant just after her separation with PHILIP and she alone had to bring up ISAAC. For the sake of convenience, she has long claimed that ISAAC is her brother while ISAAC has always believed that CAMMY is his elder sister. SAM and ISAAC have different personalities and they do not get on well. SAM and BELLE are invited to feature in the promotional video for Solar Airways. SAM looks a bit embarrassed during the filming. VINCENT has changed a lot since he met BELLE. He is now ready for a serious relationship and he knows for sure that BELLE is the one for him. ZOE introduces herself to SAM and returns the doll to him. ZOE tells him that the doll has brought her good luck, so SAM decides to let her keep it……

Episode 4

SAM finally gets aware of the true relationship between himself and ISAAC. PHILIP and CAMMY are leaving for their honeymoon. Before they go, they have appointed SAM to reveal the truth to ISAAC. ISAAC does not look up to SAM. He thinks the job of a pilot is not as difficult as it seems and decides to apply for the post of Cadet Pilot. ISAAC happens to meet DONALD MAN, the son of tycoon CHEONG, and another young lad CHRIS TSE. He has a little misunderstanding with them at first but they all become good friends later on. ZITA goes to CHEONG’s company to claim for compensation, where he meets DONALD. DONALD immediately has a crush on ZITA. ZITA learns from her mother TINA that Solar Airways is recruiting Cadets. She then decides to submit her application. SAM explains to ISAAC that the job of a pilot is not as easy as he thinks and that he needs to give serious consideration to all factors before he submits his application……

Episode 5

ISAAC has joined a course to learn how to control a light plane. There he meets ZOE and her cousin PAUL. To seek more opportunities to approach ZITA, DONALD decides to apply for the post of Cadet. CHRIS thinks it would be nice to be a pilot, so he submits his application too. PAUL has dreamed of being a pilot. He applied many times for the position of Cadet but has never been selected. He is not going to give up, though. SAM, VINCENT and another First Officer TONY are to interview the candidates. VINCENT asks SAM about his relationship with BELLE. ZITA is going to attend the interview and DONALD arranges to drive her to the airport. Candidate ROY has a problem with his car and is in a hurry to get a taxi so that he can attend the interview on time. DONALD, who is on his way to the airport, does not mind giving ROY a lift. SAM has a prejudice against ISAAC……

Episode 6

BELLE now believes that SAM is the one chosen for her. PHILIP and CAMMY dare not tell ISAAC the truth about his identity, which annoys SAM. DONALD, ISAAC, CHRIS, ROY and ZITA are all selected as Cadets. PAUL is the only one who fails the screening test. ZOE happens to discover that ISAAC is SAM’s younger brother. She then sends ISAAC a greeting card. BELLE asks SAM out because she wants to figure out what actually happened in Rome. ZITA was brought up by TINA and has no clue about who is her father. TINA tells her that her father died many years ago, but she doubts it. TAYLOR, a friend of TINA who lives in Japan, looks after ZITA in every way possible, which makes ZITA believe that TAYLOR might be her father. DONALD and CHRIS go on a trip to Japan before the training program starts. ZITA joins them so that she can pay TAYLOR a visit. ISAAC is astonished to discover the truth. He is upset and finds it hard to face his family……

Episode 7

DONALD tries his best to look after ZITA when they are in Japan. ZITA, however, only treats him as a friend. ZITA does not have a clue about Japanese. Luckily, ISAAC, who is well versed in a number of languages, stays with her and helps her out as much as he can by translating for her. ZOE invites DONALD and his mates to stay in her brother’s house. ZOE, PAUL, DONALD and others have therefore become good friends. SAM is shocked to hear that ISAAC has disappeared. As he finds that ISAAC is in Japan, he immediately arranges to fly to Japan to see his brother. For this reason, he fails to meet BELLE. ZITA gets aware of TAYLOR’s whereabouts, and realizes that she has met him once in a temple. When confronting TAYLOR, ZITA feels a little shy and does not dare to ask about their relationship. To help ZITA out, ISAAC has raised a number of questions about TAYLOR’s past, including his love life……

