Episode 1

There is a murder case in a bank The victim is the general manager's (KEI's) secretary, JENNY. JENNY fell down from the high floor to the central lobby and died. According to the receptionist, YUNG's statement, there is nothing strange about YUNG before she died. JENNY's mother is in overseas. The police could not reach her at the moment. The coroner's report shows that JENNY had pregnant for three months. The police searches JENNY's home and finds a photo in which JENNY and KEI were together. They also find out that JENNY had already arranged an abortion and had arranged a flight ticket to US. The murder case is not that simple.

Episode 2

YUNG reports to the police that she had been robbed. The robber got a tattoo 'UN' on his arm. The police finds out that KEI had transferred two hundred thousand dollars to JENNY's account. KEI naturally becomes the suspect. The police then asks KEI to give statement. KEI admits that he had lent money to JENNY for the flat down payment and had sent JENNY home. However, he could prove that he was in the 15th floor when the murder was happening. The police set KEI free as they have insufficient evidence to charge him. Another murder case happened. The victim is JENNY's mother who had just arrived from Guangzhou. The police discovers KEI's finger print at the murder spot. KEI is again being arrested.

They find out that KONG has given false evidence. KEI is then unable to bail and is being detained. BON finds that the case is very suspicious. He thinks that KEI need not kill any body directly as he is very rich. He also would not leave so much obvious evidence. It must be a set up. Somebody is trying to frame him up. BON and KEI are brothers with same father and different mothers. BON's superior fears that BON will favour KEI. Thus he orders BON to stop handling this case. BON discovers that JENNY has left a film-roll. It had pictures taken in Thai by JENNY and her boyfriend. TING gives a video-cassette to the police. The real murder is..............

HONG joins a bank and quits his post as a graphic designer. He is determined to manage his family business. The YIP's family are very glad. KIN and FONG live together. However, FONG keeps all KIN's money. She only gives seventy dollars pocket money to KIN per day. BON dislikes FONG's way and rebukes her. LAP is very ambitious. He deliberately goes out with the stream for a better future. He accompanies Sir TAI to the bar to flirt around. He meets BING who is very sexy. He is deeply attracted by her. BING is KEI's youngest daughter. BING leaves a diamond ring in the bar. LAP picks the ring. LAP got a chance to approach BING. However, BING does not show up again in that bar.

The criminal, KONG, escapes away from the district court. He goes to see KEI. He extorts money for over twenty years. He then could use this money to flee to Taiwan. In order to maintain the family reputation, he sends CHEONG to deal with KONG. Unexpectedly, CHEONG kills KONG so as to keep his mouth shut. HONG works in a bank as a customer services officer so that he could start from the beginning. Unexpectedly, he meets YUNG who he has secretly admired. Now they become colleague. BON likes FONG and wants to chase her. However, FONG has already got a close boyfriend.

Coincidentally, both KIN and HONG fall in love with YUNG. KIN even gives up chasing YUNG for HONG's sake. Unexpectedly, KIN got the chance to help YUNG's elder sister to repay her debt. He even knows more about YUNG's complicated background. He sympathizes YUNG. YUNG has a good impression on KIN. TING is CHEONG's mistress. CHEONG takes a big customer, SHAN, to TING's pub. YEE and FONG become colleagues. They are both very green in teaching. They are bothered by two naughty students. These students help HANG to sell copy disc. Thus, they could not concentrate in study. YEE demands to see their parents. HANG disguises as their parents. However, YEE sees through his lie. HANG is touched with YEE who is so determined and firm. He apologizes to YEE. He even advises the two naughty students to work hard in school. FONG urges TAI to add her name in the property contract. However, TAI is reluctant to add her name. FONG and TAI take some wedding photo. Their colleagues always instigate them to fix a date for their wedding. BON by chance knows that the flat which is jointly bought by TAI and FONG is actually belonged to somebody with a surname MA. He knows that there is something wrong.

TAI disappears. FONG awakes. TAI is actually a swindler. He is cheating FONG. BING plays trick on KIN. She wants to make him surrender to her. She even seizes his wallet and identity card. She thinks that she is in an advantageous position this time. Unexpectedly, KIN strikes back and make BING very embarrass in public. LAP arrives and gives BING a ride. BING knows that LAP does like her a lot. She deliberately sleeps with him so as to vent her anger. After that night, BING treats LAP as cool as before. Sir TAI introduces TO to CHEONG. They are in league in a big cigarette smuggling project. Unexpectedly, CHEONG fails and owes CHEONG over twenty million dollars.

