SIN WAI-YING from the Organized Crime and Triad Bureau (OCTB) is requested to carry out investigation at the crime site. WAI-YING discovers the murderer and finds the offender successfully. Police CHEUNG LAP-FUN immediately chases after the offender alone. In order to stop the offender from firing his gun, LAP-FUN creates a traffic accident and an innocent civilian is seriously injured. The prosecution side tries to provide a large amount of evidences but CHIT-HANG overrules them. When they are meeting up, LAP-FUN suddenly arrives. SHING-YEE believes that CHEUK-CHI has betrayed him and he runs away. LAP-FUN stops him from going and he asks him to face the reality. MEI-CHING and LAP-FUN carry out investigation at an illegal clinic but they fail to find any useful information. When MEI-CHING returns home, LAU YIM captures her and he reveals the truth behind her imprisonment to her. YEE-HANG is drawn to the pier and LAU YIM abducts him with a gun.