Episode 8

DONALD is happy to get an amulet from ZITA, but as he finds that every friend of hers has also got one, he gets so disappointed. ZITA goes to visit TAYLOR, who later invites her to take a flight in a light plane. ISSAC and SAM have a nice talk with each other, sharing all those fond memories of their childhood. VINCENT proposes to BELLE, but BELLE hesitates. BELLE has got a message from SAM saying that he has something very urgent to deal with. She then understands why SAM did not come to meet her. VINCENT is invited to SAM’s family reunion party. In SAM’s house, VINCENT happens to read the email sent to SAM by BELLE. He gets so angry as he knows that BELLE still misses SAM. BELLE confides in RUBY and says she will not accept VINCENT’s proposal until she is quite clear what she wants. DONALD holds a party at his home and he invites ISAAC and all other Cadets to come. He takes it as a great opportunity to get closer to ZITA……

Episode 9

BELLE finally accepts VINCNET’s proposal and VINCENT is over the moon. SAM congratulates VINCENT, in an attempt to conceal his disappointment. PAUL has applied for a transfer to ZOE’s department so that he can work with her. ISAAC is employed by Solar Airways as a Cadet and he is on his way to sign the contract. At the airport he meets ZOE and a young lad who is trying to take his own life. ISAAC and ZOE have a talk with the lad, trying to stop the lad from killing himself. For this reason, ISAAC cannot attend the contract signing ceremony on time. SAM blames ISAAC for being late. ZOE explains to SAM what has happened, and SAM decides to give ISAAC a second chance. On his first day of work, PAUL meets a drunken passenger. For safety reasons, PAUL does not allow that drunken passenger to get on the plane. RUBY finds that ZOE has got the doll. She then tells ZOE the story behind……

Episode 10

ISAAC and DONALD have arrived in Australia, and the six-month training program is about to start. TONY offers a brief orientation tour to the Cadets. ISAAC thinks that he deserves special treatment because of his close relationship with SAM. SAM, however, insists that he has to be fair to everyone and in fact he puts even higher demands on ISAAC. VINCENT’s parents have emigrated to Australia, and for this reason, VINCENT wants his wedding to be there. VINCENT’s younger sister CHARLIE does not seem friendly on her first encounter with BELLE. VINCENT invites SAM to his wedding, which makes SAM a little upset. ZOE meets her former teacher at the airport. When she hears about her teacher’s love story, she comes to realize even little misunderstanding can ruin a relationship. Looking back on what she has done, she feels so guilty towards SAM and BELLE and really wants to do something for them……

Episode 11

Just after BELLE’s wedding, SAM finds that there has been some misunderstanding between himself and BELLE. However, he has realized it too late. VINCENT meets MIMI again, from whom he knows that there is some misunderstanding between BELLE and SAM, which made them end their relationship. VINCENT thinks it is all his fault and regrets what he has done. After a long long struggle with his conscience, VINCENT decides to reveal the truth to BELLE so that she can make a choice again. BELLE has lost SAM and she does not want to hurt VINCENT. She has finally chosen VINCENT. ZOE has been on holiday for quite some time, leaving much of her work undone. RUBY needs ZOE to finish everything the day she returns to work. PAUL wants to help ZOE and asks RUBY to give her some more time. PAUL gives RUBY a lift and RUBY breaks out in a rash after sitting in his car for only a short time. RUBY is therefore absent from work……

Episode 12

ZOE knows that PAUL falls for RUBY. She then tries her best to create opportunities for PAUL. ZOE speaks highly of PAUL, trying to convince RUBY that he is really a nice bloke. She even helps PAUL to move into RUBY’s house. ZOE shows care and concern for SAM, and SAM is very grateful indeed. ISAAC has got from ZITA some hints on how to study more effectively. He has obtained a very good result in the examination but SAM suspects him of cheating. SAM asks ISAAC to re-take the examination so as to prove his innocence. Again, ISAAC performs well in the exam. SAM needs to return to Hong Kong to report on the Cadets’ progress. The night before he leaves Australia, he packs his bags and finds a greeting card from ISAAC. He then knows he has misunderstood his younger brother. To spend more time together with PHILIP, CAMMY decides to join the administration team of Solar Airways……