CHEONG only got twelve million. He cannot ask his daddy to help. Meanwhile, TO kidnaps CHEONG andTING. TO gives CHEONG one week's time. TING becomes the hostage. CHEONG has no other alternative. His subordinate, MAN, indicates CHEONG that he could rob his own bank. In another aspect, HANG knows that a few rascals is going to rob a bank. HANG is LAP's spy. He tells LAP the case. LAP pays HANG more to join in the action. Unexpectedly, LAP got drunk. He is with a prostitute. The telephone recorder belonged to the prostitute records LAP and HANG's conversation. LAP's plan is thus called off. LAP returns to the police station late. HANG escapes away by driving. One of the robber kidnaps YUNG and HONG. KIN wants to shoot a robber but HONG jumps out and is being shot during the emergency.

YUNG struggles to get rid of SHING. SHING is eventually shot to death. HONG is being sent to the hospital. The doctors take the bullet out from him. He could eventually escape from death. However, his legs are para1yzed. SING complains. The superior also puts pressure on KIN. KIN is forced to take leave. A special committee is set up and LAP will in charge of the investigation. CHEONG could not repay all debt in time. TO gives him more time. KIN feels very sorry for hurting ON. He is at a loss. He cannot face YUNG who is HONG's lover. HANG is wanted. YEE asks YING to lend her thirty thousand dollars to escape away. YING reports the case to LAP and puts HANG into prison. HANG misunderstands that YEE has betrayed him. YEE feels very sorry.

YUNG asks FONG to give a letter to KIN for her. YUNG tells KIN that she loves him deeply in the letter. KIN sees YUNG in the hospital. He sees that YUNG is saying goodbye to HONG who is asleep. YUNG and KIN see each other. YUNG ignores KIN. She gets on a mini bus and leaves. KIN waits for YUNG nearby her home. He explains to YUNG the case. They eventually reconcile. KIN returns to work. He buys cakes for his colleague. Sir TAI listened to a recording tape which has recorded ROSA, the prostitute, and LAP's conversation. He suspects LAP who is negligent of his duties. LAP is immediately suspended from office for further investigation. LAP is very depressed. He always wanders at the pubs..........

KEI returns to Hong Kong after a business trip. TO immediately tells KEI about CHEONG's case. KEI repays the debt for CHEONG. TING is then released. BING plays trick on LAP. However, LAP could eventually reconcile with YUNG. KIN and YUNG visit HONG at the hospital. HONG suddenly awakes. The doctor finds that HONG legs are completely paralyzed due to the damage in the nerves. YUNG supports and encourages HONG. HONG is more optimistic and accepts taking physiotherapy treatment. KIN listens to what YUNG said. The lease expires. FONG rents another flat. She then becomes BON's neighbour. BON takes the chance to approach FONG. FONG has a good impression on BON. YEE knows that HANG is found guilty and is being sentenced to two years imprisonment, they hate LAP deeply.

YUNG and KIN visit HONG together. BING indicates to HONG that they are dating. HONG drives them away. HONG gives up and refuses to take the physiotherapy treatment. The next day YUNG again visits HONG. HONG avoids to see YUNG. BING even slaps YUNG. YUNG is very upset. LING feels very upset to see BON and FONG who are in love with each other. She arranges to see FONG. She wants FONG to leave BON so that she could recover her relation with BON. FONG does not want to destroy other's family. She agrees to leave BON. Aunt LAN eventually convinces HONG. HONG forgives KIN and YUNG. They send HONG a birthday cake. BON knows that LING has seen FONG. He questions LING the case. LING is very embarrassed.

TAI appears. He tells FONG the truth. FONG does not forgive him. She slaps him. BON is shocked. The police arrests a robber, KAO. KAO is not very cooperative. CHEONG finds HANG to identify the suspect. HANG recognizes KAO who was the one who had kidnapped him. KAO is in no way to deny. He tells the police that CHEONG is the master of the robbery. Sir T AI is very satisfied. He will make use of HANG to threaten CHEONG. CHEONG bribes TAI with his new flats to exchange information regarding KAO's whereabouts CHEONG eventually kills KAO at the hospital toilet. YEE represents the church to visit HANG. HANG insults YEE and leaves. HANG eventually feels very touched with YEE's letter. He does not hate the TSUI's family anymore. TAI meets the swindler, JOYCE. She is being beaten by his boyfriend. FONG takes JOYCE home and puts on some ointment for her. Unexpectedly, BON sees TAI came out from FONG's home.… ...

