She honestly believes Brooke is a different person now, and really loves Ridge. Brooke can't believe that Ridge got out of there alive, and Ridge explains to Brooke that it was Anna. Anna says that she lost her family to the foundary, and wouldn't let Ridge die.

Ridge is just happy to be back, and hopes to start a family with Brooke, who catches Nick's eye as she realises that her next child may not be Ridge's.