Episode 13

For DONALD, ISAAC and all other Cadets, this is the first time they have been able to operate a plane. They are all very excited. SAM heads back to Australia to carry on with the training program. CHEONG’s personal assistant TAK persuades DONALD to go back to CHEONG’s company but DONALD refuses straight away. ZITA overhears the conversation between DONALD and CHRIS, and is shocked to discover that DONALD has joined the Cadet Pilot Program for her sake. ISAAC has made a fatal mistake during a flight training session. He is not allowed to carry on with any flying training until two weeks later. ZITA suggests that DONALD should abandon his plan to become a pilot so that his time will not be wasted. After serious self-examination, DONALD is absolutely sure that he loves flying and it has been his dream to be a successful pilot. SAM goes to visit VINCENT’s parents……

Episode 14

TONY and SAM hold a celebration party for the Cadets. ZOE discovers that the lovesick TAT keeps on wandering around the airport all day long. A pregnant woman at the airport is about to give birth to her baby, so ZOE and BELLE have both come to offer help. The woman gives birth to a baby girl. ZOE and BELLE ask if they can be the godmothers of the baby. All the Cadets are required to learn to fly different types of aeroplanes. The final examination is approaching. To pass the exam, they will first of all have to work in pairs or groups to work out a route and according to which they will then have to fly a plane from a location to another. DONALD, ISAAC and ZITA are placed in the same group. They have accidentally flied into the clouds and worse than that, their plane undergoes a catastrophic malfunction – they are really in great danger! But the power of a good team spirit has helped them tackle all the problems……

Episode 15

SAM returns the picture book to BELLE, which makes her very happy. VINCENT’s car is stolen. BELLE’s picture book, which has been kept in the car, is thus lost. ISAAC and ZITA, under SAM’s supervision, fly to Japan as licensed pilots. They see it as a good experience and are both very excited about this. DONALD gets on the same plane as a passenger, just to share with ZITA the joy of her first flight. ZITA goes to visit TAYLOR and the two of them have a great time. ISAAC has created a lot of opportunities for SAM to find a girlfriend. In Japan, SAM happens to find a copy of the picture book which BELLE has lost. He buys the book right away and is going to give it to BELLE. Both DONALD and ISAAC have prepared presents for ZITA, whom they call their ‘lucky star’. ZITA thanks ISAAC for his present – a music box which reminds her of her happy childhood. TAT keeps pestering ZOE and SAM tries to protect her from harassment……

Episode 16

PHILIP, CAMMY and ISAAC can all realize ZOE’s affection and admiration for SAM. PHILIP encourages SAM to accept ZOE as his lover. SAM is about to pass the picture book to BELLE. But as he sees BELLE’s bedroom, which is beautifully designed and decorated by VINCENT, he decides to keep the picture book with him. BELLE has applied for the post of Flight Attendant, so that she can spend more time together with VINCENT. ZOE decides not to sue TAT while SAM insists that TAT deserves punishment. DONALD tries every way to woo ZITA but still cannot win her heart. ZOE is kidnapped by TAT. She is so afraid and calls SAM for help. SAM is assaulted by TAT as he tries to rescue ZOE. For a split second the police have arrived to stop TAT. TAT is finally arrested. ZOE tries every way possible to get closer to SAM. She even follows SAM to Japan. ZOE tries to make it look like an unexpected encounter and honestly expresses her love for SAM……

Episode 17

CHARLIE is coming home, so BELLE helps prepare a room for her. CHARLIE has been on good terms with VINCENT. She has felt ignored since VINCENT’s marriage to BELLE, and is therefore very jealous of her sister-in-law. She and BELLE do bicker a lot, which irks VINCENT. CHARLIE is offered the post of Flight Attendant, and will get training together with BELLE. BELLE confides in RUBY, in the hope of finding a resolution for her conflict with CHARLIE. BELLE overhears the conversation between PAUL and ZOE, and is shocked to know that ZOE has such great affection for SAM. She hopes ZOE and SAM will make a go of their relationship. She gives ZOE encouragement and promises to help her out wherever she can. SAM and VINCENT are both on the plane, and due to the poor weather conditions, they have to make an emergency landing. They get into an argument about where to land. VINCENT finally follows SAM’s suggestion and SAM is proved right……

