The Fairy of Flowers, Tse Mei, wants to get a taste of love and she follows Fairy Tok Shui to the human world to seek love. Fairy Tok Shui is demoted to become a human as a punishment for his breaking the rules in heaven. He becomes a gambler called Lam Shui, who loses every time he gambles. He makes a living by cheating people on the streets with his adopted son, Ting Sun. Sun often buys flowers to please his girlfriend, Tian Man Lei, and thus becomes friends with Mei, who is now the owner of a florist shop. Mei is touched by Sun’s devotion to his girlfriend and falls in love with him. Shui always encourages Sun to woo Mei as he thinks Mei is rich. However, Sun only loves Man Lei. One day, Shui breaks a valuable ornament at the casino and is penalized for $2000. He asks Sun to help him cheat Mei for the money. He pretends to be suffering from a fatal disease and is in desperate need of money for overseas treatment……

Episode 2

Shui fails to get the money from Mei and decides to flee. Sun stops him. Sun makes Mei leave her florist shop so that Fa is not around when he can ask Mei for money. Fa anticipated his deception and used her supernatural power to change blank papers into money. Sun uses the “money” to repay the debts that Shui owed and is beaten up by the loan sharks as the money turns back to blank papers. Luckily, Mei saves him. Mei tells Sun her birth date and by chance, they come across each other on Mei’s birthday. Sun gives her a precious stone as birthday present. They also join a dancing competition together and win from it! Lei returns to Hong Kong after her vacation and Sun invites her to dinner in a 5-star hotel as he is awarded two dining coupons from the competition. However, since Sun has no proper outfit to wear for the dinner, and Lei is afraid that people will look down on her, she lies to Sun that she has lost the coupons……

Episode 3

Fa orders Mei to go back to heaven, but Mei refuses. Mei is determined to find an undying love. Fa uses her power to detain Mei and brings her back to heaven, but Mei manages to escape. Fa realizes that after she arrives in heaven and she hurries back to seek Mei. Mei tells Sun that she quarrels with Fa and leaves home for him. Sun’s family invites Mei to stay with them and arrange to have Mei and Sun get married. On their wedding day, Fa suddenly appears. Mei tells Fa that she is determined to marry Sun. She even starts a fight with Fa, but she loses. She asks Fa to give her a year’s time to prove Sun’s love for her. If in the end Sun is proven to be a rascal who does not love her, she is willing to go back to heaven with Fa. Fa agrees. Mei is unhappy after her marriage to Sun as his family does not treat her well. When Fa knows that, she decides to move in to live with and take care of Mei……

Episode 5

Shui and Sun wonder why the rich old man would set them up. They believe Fa is behind the set-up and decide to take revenge. Sun invites Fa to a delicious cuisine and Fa accepts his invitation. She is shocked when Sun brings her to the cemetery and disguises as ghost to scare her. When she realizes that Sun is making fun of her, Fa torments him in return. Sun and Fa are on such bad terms that Mei is depressed and cries. Sun and Fa finally settle their dispute by mutual punishment. Yan, on the other hand, escapes from school to become a shoe-shiner. Mei discovers it and promises to keep it a secret. However, it is no secret to Shui, Sun and Yan’s sister, Yau. Yan reluctantly tells them that he learns to be a shoe-shiner because he does not want to become a swindler like them. Mei is heartbroken when she learns that Sun is really a swindler. Fa discovers a photo of Sun and Lei……

Episode 6

Shui asks Sun to treasure Mei, but he cannot forget Lei. He even introduces other men to Mei. Yau mistakenly thinks that Sun is introducing men to her and dresses up for the occasion. In the end, Sai is being laughed at. When Shui and Yau learn that Sun is introducing men to Mei, they scold him and prevent Mei from dating the men further. Fa asks Lei to seduce Sun and Mei is heartbroken to see them together. The next day, Lei visits Mei at her florist shop and tells Mei that she is paid by Mei’s ex-boyfriend to seduce Sun. Lei complains that all the money she received turn into blank papers. Mei knows that Fa is behind it. Shui, on the other hand, helps Sun beg for Mei’s forgiveness. Mei finally forgives Sun and asks Fa to leave. Fa is enraged and heartbroken. She leaves in anger.