BON hits TAI. His family members blame him. BON apologizes to TAI. FONG eventually forgives him. BON and FONG reconcile. BON does not love LING anymore. He proposes a divorce. FONG cannot accept the truth. She goes to see FONG. FONG is hurt during the confusion. FONG becomes crippled. FONG feels very sorry. FUNG graduated from overseas. He works in the W AH YIP Bank as an assistant manager. He is also the head of the investment department. CHEONG is shocked. TAI introduces HUNG to CHEONG for setting up the nightclub business. TAI only shares twenty percent of the total investment, CHEONG will take care the rest. CHEONG appreciates LAP who has helped FUNG to find her lost car.

LING wants to make BON stay. She has made a lot of trouble instead. In order to save LING, FONG is nearly died. LING eventually agrees to get divorce and migrates to Australia. CHEONG brings HONG home from the hospital. HONG walks with a canestick. He is filled with emotion. The YIP's family is very happy. HONG works at the bank the next day. His grandpa appointed him to be head the loan department simultaneously. His daddy, CHEONG, is very happy. He believes that HONG will have more chance and could take some advantage. There is a murder case in the Fantansy Nightclub. The victim is a young girl who worked at the Karaoke. The coroner proves that she is died of drug overdosed. BON finds that HONG is a drug-trafficker. TAI passes the case to D.E.A.

The car-stealing activities is prevalent nearby the Ramada Inn Hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui East. LAP arrives. He finds that MAN's briefcase is full of illegal drugs. CHEONG keeps LAP's mouth shut by giving him a lot of money. CHEONG succeeded in making a deal. They celebrate in an V.LP. room. BON heard that KIN is following MAN. He suspects MAN who is involved in the drug-trafficking case. However, MAN orders her girlfriend to throwaway the drug before inspection. MAN is then released due to insufficient evidence. However, the police finds that his girlfriend has taken cocaine. TAI scolds BON who should not get himself involve in this case. KIN is very upset. LAP meets TING. He promises to arrange her daughter, SHAN SHAN, to see her. TING brings SHAN home and takes good care of her. LAP and YING have dinner together during the Valentine's day. LAP suddenly receives a call. He then makes an excuse and leaves.… ...

LAP knows that FUNG does not have a boyfriend at the moment. He deliberately takes her to the disco so as to win her favour. LAP claims that his girlfriend is mad at him. FUNG is very confused. She cannot tell LAP's intention? LAP sends YING's parents to the airport. YING apologizes to LAP. LAP feels very sorry. LAP gives two opera tickets to FUNG which was bought by YING. He intends to see the opera with LUNG. LAP lies to YING that he is busy that night and had already given the tickets to his superior. LAP proposes to separate with YING so as to give themselves some time to clam down. YING does not know the truth and accepts his proposal.

When YEE had known the case, she knows that there is something wrong. When YEE saw LAP and FUNG are together, she find it unbelievable. YEE discloses the truth before the family members. LAP leaves angrily. BON witnesses the scene. FUNG invites LAP to have dinner at her home. BING teases LAP who just wanted to mingle with a rich family. KEI by chance heard the conversation, he feels very uncomfortable. TAI gives a two million cheque to CHEONG and claims that it is the profit. CHEONG knows that T AI has cheated him. He is very dissatisfied. CHEONG gives LAP a five hundred thousand-dollar cheque.

LAP hates TAI. He captures a bag of heroine from one of TAI's subordinate so as to exchange for BON's lost pistol. TING tells BON that SHAN has disappeared. She wants him to accompany her to search for SHAN. However, they cannot find SHAN. At midnight, LAP meets T AI at the Devil Mount for an exchange deal. LAP is being cheated. LAP struggles. TAI is being shot to death. SING witnesses the scene. LAP throws the murdering weapon to the sea. He changes some new clothes and burns his old clothes. He wants to remove all evidence against him. Sir LEUNG finds a few pills in the murder spot. The plastic pocket has the name 'TSUI WING BON' written on it. Simultaneously, the expert proves that the bullet in T AI's body is from T AI's pistol. BON is the suspect. The police arrests him. KWONG is BON's lawyer. The prosecutor provides evidence and witness against BON.

TING's statement could not provide an alibi for BON. SING recognizes that LAP is the real murder. SING has been to the Devil Mount before arrested. LAP is shocked. He immediately sends SING to the house of detention. The defendant needs time to contact another witness. KWONG requests the judge to postpone the court for a week. The judge grants the petition. CHUNG gives the statement that BON and TING were finding SHAN that night. However, his statement is not valid as he is a drug addict. The jury shake their head........ The spy reports that the witness had already been sent back to the mainland. KIN and KEUNG investigate the file and find that SING had already sent back to Tung Kwan. KIN and LAP eventually find SING.

