It is the eve of Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement. Prison Therapist, Yael, is assigned a new patient. Nigist, prepares to bid farewell to her son, Rafa. Forensic scientist Naama, wrestles with a big decision. Dina must allow son, Amnon, his independence. Everything in their lives is about to change forever with the disappearance of Kfir, Yael's young son, in terrible and mysterious circumstances.

Detective Mendelovich leads the investigation into Kfir's death and must interrogate Yael and her husband Eitan. Dina and Eran, find Amnon, who was wandering the streets on the night of the murder, and are faced with a dilemma when they discover he has piece of evidence that belonged to Kfir.
