HOI is the chief saxophone player in the Royal Police Band. He lost his wife early in their marriage and rose up four daughters on his own. His eldest daughter YUKI becomes a beauty consultant. The second daughter PUI YEE is a toy designer. Third daughter BOWIE is a brilliant newspaper editor. And, the little daughter TRACY is still an undergraduate. One day, TRACY has a car crush with 2 men with strong muscular. Despite her own carelessness, TRACY and her sisters have no hesitation to bargain with the 2 men at all and succeed in obtaining compensation in return. PUI YEE and her boyfriend KEN are associate partners of Kay Tsui. Although PUI YEE is a workaholic, she is expecting KEN to propose marrying her soon. WAH is the Senior Manager of Salina Leather Bag Ltd., who is smart and diplomatic. His best friend, TAI KWONG MING is an honest, hardworking man, who used to be colleagues in the past……

As a result, PUI YEE loses two battles at one time, both love and career. She never expects KEN will abandon her and flee away; yet, she is totally disappointed. But she has no time to mourn because she has to take up the burden of Kay Tsui alone. Being bold maybe the reason that PUI YEE pretends everything is fine when she returns home. However, HOI realizes the seriousness that PUI YEE is encountering and feels worry and sad. MING suffers too because he has lend three hundred thousand dollars to WAH for being the associate partner of Kay Tsui. While Kay Tsui Toys Co has high possibilities of winding up, WAH suggests forcing PUI YEE for compensation. On the other hand, he also tries to reimburse the same amount from his ex-girlfriend, NANCY. However, he fails; therefore, he has to focus on PUI YEE for the money then. Because of different standpoint, MING refuses to compromise with WAH and continues the cold war. Apart, WAH overhears the conversation between YUKI and PUI YEE and realizes that PUI YEE is also a victim while KEN flees away. The client’s representative, ROBINSON is very discontent for the delay of sample. Fortunately, WAH pacifies ROBINSON with persuasive speech and patient; thus, able to liaison with him and extend the deadline. A famous brand handbag can secure a moment of peace only. KIT offends YUKI unintentionally just because of the misuse of verb. The couple quarrels again. Besides, YEUNG starves himself for getting the recognition of TRACY on his love and loyalty. However, HOI feels pity for him and coaches him to value life in another aspect. YEUNG is inspired then and agrees to let go of the relationship temporarily. The sample of QQ elephant is completed finally. ROBINSON is pleased with both the design and tailor……

The quality of QQ elephant is below average; therefore, PUI and WAH visit the production house at Tung Kuen immediately. At last, they realize that one of the major components, IC is in shortage. Hence, the production house uses the fake IC as substitution. PUI strongly objects to use fake components for her collection; meanwhile, she suggests finding a better IC instead. However, the IC supplier, Mrs. Chiu is very moody and judgmental; she requests unfavorable terms for cooperating with Kay Tsui. WAH notices that Mrs. Chui will go to dance at night; therefore, he asks PUI to attend the function together in order to find further opportunity. When HOI realizes that PUI is short of cash, he is so worried. Meanwhile, WAH suggests HOI to mortgage the property again. But his proposal raises strong objection from YUKI, BOWIE and TRACY. Without other alternatives, HOI invests on the lottery with his colleagues then……

Episode 6

Despite financial assistance, HOI also offers support to encourage PUI to cope with challenges. Nevertheless, her sisters credit their savings to help PUI sharing the burden. PUI is touched. Moreover, HOI recovers the lottery ticket and everyone is relief. As financial problem is solved, PUI and WAH try to close the deal with Mrs. Chui immediately. However, Mrs. Chui breaks her promise and signs the contract with another buyer. WAH does not give up and decides to threat Mrs. Chui with her indecent photos. Unexpectedly, he discovers a hidden story instead. MING helps TRACY to install a new computer and notices that BOWIE has interest to write poems on the bookmark. However, BOWIE thinks that MING has invaded her privacy and yells at him rudely. In fact, by writing the poems, BOWIE finds a way to express her feelings on her first love, KA MING……

As the major problem is solved, WAH spends all his attention on playing the video games and forgets to inspect and collect the sample. Big client, Mr. KA is very annoying to the service of Kay Tsui and shows his discontent to PUI. Luckily, WAH returns to the office on time and convinces Mr. KA to place another order instead. WAH has a gift in persuasion; yet, he also proposes strategy to help KIT in making up the relationship with YUKI. While it is an impossible task for KIT to handle YUKI; WAH takes it as a challenge instead. WAH teaches KIT to please every family members except YUKI; so that she can aware the difference and compare the contrast. Therefore, KIT buys various kinds of dessert to suit the appetite of different family members and ignores YUKI. YUKI feels bitter at heart eventually. In spite of the misunderstanding by FAI, HOI still values their friendship and willing to offer assistance……