Episode 18

SAM feels guilt for having caused ZOE’s injury. He promises he will go to the hospital to see her and to look after her every day, ZOE is therefore thrilled to pieces. BELLE is deeply frustrated by her conflict with CHARLIE. SAM approaches CHARLIE to see what has gone wrong between her and BELLE. He comes to understand that CHARLIE dislikes BELLE simply because she thinks BELLE has stolen her brother. During a training session, CHARLIE means to play a trick on BELLE. BELLE’s performance is therefore affected and she is blamed by TINA. SAM cares about BELLE as a friend and there is nothing more than that. But VINCENT simply gets him wrong. BELLE is angry with VINCENT for he has no trust in her. The couple have a terrible quarrel, and have not talked to each other for quite some time. CHARLIE feels guilt for having made them quarrel……

Episode 19

ZOE is discharged from hospital and DONALD holds a celebration party for her. ZITA moves into RUBY’s house so that she can concentrate on her revision for the upcoming examination. ISAAC is not feeling well but still wants to fly with SAM. SAM blames ISAAC for being too irresponsible and immediately throws him out of the cockpit. VINCENT gives ISAAC a few words of consolation, trying to make him understand that the health conditions of a pilot can affect safety. A great number of passengers on the plane fall ill. PHILIP and CAMMY suspect that they all suffer food poisoning. PHILIP insists on better food hygiene but CAMMY thinks he is overreacting. The couple soon gets into a severe argument. To get closer to ZITA, DONALD decides to buy a house near RUBY’s home. Later CHRIS, ISAAC and ROY move into DONALD’s house too. SAM and VINCENT perform exceptionally well in the Pilot Promotion Examination……

Episode 20

The Hong Kong International Airport has been informed of the incident and all the airport staff are put on full alert. Since SAM has effectively dealt with the in-flight emergency, he has received popular recognition and got promoted to the post of Captain. ISAAC is blamed for his negligence and is suspended from duties. A deep sense of guilt has swept over ISAAC and he even wonders if he should give up on his dream of becoming an outstanding pilot. SAM has a talk with ISAAC, gives him some words of encouragement, and reminds him to learn from mistakes. Everybody has a great time during the celebration party for SAM, while VINCENT sits alone in a corner feeling down and a little jealous. CHARLIE and BELLE have successfully completed the training program and are ready for their first flight. CHARLIE asks SAM out again. During their lunch, SAM talks about nothing but planes, which bores CHARLIE to tears……

Episode 21

SAM hurts his head when he tries to save BELLE from an accident. He thinks it is just a minor injury, but it is not the case. ISAAC has lost his confidence in operating planes, which worries PHILIP and CAMMY. DONALD’s new house has become a new meeting place for his friends. ISAAC announces his intention of resigning, but his friends persuade him not to give up too soon. SAM’s optic nerve is damaged, resulting in his blurred vision. This would mean he cannot carry on with his job as a pilot, which vexes him beyond measure. BELLE believes she herself has caused SAM’s visual impairment and she feels so guilty about that. ISAAC claims that he is going to offer his resignation but SAM does not show much response to this. VINCENT hears from BELLE about SAM’s eye problems, and is worried that SAM will still carry on with his pilot duties……

Episode 22

SAM decides to leave Hong Kong so that he can take a rest and think about which career path to follow. SAM feels so depressed as he has no choice but to give up on his dream of being a top pilot. ZOE stays with him day and night, giving him encouragement and support. SAM can therefore get over this difficult time. SAM is finally touched by ZOE’s sincerity and they fall in love in Rome. SAM does not ever blame VINCENT for revealing his eye problems. Instead, he thanks VINCENT for making him understand that a pilot is responsible for the safety of everyone on the plane. SAM offers his resignation but HENRY asks him to stay. Later SAM is offered a transfer to another department dealing with complaints about in-flight services. On his first day of work, SAM meets his new department head MOON and other workmates. ISAAC decides that becoming a pilot is what he really wants to do……

