Episode 1

The fellow ask FA and her wet-nurse to buy seeds. They meet SHAN and TAK who are competing in horse-racing. FA obstructs TAK's way and SHAN wins. TAK's horse steps on to FA's paper note and smashes it into pieces. FA demands TAK to compensate her. TAK founds FA very unreasonable. FA's father operates a fish stall so as to cover his revolution activity. TAK loses TAT's land in the market. HIN begs TAK to change her mind. TAK cheats TAT to dismantle the market and rebuild it. T AT finds helpless. FA and his older fellow workman go to the seashore to get fish. They meet TAT who relies on his position and influence to insult others. FA shows off her Chinese Kung-Fu. TAT tries to attack FA but he hurts himself instead. He is fainted. HIN is shocked. He urges FA to leave as soon as possible.

Episode 2

DOR's subordinates chase FA. She flees to the LUK YUNG Temple. TAK is entertaining a guest, Prince KONG. HIN arrives and asks for help. TAK thinks of a plot. He claims that FA is his new concubine. DOR gives respect to Prince KONG and leave. Prince KONG reports TAK's case to the Empress Dowager. She bestows hundred banquets to TAK. TAK discusses with HIN. TAK has no alternative. He then arranges to marry FA. FA deliberately stirs up trouble on the wedding day. Sill wants to teach FA a lesson. FA shows her Chinese Kung-Fu. All are shocked. Sill instigates Mill to confront against FA. FA wants to leave after offering tea to TAK's great grandmother on the wedding day. TAK tempts FA to stay with money. FA is not interested at all. TAK is scared to find out that he has committed the crime of deceiving the Emperor from Prince KONG if the marriage between him and FA is a false one.

Episode 3

FA quarrels with SHAN's brother WAN in the market. They fight against each other. Sill speaks bad word on FA. The great grandmother is very angry. TAK deliberately conceals the truth. Fortunately, FA returns home in time. She even promises TAK that she will stay in FONG's house for one year. FA follows TAK to visit Prince KONG. FA fights against a black bear specimen. They laugh at her. FA asks the steward, P AK, to teach her good manners. FA acts so different as if she was not the same person. TAK praises her. SZE plays trick on her which makes her very embarrassed. FA carelessly fires a salute of gun which is prepared for KONG. TAK is shocked.

All demands HIN to pluck the green on the Goddess of Sea Festival. HlN knew that the revolutionist name list hidden in the green. He swears to get the list. TAT becomes an idiot. DOR hates HIN and FA. He wants SHAN to join in the plucking green competition. DOR sees that TAT and WAN are getting along well with each other. He wants to match ?make them. SHAN is shocked. He makes an excuse to leave as soon as possible. WAN devises to arrange a contest on physical strength for marrying her. She could refuse TAT on one hand and find a helper for SHAN on the other hand. FU goes to Guangzhou. He is like Samson at Gaza. WAN rescues him. FU becomes an odd-job man in the LEE's house. He admires WAN. DOR helps TAT to cheat in a civil test. TAT could then pass the civil test.

SHAN fails to pluck the green. ERH plots against the business of transportation of rice in Grand Canal. The business is very bad. WAN lies that SHEK has gone to the capital for business so as to make SHAN not so worried. HOU and MEI return home. They like to play trick on other people. TAK could not cope with her daughter and son. WAN falls into the trap due to greediness. HIN wants FA to disguise as SHEK to save W AH. SHEK has no choice. He lies that he is a revolutionist and will set off to the capital to assassinate Prince KUNG. WAN sees him off. She misses him a lot. SHEK will take the boat for a long trip. WAN sees SHEK off from far away. However, she sees FA on the boat. HIN and HING eavesdrop DOR and four emissaries who are discussing the plan of exterminating the revolutionist. HING is discovered. HIN is hurt. HING and HIN escape away.

