Davis and Karen involve Hank in a police training exercise, and things get chaotic when he falls too deep into character and can’t get out. Frustrated that Brent doesn’t sell live bait at Corner Gas, Oscar sets up a Bait Shack across the street to teach his son a lesson.

The Dog River sewer system backs up causing chaos. No one can use their toilets, so Karen and Davis bring in a porta-potty that everyone fights over. Hank sees a business opportunity and starts PÜBER, a mobile outhouse. Wanda thinks she’s responsible for the clog and treks into the sewer system while Lacey bribes Brent to keep the only working toilet in town a secret. Meanwhile, Emma tricks Oscar into updating their family portrait when she finds an unused gift certificate.