Episode 7

Fa wanders on the street and comes across weird people who make her suffer. She blames her pain on Shui and Sun and is determined to take revenge on them. Lei finds a gold necklace in George’s home and keeps it for herself. When George’s mother fails to find her missing necklace, she accuses the maid for stealing it. The maid is upset and resigns. Yau is unemployed for months. She decides to go to work in George’s home as his maid. Shui and Sun go to earn some money as stunt men. Fa follows them and beat them up during the shooting. Shui and Sun take their revenge on Fa after work. They pour water on Fa in front of all the people. Fa loses her supernatural power when she is wet. Mei misses Fa and goes out to look for her. She is shocked to find Fa fallen sick and sleeping on the street. She brings Fa home to take care of her. Mei becomes ill herself after nursing Fa throughout the night. 。

Episode 8

When Mei learns that Sun has no feelings for her, she is heartbroken and decides to go back to heaven with Fa. Sun offers to divorce Mei, but Mei tells him that Fa will leave them in one year’s time. She proposes to Sun that they remain a couple within one year, and he can get $10,000 after the period ends. However, if anything goes wrong during that time, Sun will not be able to get the money. Sun agrees. Shui and Sun repeatedly come across George’s brother, Fu. Fu wants to be their friends and is very concerned about Shui and Sun. Shui and Sun do not know Fu is rich. They think he is gay. Yau finds out that Lei pretends to be a rich girl to date George. Lei threatens to fire Yau if Yau tells George about her identity. When Shui and Sun knows that Fu is very rich, their attitudes changed immediately. Fu, on the other hand, employs Shui and Sun to work in his restaurant.

Episode 9

On Christmas Eve, Sun’s family urges Sun and Mei to go out and have fun. In front of the family, Sun and Mei pretend to be very loving; but once they step out of the door, they go separate ways. Surprisingly, they come across each other again on the streets. At first, they are a bit nervous and embarrassed; but very soon, they are talking happily. They go to see the fortune-teller together and are told they are a perfect couple. Shui wants them to join a competition for perfect couples. Fa objects. But when she knows that many couples break up after joining the competition, she agrees to let Sun and Mei take part in it. During the competition, Sun and Mei discover that they know nothing about each other and are frequently punished. By chance, they win the match in the end, but Sun accidentally hurt Mei. Shui and Sun are very lazy at work and Fu’s father, Choi, wants to fire them. Fu pleads for them and let them stay……

Episode 10

Mei wanders on the street and sees an injured, old lady. Nobody bothers to take a look at her. Then, Fu goes up to the old lady and helps her breathe. Mei is touched by his move and has good impressions on him. Sun tries to please Mei and Mei knows he wants to get the $10,000 in advance. Mei refuses to give him the $10,000 before their agreement matures. When Sun learns that Fu is in fact the “good Samaritan” mentioned by Mei, he tries to match them up. Sun buys them movie tickets and arranges them to see a horror film together. Since Fu is afraid of scary movies, they leave early before the film ends. From then on, Fu starts to date Mei. God Yee Long and Fa meet each other and God tells Fa that he foresees Shui will have a tragic accident. He comes to rescue him on purpose. Meanwhile, Lei pays a woman to pretend as her mother to meet with George’s parents in their restaurant……

Episode 11

George is attracted to Mei at a party and decides to court her. Mei visits George’s company the next day and Georges takes the opportunity to invite her to become his secretary. Mei hesitates, but agrees in the end. When Sun discovers that George is Lei’s boyfriend, he asks Mei to quit her job. Mei refuses. Sun knows that George has other intentions when he asks Mei to go on a business trip with him. Sun decides to follow them. Sun beats up George and Mei is annoyed. She slaps Sun in the face and blames him for what he did. Sun tells Shui that George wants to take advantage of Mei and seeks Shui’s help. Shui thus helps him post up leaflets that say George is lustful and licentious. Sun volunteers to work in George’s company and becomes very popular to the female staff there. George envies him and asks him how he manages to attract so many

Sun gets sick after following Mei and George. George, on the other hand, also falls sick with influenza. Lei finds out that George is seeing other girls and complains to George’s mother, Fung. Fung, who believes that Lei comes from a rich family, scolds George for being not faithful. George later finds out that Lei works in a nightclub and breaks up with her. Yau accidentally overhears them and relays it to Shui. Shui stops her from telling it to Sun. Mei realizes that Fu has talent in making voices and accompanies him to the radio station to apply as a vocal talent. She uses her supernatural power to help him impress the judges. Mei offends a big client at work due to her straightforwardness. The indirectly causes the company lose a big business. Sun mocks at Mei’s incapability and she breaks down into tears. Sun feels sorry and goes to help her apologize to the client……

Episode 13

Fa becomes friends with Fung. Fa realizes that Fung is often laughed at by her rich friends for looking shabby. Fung also discloses that her husband, Choi, is very mean to her. Fa, therefore, uses her supernatural power to help Fung and Fung is very grateful for her. God Yee Long decides to help Shui get rid of his bad gambling habit. God Yee Long ties him up to prevent him from going to gamble, but Fa secretly unties him. God Yee Long is pissed. Mei and Sun are required to go to Yuen Long to work, but the road is blocked. Sun, therefore, takes Mei there by riding a bicycle. Mei is touched. On their way, the bicycle breaks down and they are forced to spend the night out in the open. They sit together in front of a fire, chatting and cooking sweet potatoes. Sun gradually finds himself falling in love with Mei. He starts to care for Mei, but Mei doesn’t seem to be touched. She spends more and more time with George instead……