SING tries to escape away but he carelessly falls down from the roof top and dies. In the high court, the prosecutor and KWONG wind up the case. The jury decide that BON is guilty. BON is shocked. FONG is very upset. LAP is also very upset. LAP visits BON in the prison. BON asks him to find the real murderer as he is innocent. FONG is determined to find more evidence for an appeal. The superior eventually finds out that KIN is not involved in the drug trafficking case. KIN resumes his office. HANG is hurt by SO in the prison. BON gets hurt by SO because of helping HANG.

HANG was a spy nine years ago. He was the one who made SO got into the prison. BON and HANG become very good friend after the incident. CHUNG asks YUNG to join him in drug trafficking. YUNG uses KIN in drug trafficking. However, it involves KIN into trouble. The police officer, T AM, suspends KIN from duty. YUN reforms himself. He works in the car park. YUNG is glad for his change. FONG eventually finds some evidence. KWONG thinks that those evidence could not help BON to appeal. FONG will not give up.

KIN and KEUNG see that CHUNG is carrying a satchel heading his way to the car park. KIN and KEUNG arrest CHUNG and YUNG. YUNG knew that there is something wrong. Some people is using YUN. She begs KIN to find out the truth. KIN gives all details in court regarding the drug trafficking deal between CHUNG and YUN. They are sentenced to be guilty. YUN claims that he is innocent. YUNG is very disappointed with KIN and proposes to separate with him. HANG's father is going to die very soon. His father asks YEE to advise HANG to reform himself.

YUNG knew that YUN is beaten to death in the prison. Her heart is broken............... KIN finds out that CHUNG was killed by YUN. YUN claims that CHUNG has framed him up. KIN has wronged YUN. He feels very sorry. YUNG hates KIN deeply. KIN performs good at work. Sir TSANG send him to U'K. for a three-year training programme. KIN wants to see YUNG before he sets off. However, YUNG refuses to see him. KWONG gives FONG a ride to visit BON. BON is very depressed. He loses confidence in the appeal. He asks FONG to leave him. However, FONG loves BON deeply. She is determined to wait for him for the rest of her life. KIN returns to Hong Kong after the training. He visits BON. He is filled with emotion. FUNG encourages HONG to chase YUNG.

KIN arranges to meet YUNG. However, they could not meet each other. KIN is drinking in a pub. He is very disappointed as YUNG did not show up. Meanwhile, HONG arrives. He worries that KIN and YUNG will reconcile. The head of the police force orders KIN to contact the police spy in clearing a drug trafficking case worth over thirty million. KIN collects all drugs and arrests the head of the drug workshop, Fat LUNG. HANG releases from prison. He works in a food stall delivering take-away food. YEE concerns HANG a lot. BON refuses to see FONG. FONG is very depressed.

KWONG expressed to FONG his love. FONG refuses him with the excuse that she has already got a boyfriend.......... KWONG is very upset. He intends to travel to Europe. FONG is eventually moved by KWONG who is so caring and sincere. KWONG sends FONG home. They meet KEUNG. KEUNG tells the TSUI's family the case. The TSUI's have different opinion on this case. KEUNG tells BON the news. BON pretends that he is all right. In fact, he feels very painful and upset. FONG remembers that BON has mentioned that a couple had asked BON the way during the night of the murder. FONG then posts BON's photo and writes 'Seeking young couple - good reward'. KWONG and TING show the poster at the main entrance of the concrete hall. They eventually find a female witness, FONG.

KWONG goes to the airport to pick up the witness. Unexpectedly, the witness is died of heart disease. KWONG requests the judge to delay the court for a month as they need time to find the female witness's divorced husband, CHUNG, to give statement at court. The judge allows to postpone the court for a week. KWONG finds that CHUNG is in France. He goes to France to find him.

KWONG eventually finds CHUNG. In the court, there is sufficient evidence to prove that BON is innocent. The jury decide that BON is not guilty and is released immediately at court. It eventually undresses the wrong for BON. Everybody is very glad. MAY arranges KIN and YUNG to meet. YUNG still does not forgive KIN and leaves. KIN is very upset. He drinks a lot in the pub. YUNG performs well at work. FUNG arranges YUNG and HONG to Shanghai for negotiating a business deal. YUNG agrees as she does not want to lose this golden opportunity. KWONG frankly tells FONG that he had given false statement to let the suspect, W AH, find not guilty. It is because WAH has helped CHUNG to make a false traveling document for BON's sake.

KWONG was being disqualified as a lawyer. FONG is moved. She decides to marry KWONG. BON celebrates with KWONG and FONG. He is very upset at heart. YUNG's sister convinces YUNG to accept KIN. KIN pages YUNG. However, HONG deliberately clears the message........

