When Pepe and Grandma head out for a day at the beach, their plans are foiled by a flat tire. In search of something to plug the hole, Pepe starts poking around in a creepy abandoned house and winds up catching the attention of a spirit bent on ridding the townspeople of all their stress. What at first seems like an amazing thing soon turns into a nightmare as the blissed-out residents of Carne Valley are too chill to keep the wheels of daily society in gear. He finally tracks down a case, and against everyone else’s advice (it has an expiry date that pre-dates his own birth) he guzzles a bottle. Pepe’s body is instantly under attack from the bacteria contained in the rancid drink and he goes into catatonic shock. It’s up to Grandma and her shrinking potion to take the gang on a fantastic voyage inside Pepe’s body, to fight the growing enemy fungus and bring Pepe back to the land of the living.