Episode 23

Passenger MRS. LUNG, who is a very picky old woman, makes a complaint to the Customer Services Department. SAM, who is to deal with the complaint, has a nice talk with her. VINCENT nominates SAM for the Outstanding Young Persons Selection, and SAM is grateful to him. LUNG complains about the quality of the in-flight meals, and PHILIP immediately tries to seek improvement. PAUL expresses his love for RUBY but is rejected. ZITA is glad to know that TAYLOR is coming to Hong Kong. ISAAC tells ZITA that TAYLOR is not her father. He further explains that he did tell a lie because he did not want to disappoint her. ZITA understands that ISAAC did it all for her, and is very impressed by his kindness and thoughtfulness. TAYLOR meets TINA again, and comes to know that there has been some misunderstanding between himself and ZITA. The fact is that TINA discovered she was pregnant only after she was dumped by her husband……

Episode 24

RUBY is shocked to discover that she has slept with PAUL. She needs PAUL to keep it secret. RUBY blames PAUL for entering the wrong data, which has in turn caused a flight delay. But soon afterwards she finds out that it is just a misunderstanding and thus feels a deep sense of guilt. SAM has received a number of complaints against a cleaner, who is actually CHRIS’s mother KAM. CHRIS means to send all those complaint letters to SAM because he does not want KAM, who has bone problems, to be overwhelmed by work. He tries to make her resign from her job. SAM understands CHRIS has done it all for his mother. He appreciates CHRIS’s thoughtfulness and promises to help KAM shift to other easier work. CHRIS is very grateful to SAM for his help. CHRIS’s father HOI works for CHEONG as his driver. One day HOI turns up late for work and for this reason, CHEONG fails to get a multi-million deal. CHEONG is infuriated and gets HOI sacked……

Episode 25

ZITA, ISAAC and DONALD are caught in a love triangle. ZITA begins to face the problem and tries to sort it out. Both ISAAC and DONALD are nice blokes and ZITA finds it so hard to choose between them. DONALD, ISAAC, ZITA, ROY and CHRIS head for Australia again for another training program. ROY and CHRIS make a great effort to create opportunities for DONALD to express and prove his love for ZITA, which irks ZITA. ISAAC is fond of ZITA but is not willing to see her become an obstacle to his friendship with DONALD. He thus decides to keep his feelings under wraps. ZITA has always thought that ISAAC is also in love with her. Now that ISAAC claims that it is just a misunderstanding, she feels so embarrassed and disappointed. Without knowing that ISAAC was just telling a lie, ZITA finally gets touched by DONALD’s sincerity and accepts him as her boyfriend……

Heartthrob singer EASON is leaving Hong Kong, and his appearance at the airport has caused great chaos. ZOE constantly feels ill, so PAUL takes her to the doctor to have a check. ZOE is a fan of EASON. She cannot make it to EASON’s autograph session because she will be at work. She then asks SAM to get EASON’s autograph for her. While SAM is waiting in line for the autograph session, HENRY turns up. To avoid embarrassment, SAM decides to leave. To make it up to ZOE, SAM has bought her a gift. ZOE, however, still feels let down. To cheer her up, SAM manages to get EASON’s autograph. BELLE suspects she is pregnant and goes to confide in RUBY. PAUL overhears their conversation and mistakenly thinks that it is RUBY who is pregnant. He ends up making a fool of himself. RUBY believes that PAUL is a good man with a strong sense of responsibility and gets moved by his kindness and honesty……

ROY’s parents KO TAI WAI and SHUM LAI KWAN are very proud of their son who will become a licensed pilot very soon. This, however, has caused ROY tremendous stress. TINA is sent to the hospital for an appendicitis operation. TAYLOR visits her and looks after her with great loving care. TAYLOR expresses his love and affection for TINA but TINA, who is not yet ready to fall in love again, turns him down. It seems that the harder ROY tries, the worse his performance becomes, and the greater the pressure there is on him. He has gradually developed a phobia about flying. ISAAC and CHRIS make a great effort to help ROY to overcome his problems. Everyone is glad to see that ROY is doing well and has shown great improvements. ZOE discovers that ISAAC also falls for ZITA but is determined to keep his feelings to himself for DONALD’s sake. There is not much development in ZOE’s relationship with SAM……

