By chance, BROTHER SHODDY uncovers that someone planted an eavesdropping device in his pot plant, so he urgently summons everyone. BROTHER SHODDY learns that BROTHER SAUCY went to see YEUK-LAN, so he instantly tells BROTHER SAUCY to lead him to meet TUNG-HOI. BROTHER SHODDY reveals that he is willing to be at the mercy of TUNG-HOI, in hopes of him letting go of his apprentices, to which TUNG-HOI refuses.