LAP eventually got FUNG. Now he treats her in a cool way. FUNG is very understanding. She proposes to separate temporarily for both of them to calm down. FBI wipes off the drug dealing gang with its headquarters in the Virgin Island. CHEONG and LAP lose a lot of money. LAP is determined to re-build his drug trafficking network. CHEONG wants LAP to reconcile with FUNG as she is useful to them. LAP tries hard to win FUNG’s heart. He apologizes sincerely. FUNG is happy. YING wants to see LAP very much. LAP avoids to see her. YING asks KIN to arrange LAP to see her. KIN said that LAP has gone to China. Unexpectedly, YING sees LAP and FUNG dating in Hong Kong. YING waits for LAP in a corner outside the TSUI's family. KIN advises YING not to think about LAP anymore, YING eventually gives up LAP.

YING's parent back to Hong Kong from Canada. They introduce SAM to YING. YING does not like him. YING is being sent to the hospital due to a car accident. KIN visits YING in the hospital. Unexpectedly, YING's parent think that KIN is YING's boyfriend. YING is very embarrassed. YEE recommends HANG to work in a pharmacy owned by SIN's uncle. HANG is employed. He is very happy. Old POW will migrate aboard very soon. He does want to sell food shop. BON is now unemployed. KIN takes the initiative to help BON to find a job. HONG is determined to have YUNG. He expresses his love to YUNG. YUNG refuses him. She regards HONG as a friend only. However, HONG does not give up. FUNG encourages HONG not to give up.

YUNG resigns to FUNG. FUNG tries her best to keep YUNG stay. YUNG is in a dilemma. LAP proposes to marry FUNG. FUNG is touched. She embraces LAP and agrees to marry him. YIP and TSUI' s family are very busy in preparing the wedding. SING concerns BON. He buys POW's shop and assigns BON to manage the shop. BON has a strong sense of belonging in Old Pow Kee. Thus, he agrees to help SING. After the wedding, KIN becomes the middleman between YUNG and HONG. YUNG and HONG eventually reconcile. KIN is happy for them. KIN arrests Big Head TUNG's subordinate. He questions him about TUNG's illegal deal. KIN finds out that TUNG will come to Hong Kong from the Mainland very soon for a big deal. LAP returns to Hong Kong after the honeymoon. He heard that CHEONG has set up a few companies. He had arranged ten million loan from a few banks for an expansion of his drug trafficking business.… ...

Out of their expectation, TUNG is shot to death by KIN during the deal. The police confiscates all drugs. It incurs a huge loss for CHEONG. YING decides to settle down in Canada. KIN is filled with emotion before she left. CHEONG and LAP have to repay the debt within two days time. LAP devises to get the confidential bank code from FUNG by a trick........ CHEONG asks MAN to use the confidential code to postpone the payment due for a month. FUNG again encourages HONG to express his love to YUNG. YUNG eventually accepts HONG.

KIN even finds that there is a bottle containing some medicine. LAN proves that it is belonged to KEI. YIN tells them that everybody is at home that night except CHEONG who works late in the bank. HONG finds that MAN has used his name to set up a firm and has made a bank-loan over ten million dollars approved by CHEONG. MAN has disappeared.

HONG tempts CHEONG. CHEONG is being trapped. CHEONG admits his bad deeds. HONG will tell SING the case. Unexpectedly, SING suddenly faints and is being sent to hospital. HONG does not want to make him so worry. Thus, he does not tell SING about CHEONG's case. The police invites CHEONG to the police station for investigation. However, they have insufficient evidence and set CHEONG free. YUNG goes to the hospital to get some medicine for his mum. She gets to know that KIN is staying in the hospital. She then visits him. She tells KIN that HONG was with her during the night of murder. KIN then knew that HONG has given a false statement as he claimed that he was with CHEONG that night. HONG asks YUNG to deny what she said.

KIN forces YUNG to tell him the truth. HONG struggles with KIN. YUNG fears that they will fight against each other. She then admits that she has lied. She even tells them that CHEONG had gone to his mistress's place. KIN is very confused. LAP resigns. He works in the bank. LAP is very ambitious. He employs WING to be his subordinate.

LAP takes the opportunity to expand his drug trafficking business. He ignores CHEONG. KIN sees that HANG is checked by the police. He feels very dissatisfied with him. YING sells his flat. He tells BON that he had already killed YUNG. LAP is escorted to the airport. LAP goes to the toilet in the airport. KIN bursts in. He kneels down to beg LAP let YUNG go. Meanwhile, a cleaner (disguised by the Columbia killer) takes out a pistol. He shoots LAP twice........