Episode 28

BELLE feels hopeless as she believes she is suffering from an incurable illness. She has no one to turn to and finally decides to confide in SAM. ZOE invites SAM to go on a trip with her but SAM prefers to stay with BELLE so as to console her and to give her support. For this reason, SAM tries to find an excuse not to leave Hong Kong. CHEONG urges DONALD to resign from his job so that he can return to CHEONG’s company. Nevertheless, DONALD is very happy in his job as a pilot and has no intention of taking up his father’s business. SAM suggests BELLE should let VINCENT know about her situation, but BELLE does not want to worry VINCENT and refuses to tell him the truth. VINCENT gets promoted to the position of Captain, and his friends organize a celebration party for him. VINCENT discovers that BELLE has been taking anti-AIDS drugs, and believes that there must be something wrong with her……

Episode 29

SAM plans to go on a trip with ZOE, which thrills ZOE to the core. BELLE is caught in a dilemma of having to choose between VINCENT and SAM. In a conversation with RUBY, BELLE does not deny that she still loves SAM. RUBY reminds her it is important to be level-headed and prudent in her decision. BELLE is a little upset when she knows that SAM and ZOE get on quite well. SAM notices that something has gone wrong between BELLE and VINCENT. He then approaches BELLE, trying to give her a few words of comfort. BELLE tells SAM that she still loves him, which really surprises him. For a long time SAM has concealed his affection for BELLE, but having heard BELLE proclaim her love, he can no longer suppress the passion inside his heart. For BELLE’s sake, SAM again puts the trip on hold. VINCENT happens to discover the picture book which SAM has bought for BELLE. He suspects that SAM has never really got BELLE off his mind……

Episode 30

BELLE wants VINCENT to stay but VINCENT is determined to go. She really regrets what she has done. She cannot accept the fact that VINCENT has left her behind, and breaks down crying in SAM’s arms. ZOE has seen it all as she passes by. She asks SAM if he still loves BELLE and SAM cannot answer her question. As BELLE and SAM are perplexed about their relationship, the news of VINCENT’s death comes as a great shock. BELLE and SAM are heart-broken and both suffer the pain of losing VINCENT. SAM and BELLE fly to Rome to arrange the funeral. BELLE breaks down and cries when she gets to the site where VINCENT died. She seems to have lost control of herself and SAM tries hard to calm her down. Since VINCENT’s death, SAM has stayed with BELLE trying to look after her in the best way possible. ZOE feels neglected, and gets a little desperate as she finds that she has no place in SAM’s heart……

Episode 31

BELLE decides to leave for Australia and to stay there for a short while to nurse her broken heart. SAM is confused about his relationship with BELLE, and asks ZOE to give him some more time so that he can sort it out. ISAAC has been trying to avoid ZITA but is coincidentally placed in the same group with her. This has affected his performance to a certain extent. ISAAC can finally get through the psychological barrier and works well with ZITA. There is some misunderstanding between ZITA and a passenger who has deep prejudice against women. CAMMY is really disappointed in PHILIP and plans to go back to Italy. Both SAM and ISAAC support her decision. Having got over BELLE, SAM cherishes ZOE more and more. While clearing away the things left behind by VINCENT, BELLE recalls the voice and the face of her dead husband. ZOE claims she wants to pay CAMMY a visit and invites SAM to go with her. SAM, however, says he is too busy with work and turns her down straight away. ZOE leaves alone for Italy. But later on she meets SAM on the plane and is very surprised yet happy. ZOE and SAM persuade CAMMY to return to Hong Kong, but in vain. The pair then take a tour round the city. ALLY, CAMMY’s neighbor, has been waiting for her husband to come back. She misses her husband so much that her mental state gradually deteriorates. CAMMY sympathizes with ALLY and tries to look after her in the best possible way……

ZOE has bought a pair of rings and she hopes one day SAM will place one of the rings on her finger. SAM and ZOE are flying back to Hong Kong. On the plane they meet a passenger TAI HUNG who is proposing to his girlfriend TING TONG. ZOE gives the rings to the lovers as a gift. BELLE finds that SAM has kept with him a copy of her favorite picture book. SAM, though a bit embarrassed, decides to give the book to her. PHILIP, having taken some substances to enhance sexual potency, falls ill and is sent to hospital. SAM believes that PHILIP has not cheated on CAMMY. CAMMY forgives PHILIP and the couple stay together again. ZOE knows that she has no place in SAM’s heart and that she has been an obstacle between SAM and BELLE. After serious consideration, she decides to get out of the relationship. SAM finally returns to the post of Pilot. It is his first flight since his transfer to the Customer Services Department……