Episode 9

The strategy of WAH is so success; KIT misleads HOI also. As HOI misunderstands that KIT has an affair; hence, HOI follows KIT to a restaurant in order to find out the truth. Meanwhile, WAH discovers HOI; therefore, let him overhears their conversation deliberately. WAH suggests KIT to divorce with YUKI and apply a visa for his mistress named KUI to come to Hong Kong. Obviously, HOI is outrage when he hears their conversation and rebukes WAH and KIT severely. MING notices that BOWIE has favor in a Chinese candy; hence, he buys it for BOWIE thoughtfully. Furthermore, when Chief Editor tries to estimate their abilities, MING also gives the chance to MING on purpose. At last BOWIE realizes with surprise that MING is attached to her. She stares at the Chinese candy with various trains of thoughts. Suddenly, the phone rings and it is KA MING. On the other hand, YUKI is stunned when she learns that KIT has an affair……

Episode 10

PUI knows that the kiss is an accident; however, HOI and her sisters believe that WAH has intention on PUI. Besides, the mistress of CHUNG lingers at WAH’s apartment and refuses to leave until she finds CHUNG. KIT suffers most because her show up increases the misunderstanding of YUKI instantly. With the explanation from MING and WAH, HOI and his daughters finally realize the truth and willing to help KIT voluntarily. Meanwhile, KIT finds YUKI for explanation at her beauty salon. However, when he sees a man flirts with YUKI, he smashes the man with jealous. HOI cannot understand the barrier between YUKI and KIT, when both of them care about each other so much. He rebukes them solemnly and asks them to communicate truly from their heart. Afterwards, YUKI announces her divorce with KIT. Everyone is surprised. On the other hand, WAH meets his ex-girlfriend, NANCY again……

Episode 11

NANCY announces her wedding engagement with PIERRE at sudden. Furthermore, she also invites WAH as her bridegroom. WAH thinks that the decision of NANCY is too sudden and rushed. Besides, MING releases his grieves with a soul mate at the chat room on Internet and discloses that he is in love with his colleague, who is also his neighbor. He never knows that his soul mate is TRACY indeed. Therefore, TRACY guesses that MING is a secret admirer of BOWIE eventually. BOWIE seeks for MING’s assistance in searching an article from a famous author. Meanwhile, she is impressed when she notices that MING is a collector of books and with extensive in-depth of knowledge. On contrary, BOWIE has repulsive feeling on WAH. Because of some misunderstandings, BOWIE breaks his plane model intentionally. Afterwards, when she realizes her own fault, she is frantic to find compensation for WAH……

Episode 12

A simple explanation may hardly ease the pain and disappointment of PUI. Though KEN enlightens the reason of leaving, he is unable to relief the fatigue at her heart. Meanwhile, WAH arrives and takes PUI away. He pacifies PUI that KEN should be waiting for her if they’re meant to be together. Hence, WAH takes her back to the beach and finds that KEN is still there. Their relationship is mended. Then, PUI and KEN hope to get the blessing of HOI again. However, HOI and BOWIE are hesitant to believe KEN anymore. Apart, when KEN remits his debts to WAH, WAH refuses to take it but insists to be the associate partner instead. Meanwhile, PUI tries hard to convince BOWIE to forgive and accept KEN again. She raises an example from WAH, and discloses an untold story. Knowing that WAH does not want to hurt her and claims that his plane model is repair; BOWIE changes her perception on WAH at last. One day, NANCY tells WAH that PIERRE beats her……

When BOWIE hears about the wedding engagement between PUI and KEN, she has a different opinion. But HOI suggests BOWIE support PUI and give more faith on the decision of PUI sincerely. Besides, WAH feels very guilty that someone has copied the design of QQ elephant. Therefore, KEN and PUI decide to launch the 2nd generation of the product. HOI is busy to prepare the wedding ceremony for PUI. Quite unexpectedly, he finds that WAH shares a similar taste with him; hence, he invites WAH to be his companion. On the other hand, MING pleases WAH on purpose in order to get his consent for interviewing NANCY. It is because MING is doing a topic calls, ‘Marry the rich’; thus, he needs to have research on women. WAH realizes the bad intention of MING and strongly objects to his proposal. Meanwhile, MAY visits KIT and requests for a research on the routine work of KIT suddenly……

Episode 14

HOI prepares a lot of dishes for dinner; unfortunately, none of his daughters comes home. Nevertheless, he locks the door accidentally; when he throws away the trash at corridor. YUKI and TRACY returns home with a lot of complaints and fail to offer any consideration to their father. Hence, WAH cannot withstand their ignorant when he overhears their complaints and rebukes them in anger. The wedding ceremony between NANCY and PIERRE is approaching. BOWIE and her subordinate, SA follow them to the studio and interview NANCY at once. Unexpectedly, PIERRE has no objection for the interview; on contrary, he encourages NANCY to take the interview, so that she can promote his wine cellar. But when the interview touches down to some sensitive topics, NANCY refuses to carry on. When SA overhears the conversation between BOWIE and Nancy, she is fussy about how PIERRE abuses NANCY; SA ignores the resistant of BOWIE in order to seek for details……