Episode 14

Sun finds himself in love with Mei and always tries to please her. When Sun learns that George wants to date Mei to see a movie, he tries to stop them. George meets Lei again in the nightclub and humiliates her. George is tolerated by Lei. Fa wants to break up Mei and Sun and encourages Mei to cook for George. Sun is depressed when he knows that Mei prepares a lunch box for George. He tells Shui about it. Shui wants to scold Mei for making Sun unhappy, but Sun prevent him from so doing. Sun is determined to fight against George to win Mei’s heart. Fa, on the other hand, tries her best to break up the couple. She forges George’s handwriting and sends love letters to Mei. When Sun discovers the love letters, he is furious and demands a divorce. Mei refuses and tells him that if he wants a divorce, he will be penalized $100,000. Yau listens to the radio every night and is impressed by the vocal talent, who is in fact Fu……

Episode 15

Sun treats Fa and Mei badly. He tells Mei that if she cannot bear with him, she can divorce him. Fu is sick and is absent from the radio broadcasting. Yau brings him a bottle of nutritious soup, which she deliberately prepares for him. Fu is moved and thanks her publicly. However, Fu does not tell Yau that he is in fact the vocal talent. When Sun learns that Mei and George are not involved, he knows he has blamed her wrongly. He apologizes to her and tries to please her, but Mei ignores him. Shui, therefore, organizes a family outing, where Sun hurts himself when he tries to pick some flowers for Mei. Mei is touched, but she still refuses to show him she has forgiven him. Sun stays up all night to help Mei fix her musical box. Mei finally forgives him and they are back on good terms. George sends Sun to Macau to work with a female colleague. Mei is jealous, but she pretends to be otherwise……

Episode 16

Lei celebrates Sun’s birthday with him in Macau. Mei believes it is Fa again, who uses her supernatural power to get Lei and Sun together. Fa denies. Sun tells Fu that Yau is in fact his sister and that she is a good woman. Yau visits the radio station in hope to meet and greet with the vocal talent. By chance, she finds out that Fu is in fact the vocal talent. Their relationship, thus, turns better. Shui is being chased by his debtors and Fa wants to help him. But she accidentally touches some water and loses her power. She and Shui are then kidnapped. Fa finds that she has gradually fallen for Shui and promises him to help him get rid of his bad habit. Lei, on the other hand, wants to start a new relationship with Sun. Sun knows that Mei is angry with him as she saw him with Lei in Macau. He tries to explain. Fa and God Yee Long join hands to help Shui……

Episode 17

Fu and Sai finally fall for each other. When Choi finds out that Fu works in the radio station as a vocal talent, and also that Fu is dating Yau, he expels Fu from home. Fu has nowhere to go and Sun invites him to stay with him. Lei is very jealous when she sees that Sun cares for Mei and she pretends to commit suicide to make Sun stays with her. Sun has to stay in Lei’s home and cannot return to his home. Mei stays up all night waiting for him. Sun asks Lei to help Mei at Mei’s florist shop, but Lei deliberately mess up her place. Mei is pissed. She is angrier when Sun defends for Lei. After Fu has left home, Choi is forced to manage the business at the restaurant all by himself. He is too exhausted that he passed out in the street. Fu quickly sends him to the hospital. Shui goes to gamble and Fa tries to stop him from going. Suddenly, there is a fire and Shui rushes into the fire scene to save Fa. She is moved.

Episode 18

God Yee Long and Fa join forces to help Shui get rid of his gambling habit. Because of Fa, Shui finally stops gambling. Lei again threatens to commit suicide and demands Sun to go to her home. She tries to get him drunk. Fa and Mei arrive in time to save him. When Sun is drunk, he reveals that he is deeply in love with Mei and Mei is touched. Mei and Sun later go on a picnic and they are confronted by some robbers. Mei uses her supernatural power to frighten the robbers away. Sun discovers it and thinks Mei is a ghost. He is scared and avoid coming into contact with her. Mei then discloses that she is a fairy. Sun asks Lei to come out and tell her that he no longer loves her. Mei also tells George that she and Sun are a couple. Choi, on the other hand, mistakenly thinks that Fung is having an affair with another man. However, he accidentally causes Shui to die……

The souls of Sun and George are switched and George stays in Sun’s house to look for the evidence. Shui tells George that he has the evidence with him. He asks George, who is now in Sun’s body, to go with him to tell Choi. To prevent Shui from revealing the truth to Choi, George tries to drown Shui in the river. Sun asks Sun to tell Mei that he has switched soul with George, but Mei does not believe him. Sun then tells her about their story and Mei finally believes him. Fa and God Yee Long go back to the human world to rescue Mei and Sun. George pushes Sun off a building and Sun is nearly killed. Luckily, Fa and God Yee Long manage to switch back his soul with George. Fa, Mei and God Yee Long again ask the King of the heavenly gods for his forgiveness. They ask if they can become human to live in the human world and the King finally agrees. However, Mei, who is now pregnant with Sun’s baby, has to stay in heaven……