SAM and BELLE return to the place where they first met, wondering if their relationship will go any further. But the fact is that BELLE cannot get VINCENT out of her mind while SAM still loves ZOE deeply. DONALD’s family are in financial difficulties, which is a really terrible blow to him. DONALD does not want to get ZITA involved in the trouble, and tries to make her leave him. TAYLOR proposes to TINA but she hesitates. TAYLOR does not only care about TINA but also ZITA. He treats ZITA as his own daughter and it is his sincerity that touches TINA deeply. TINA finally accepts TAYLOR’s proposal. ZOE’s health deteriorates and she is advised to have an operation. ZOE’s doctor suggests ZOE should stay at the hospital so that she can have a good rest, but ZOE refuses. The doctor reminds her to keep a close eye on her health so as to protect herself against infections. HENRY plans to produce a commemorative documentary for VINCENT and asks SAM to do some research on VINCENT’s life. RUBY suggests BELLE move into her house so that BELLE will not be alone……

BELLE cannot accept the fact that VINCENT has already died and has been living with hallucinations – she is experiencing early episodes of psychosis. SAM wants to help BELLE and encourages her to consult a doctor for diagnosis. BELLE needs regular treatment and for the sake of convenience, she returns to the position of Ground Service Agent. Being a bit too selfish, RUBY needs PAUL to keep their love secret. RUBY has finally overcome her pride and she admits to her friends that she has been dating PAUL. CHRIS has an argument with ISAAC and ROY for DONALD’s sake. ZITA’s separation with DONALD has drawn her closer to ISAAC. ZOE gets aware of the reason why DONALD has to break up with ZITA. She reveals the truth to ZITA and ISAAC, and in a short time, DONALD reconciles with his friends. Inside the cockpit, TONY and the Captain do not feel well, ISAAC and ZITA therefore have to take charge of the flight……

TAI HUNG sneaks on the plane to rescue TING TONG. ZOE tries to stop him but gets injured carelessly. The airport security officers have a full inspection of luggage and find no bomb. They wonder if it is just a joke. ZOE can longer suppress her feelings when she sees SAM return safely. Immediately she runs into his arms and bursts into tears. ZOE’s wound is infected, which has in turn caused heart failure. ZOE has to stay at the hospital to wait for an operation. SAM is so worried about her. He does not want to let her down and promises to carry on with his work. A passenger on the plane is in a hurry to see his son who is waiting for a transplant operation. He asks the pilots to fly directly to his destination. SAM thinks that saving a life is perhaps more important than anything else and has finally made his decision….The operation is successful and the son of that passenger survives, which is very encouraging to SAM……

ZOE decides to send the doll back to BELLE but because she has written down the wrong address, the doll gets back to her. ZOE believes that everything is decided by fate and is thankful for the time she lives and for every breath she takes. ZOE can finally see the rainbow together with SAM. TAI HUNG and TING TONG pay ZOE a visit and the pair are delighted to announce that they are marrying. They believe the airport has brought them together and hope to hold their wedding in this special place. ZOE promises to help arrange their wedding. BELLE makes an attempt to take her life, and luckily SAM arrives in time to save her. BELLE comes to understand that to be alive is a grand thing and decides to live life to the full so as not to let VINCENT down. ZOE’s heart problem is getting worse and she is on the verge of death. ZOE has to have the transplant operation as soon as possible but is desperate for a heart donor……

As everyone is sinking in despair, the doctor brings some good news by announcing that a suitable heart is available. ZOE has had the transplant operation and it is very successful. Everybody is thrilled to bits. While recuperating at the hospital, ZOE gets back the rings from TAI HUNG. TAI HUNG tells her that TING TONG has died in an accident, which shocks her to the core. DONALD works at his father’s company and CHEONG’s business is doing quite well. ISAAC encourages DONALD to woo ZITA again but DONALD looks forward to a fair competition with him. ZITA again has to choose between ISAAC and DONALD. She does not want to destroy their relationship and hopes the three of them can get back as friends again. SAM proposes to ZOE, which thrills her to the heart. SAM and ZOE have their wedding at the airport, and BELLE sends them her heartfelt blessings. ZITA, ISAAC, CHRIS and ROY have all got promoted to Second Officers……