WAN questions FA. FA denies. WAN thinks that FA and SHEK are lovers. FU goes to the fish stall for revenge. HIN keeps away from him. SHAN performs lion dancing in FONG's house. He claims that FA is a wanton woman. TAK is very angry. FA tells TAK the truth. FA and TAK then cooperates to make WAN give up FA. TAK bribes the district magistrate. SHEK is caught and is sentenced to death. WAN is so irritated that she faints. FA arrives the WAN LOI Temple. She heard TAK who is complaining to KAN about her. FA quarrels with T Al. WAN is around. She heard the quarrel and finds out that she was being cheated. She wants to kill FA. WAN chases FA to a cliff. WAN falls down from the cliff carelessly. FA rescues her. However, WAN still wants to kill FA. FA flees away.

WAN is very depressed. She felt better when she thinks of KAN's condolence. SZE expresses her love to TAK for a few time. TAK refuses her. HIN attends a meeting with some revolutionists at the brothel. The four emissaries discover them. All flee. The four kill as many people as possible at the brothel. FU is crazy for WAN. He attacks all merchants who have concubines for WAN's sake. The people think that WAN is the murderer. One night, WAN backs from the WAN LOI Temple. A merchant is being attacked. WAl, is difficult to get at the truth. She is caught and is judged at the ancestral hall. DOR sets WAN up. WAN is then being locked up in the lunatic asylum. FA felt very sorry.

FU frankly tells WAN that he is the real murderer. However, they have no evidence. WAN thinks of KAN who can help her. She orders FU to ask KAN to be her witness. FA sees that FU is so grumpy. She advises KAN to leave. FU worries a lot. FA knew that she has done something wrong. She decides to find KAN together with FU DOR wants WAN to marry TAT. He threatens to send WAN to the lunatic island. FU is very angry. SHAN tries to delay DOR. FU and FA cannot find KAN. KAN is living in the FONG's house. She has had bad dreams all night. The next morning she sees KAN passes by her window. She thinks that it is a dream again.

FA asks TAK to give her a boundary pass. She and FU want to leave the city to search for KAN. Suddenly, KAN appears. FA is glad. KAN meets MA. MA was his old love. MA beats KAN with a crutch. KA1~ if; bleeding. KAN is so irritated that he becomes a dolt. FA cheats MA that KAN is dead. MA is not moved at all. FA infatuates TAK and claims that TAK is bothered by KAN's spirit. TAK awakes. However, he does not destroy FA's plot. He pretends that he is still bothered by KAN's spirit. MA agrees to worship and offer sacrifices to KAN at the WAN LOI Temple. KAN sees MA. He cannot control himself and appears. MA leaves. KAN chases after her. MA falls into the well carelessly. KAN falls into the well for the sake of saving MA. They talk with each other about the pass under the well. They eventually reconcile. KAN dies with a smile as he has nothing to worry about.

Episode 12

TAK and FA found out from a young monk that WAN owes the temple money. The record book also recorded WAN's visit at the WAN LOI Temple. They hurry to stop DOR from sending WAN to the lunatic island. TAK and FA provide evidences to prove that WAN is guilty. WAN is eventually found innocent. However, WAN still cannot forgive FA. MA punishes TAK. TAK is locked in a chamber. He feels cold and hungry. FA sends food to TAK secretly. TAK eats greedily. 'I'M backs home. He pretends to be very depressed and weak. MA feels very sorry. However, his daughter and son are not moved at all. FA finds TAK who does not get along well with his son and daughter. RIN and RING go to the capital. They miss FA a lot. They are attacked by four secret agents. Fortunately, KUEN arrives in time and rescues them. He sends HIN to the Sill LAM Temple for taking medical treatment.

Episode 13

FA decides to educate MEI and HAO for TAK's sake. To cater their pleasure, FA teaches them Chinese Kung-FU WAN manages SHAN's business. WAN and FU manage it well. SHAN encourages FU to chase WAN. Calico is very popular. TAK quarrels with the British Ambassador, LAW. LAW criticizes that the quality of the China-made dungaree is very bad. TAK does not agree. TAK decides to compete with LAW. SZE accompanies TAK to find the best dungaree. SZE could then get a chance to get acquainted with TAK. They eventually find the most elastic cloth and the lightest silk. SZE carelessly bums her arm. She tolerates the painfulness.