The trustworthiness that BOWIE gives to SA has become trash when SA betrays BOWIE. BOWIE realizes that SA did not destroy the record tape of NANCY’s interview; she accuses SA for lacking of professionalism. On the other hand, PIERRE takes legal action against Century Publication; therefore, LIK convinces the chief editor to let BOWIE bears all responsibilities. Furthermore, SA lies that she has the consent from BOWIE for releasing the article. BOWIE is totally disappointed with SA and the chief editor; she resigns from the post then. MING also follows. BOWIE and MING become unemployed now. And, the break up of PIERRE and NANCY is also inevitable. NANCY is upset. On the other hand, HOI clarifies with WENDY that he has no intention to develop further relationship at this moment. YUKI and LONG date again. She meets an old schoolmate named RUBY, who teases YUKI for buying fake handbag. Luckily, LONG helps her to retrieve the honor……

WAH aware of the sour feeling of PUI; thus, he returns to the office and explains to PUI quickly. However, PUI responses cool in return. Meanwhile, BOWIE has completed a novel; hence, WAH recommends her to his friend ANDY, who is a publisher. At first, WAH thinks that ANDY can help BOWIE in developing her career; however, ANDY has a lot of criticisms on the work of BOWIE. Moreover, he tends to demean BOWIE and lower her wages. WAH is disappointed with ANDY and quarrels with him at last. The help of WAH touches BOWIE; nevertheless, gives BOWIE a chance to propose her love also. WAH is astonished. On the other hand, YUKI discovers that LONG has a wife in Japan accidentally. LONG does not deny the truth; furthermore, he states that he wants to have a wife in Hong Kong also. YUKI feels dilemma to make a decision. When she is wandering on the street, she meets KIT and MAY by chance……

Episode 17

It is quite shocking that PUI and KEN call off their wedding engagement in a sudden. And, everyone in the office suspects that PUI has an affair; thus, caused the break up. WAH overhears and feels ashamed. BOWIE and MING find their job as editors in publish firm again. They invite WAH and PUI for dinner as celebration. During dinner, MING tends to invite BOWIE for movie. However, BOWIE declines his invitation and replies that she will see the movie with her boyfriend instead. WAH scares; while MING is disappointed. Besides, HOI realizes that LONG has a wife in Japan; therefore, he uses a metaphor to inspire YUKI deliberately. Unfortunately, YUKI fails to understand the metaphor; the next morning, YUKI carries her luggage and tends to leave home. HOI scares to death and seeks for the assistance from KIT. KIT hurts himself because of rescuing YUKI. Finally, YUKI recognizes the true love of KIT……

Episode 18

If love is blind, it is not hard for WAH to believe the reason that MAY falls in love with KIT. However, it is not because of love; the intention of MAY is unexpected. One day, KIT sees a poster and gives high compliments on a Korean pop star. Just then, MAY stabs at the poster fiercely; which surprises KIT. KIT begins to realize the risk for having MAY as his girlfriend. KIT fakes that he has cancer and requests for a break up. But when MAY takes out a knife, he changes his mind quickly. Meanwhile, BOWIE and WAH do not get along smoothly also. BOWIE soon discovers that she has no common interest with WAH; while she finds MING understands her more. Apart, YUKI and KIT return to their former school together and they share a lot of memories happily. Suddenly, MAY appears and shows irritate. In view of danger, KIT turns against YUKI and breaks her heart. YUKI runs away with tears running down to her cheek also……

Episode 19

By most measures, WAH decides to break up with BOWIE. He understands that he cannot make BOWIE happy; while he is in love with PUI. BOWIE is heartbroken. As his best friend, MING opposes to the decision of MING, he accuses that MING broke the heart of BOWIE mainly caused by PUI. He feels pity for BOWIE eventually. On the other hand, PUI feels guilty about the decision of WAH also. Meanwhile, HOI believes that WAH and BOWIE are having little disagreement only. Apart, MAY gives a lot of pressure to KIT; when she invites KIT to live together. The subsequent refusal of KIT; however, makes MAY suspects that KIT has made up with YUKI. In order to obtain the love of KIT totally, MAY have no doubts to eliminate her enemy. Therefore, she traps YUKI to hurt her and takes legal action against YUKI eventually. Then, she offers the alternative to KIT and agrees to withdraw her lawsuit against YUKI if KIT marries her……

Episode 20

Although the illness of HOI brings the sisters together, they have thoughts for their own. BOWIE hopes to cultivate her career in Shanghai and invites MING to join her together. However, MING declines her invitation because he understands that BOWIE is still attached to WAH; hence, he has no interest to be his substitute. Besides, MAY finally finds that KIT is not her ultimate lover. She meets LIK at a bookstore by chance and the charm of LIK attracts her instantly. Just when KIT and YUKI prepare to sign their divorce agreement, MAY arrives and calls off the arrangement. She explains that owing to LIK, her relationship with KIT becomes by gone already. Both YUKI and KIT are released at once. HOI faints again when he realizes that all of his daughters are departing from Hong Kong. The doctor diagnosis HOI has heart attack and stroke. Despite the high risk, HOI must have surgery as soon as possible……