TAK imports a weaving machine from England. He asks his big grandmother for three hundred thousand dollars to set up a plant. TAK is under great pressure. Fortunately, FA encourages TAK. The British Ambassador sets TAK up. He does not send technicians to TAK's plant. Fortunately, SZE finds an old friend, PAUL, to help. TAK is glad. SZE helps to work at the factory. She is happy to see TAK all the time. MEI and HOU are now more obedient. TAK thanks FA. DOR orders SHAN to sell the piers to TAK. It leads to a quarrel. SHAN brings WAN and FU along to attend a banquet. FU is being insulted. WAN is very angry. WAN asks a teacher to teach FU. FU thinks that Sill and his friends intend to insult WAN. He tries to beat them. WAN misunderstands FU. FU decides to leave SHAN's home.

WAN chases FU. FU is determined to leave. During the opening day of TAK's factory, SHAN and WAN arrive. They negotiate with TAK. DOR does not say a word. SHAN is being cheated and incurs him great loss. SHAN's pier business is very bad. The workers work for TAK instead. The business of FONG LUNG HO, TAK’s company, is booming. SZE admires TAK. She is very jealous with TAK and FA who are so intimate. The first cloth has been completed at TAK’s factory. They celebrate. Someone has framed PAUL up. They think that PAUL had raped Aunt TUNG. SHAN takes revenge. There is a fire at TAK's warehouse in confusion. DOR accuses SHAN wrongfully and claims that he had set the fire. SHAN and WAN escape away.

DOR chases SHAN and WAN. He catches SHAN. WAN escapes away. TAK's factory re-opens. FA and her family work at the factory to help TAK. They eventually finish hundred yards. TAK is glad. SZE proposes to hold a party. TAK sees that FA is very lovely when MEI and HOU are teaching her dancing. TAK dances with FA. SZE is very jealous. SHAN is sentenced to death. WAN rescues him. DOR tries to arrest WAN. Fortunately, FU arrives in time. He sets WAN free. TAK introduces a boy to SZE. SZE is very angry. FA brings TAK, MEI and HOU to go for a night walk. The four are intimate and harmonious.

Episode 18

SZE is drunk and has not yet returned home. TAK worries a lot for her. They go to search for SZE. TAK finds SZE in a temple. SZE expresses her love feeling to TAK. She requests TAK to marry her. They laugh at SZE. SZE is shy and leaves sadly. HlN goes to TAK's house to ask FA return home. FA and TAK worry a lot. TAK by chances finds out that HlN is a patriot. HlN takes this opportunity to ask TAK for help. TAK decides to help them to escape away after thorough consideration. DOR finds them. TAK asks the British Ambassador to help. However, the British Ambassador has to return to England at that time. He assigns his personal assistant, SZE, to handle this case. SZE is still very angry with TAK. She does not lend a helping hand. DOR searches TAK's home. Fortunately, he finds nothing. HlN opposes TAK and FA get married for FA's sake. TAK understands HlN who is with good intention.

FU scarifies himself. He locks WAN up and goes to rescue SHAN alone. KA breaks FU's arms and legs. SHAN escapes away together with FU. WAN arrives. She sees that FU is seriously injured. She decides to marry her. Prince KUNG is being dismissed by the Empress Dowager. DOR and Prince SHUN search FONG's house. Fortunately, SZE arrives in time. She requests to bring three wooden boxes back to the British Embassy. DOR is very angry. TAK begs SZE to bring the three patriots leave China. SZE takes the chance to force TAK marry her. SZE becomes TAK’s wife. She treats Sill, MUI and FA badly for revenge. TAK fears that it will involve his family into trouble. He severs his connection with his family members. FA then backs to her mother's home and lives anew.

Episode 20

SZE and TAK send the three patriots to the pier. DOR tries to stop them. HlN and MEI try to help. DOR beats them. The three escape away. DOR arrests TAK and SZE. The British Ambassador goes bail for SZE. DOR questions TAK. TAK does not fear at all. DOR respects TAK. FA meets WAN. FA and WAN eventually reconcile. FA and MUI decide to rescue TAK. MEI advises FA, WAN and MUI to join together. They attempt to rescue TAK during the execution. However, they could not defeat DOR. Later, HlN, MEI, SHAN and FU join in. They eventually defeat DOR. Prince KUNG resumes duty. The Emperor trusts KUNG and the three patriots. Since then FONG TAK and his family live happily together.
